Wow, I really wanted a direct monitoring knob so adjust between USB playback and direct. When I need that I'm already away from the mouse, it's so much easier to just reach over and dial in the perfect balance with one knob.

Can anybody explain l more about the loops back feature to me?

Auto clip just kills your gain permanently till you adjust it. The take is already scuffed because of this feature.

Just got the 4th gen solo, hooked it up to my new MacBook Air Pro to use with garage band, no sound at all. Changed audio output to the scarlett, power cycled MacBook, still no sound. Please help?

Need help, please. Is the USB connection on the 4th Gen Scarlett Solo good? Does it snap into place like a phone cable? The 3rd Gen Solo that I bought new came with a loose connection. The cable would try to fall out when moving the interface. Thanks.

I'm debating on buying the 80 ohms for my current gen 3 OR buy the gen 4 and the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 headphones.
Can the Solo gen 4 handle the 250 ohms well?

@@onlyskill7003 I ended up just buying a new pair of Sony 7506s and was happy about it, cause they sounded so much better than my old pair of Sony 7506s. I never knew that headphones could lose frequencies over time!

Sustainable! Just like why most phones don't come with chargers anymore.. I think the word sustainable is just an excuse for manufacturers to skimp out on material for their product

    • @guitarcenter

Yes, it's accessed by pressing the Auto button on the front of the Scarlett interface or, alternatively, you can access it in the Focusrite Control software, outside of your DAW.
