Both of the kids are gorgeous!
Thank you!!
What a beautiful video. Your husband is much blessed.
Thanks so much!!
Mayhem is next! She is actually due THIS Saturday, the day after this posts!! Stay tuned!!♡♡
Omg! More babies? ❤
Yes! Lots more. And we are still breeding! I like to spread out my breeding and therefore my kidding season so we are always in fresh milk!!
@@SageandStoneHomestead this is so exciting! Such a cool experience y’all ❤️
Yay!! I'm packing soap orders and watching! ☺️
Multitasking !! I love it!!
@@SageandStoneHomestead always 🤣 That was beautiful!!! And I don't blame you waiting to keep that buckling 😍😍 wow!!
He has such a playful spirit too!!
This was one of the best goat birth videos I've ever seen. The babies are gorgeous and flashy, but I also think that Pesky is a beautiful doe in the classic tradition. And such a good mother!
Thanks so much!! That means a lot to me. ♡♡ Pesky is out of our doe Rorie that we bought from Living Traditions Homestead. She has longer legs but a nice high udder with excellent capacity. We have kept 2 does out of Rorie plus some grandkids!! Titus (our flashy keeper) is growing to be such a sturdy handsome boy!!
So the process is working like God intended 😂
I wish you guys sold goats by me. They look so healthy and good. I love your breeding program you have going. ❤
Thank you!! It would definitely be awesome if we could teleport goats all over!! ♡
@@SageandStoneHomestead I’m just glad I finally researched goats. Our family has a cattle farm so we always thought we had to raise cattle so when we got our own farm that’s what we started out planning the pasture for, but now that we switched to dairy goats plan we can have more on pasture than cows. I just have to find some close to me. If we can’t find any we may do sheep because neighbors have those. ❤️
Where are you located?
@@hickoryhillinthebigwoods-r759 rural Missouri ❤️
There's local sheep farmers near us that milk them and make lots of yummy cheese!!
Both babies so beautiful, Thanks for sharing
Thank you!! Thanks for watching!!
Great job Pesky! (And Heather 😁)
She did all of it, I was freezing my butt off though!! Haha
They are really gorgeous babies! Glad you are keeping the buckling. I'd be tempted to keep them both lol!
It's so hard to let them go sometimes!!
Real beauties!
For sure! Thanks for watching!
Baby goats are all so cute ,blue eyes are the cutest.
I LOVE blue eyes!!
OMG! He is absolutely handsome, i was thinking to myself he is defiantly a keeper 😉
He sure is!! 😍😍
Thank you for sharing this experience with us! I love goats! They are GORGEOUS!
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching!♡♡
Wow!!! He is gorgeous!! I'm glad you are keeping him so we can watch him grow up and mature!!! His sister is VERY pretty as well, the flash sure landed at Sage and Stone via Pesky!!!!😁 It's awesome that mama delivered on her own and without complications. Thanks for sharing and best wishes for Mayhem to have a healthy birthing and babies!!! Stay safe!!!
Thanks so much! Mayhem delivered Boba last time and she is also a stunner. I can't wait! Nothing yet!!
Omgoodness how beautiful the buckling wow...but she's so beautiful as well. And both blue eyes!!!❤❤🐐🐐
They are both so stunning!! I love Havoc babies (that's one of our bucks)!
Wow he's beautiful! They both are so cute. I would be like oh they are so cute they are all staying.. 😂. He's just so beautiful! I love all the colors. Reminds me of calico cats 😂
Yes the tricolor is just stunning!! Plus moonspots!♡♡
Man, I love goat birth videos. Idk what it is, but they're just amazing and beautiful to witness.
I agree! I'm so glad you enjoy them!! Thanks for being here!!
I love her face
Good morning Heather. Congratulations 🎊 on your new babies. Yay! Goat births are my favorite.
Thanks, Nollie!! I'm quite fond of them myself!! 😉
They are beautiful! Oh I am so excited. My goats were all confirmed pregnant yesterday. Two will be first fresheners and four are senior does.
EXCITING!! Congrats!!
What a beautiful video. Thank you!
Thanks so much!!♡♡ Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing we're expecting one if ours to have her first kid any time now
Exciting!!! Thanks for watching!♡
BEAUTIFUL kids!! I especially like seeing how the kids are strong & moving around immediately at birth. A sure sign that mom & babies are very healthy & ready to go! Congratulations Heather. Pesky, & kids! God bless!
Thanks so much! These are especially thrifty kids. The little girl was on the teat within 5 minutes!!
@@SageandStoneHomestead that certainly reflects the care & love you put into your goats!!
Those are keepers! It’s always hard to sell those babies but I have to say, those would be keepers at my farm ❤
I would have kept the girl if I didn't already have so many. Lol! I could justify the buck for a little diversity in my breeding program but I need to keep in mind that I need to keep space in the doe barn for keeper LaManchas as I'm working on those lines!!
Beautiful kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You do such a good job. My first "career" was canine midwifery and you have the gift for it, dogs, cats, goats, cows, whatever. You are calm, efficient, joyful, and capable. I love all the birthing smells (how weird am I?).
Oh I definitely understand that!! I love attending human births as well!! I'm not the midwife but I do offer homeopathic support!! I've got a human birth next month! 😍
that is awesome!!!!!!!!!! I always wished I had become a midwife!
They're both so pretty!! Thanks for sharing with us :)
Thank you!! Thanks for watching. I know I'm a crazy goat lady and I can only hope people are half as interested in them as I am, haha!! :)
@@SageandStoneHomestead hey, I was helping her push!
This was so fun to see!!
So thankful your mom sent me this link!!
I will be looking through all your videos.
I also told your mom to give you my email.
Hi George and Ingrid!!! Mom is so awesome for sending you my way!! I'll email you once she sends the address over to me, or you can email me directly too. My email is in the "about" section of the channel or in the description of the video!! Welcome to the channel!!
Gorgeous babies!!
Thanks Cathy!! Thanks for watching !
Thankyou for sharing.
Thanks for watching!!♡
He is seriously flashy ❤❤❤ they are both adorable 😊😊😊
Thank you!! Titus is so very loved!
I never tire of new life on the farm! ❤️ I will always remember the first kids I had born and a friend stopping right after so she got the most precious picture of a simultaneous kiss they gave me, one on each cheek. Precious memories. Enjoy!
What a special picture!! I got a similar video capture once but it was the mom goat on one side, me on the other, and baby in the middle!!
@@SageandStoneHomestead got a drain out this morning from sergury I had 2 weeks prior so I'm just chillin watching ur video of ur doe kidding lol this doesn't make me queasy but getting the drain out near the end there did go figure (I'm not 1 with a weak stomach) normally. So me feeling faint was a weird feeling.
@mistfall I can understand that! It's different when it's you!! Feel better!♡♡
@@SageandStoneHomestead I'm home just sore the precision who removed the drain was very gentle bless him tho clipping the suture pinched a bit funny enough I only grunted and said ouch the drain was bout 2 feet in length it went 2 where my gallbladder once laid under my liver my gallbladder was infected and had gallstones so it had 2 go.
Wow that's intense!!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Babies. Great Work.🎉❤
Thank you! 🤗
Spoiled goatie! She even has her very own heatlamp. Can tell she is really well taken care of.🥰
Thank you so much!!
That awkward moment when a goat is prettier than I'll ever be. 😳
So. Jealous. Of whoever gets those babies!
Thank you for sharing!
The boy is staying with me and the little girl went to her new family yesterday! ♡♡
Tears.
Happy tears I hope! ❤️🐐
new to your channel love the babys
Hello and welcome to the channel!! Thanks for watching!
They are beautiful, and look so healthy. She definitely is a good momma!
In my experience those pitiful pushes happen right before they start pushing for real, my mentor told me that is how their body moved them around inside.
Clara did that before pushing every baby when she had the quads.
Mocha did that too, but not Annabelle so who knows, it probably is unique response for each doe and circumstance.
Leave the barn in 20+ degrees would definitely keep me up at night😂
You are braver than me! I would have use a hair dryer just to be able to sleep! 😂
Such a drama queen I am 😂😊
Congrats!!!
I've seen the pitiful pushes before for sure but never for that long!! She just needed encouragement lol!!!
Oh and I don't have a hair dryer!! I need one just for goats!!!
@@SageandStoneHomestead 😂 the things we do for our herd ❤️🙈
Beautiful babies!!! Could you please list your music you played throughout the video. Thanks! ❤
"Capable of everything" by Daniel Gunnerson
"It really makes me wonder" by Loving Caliber
"You set my world on fire" By Loving Caliber
Thanks so much! 💕🥰
They are both just precious! Thank you for sharing that experience with us. What were the teas for, that you gave Pesky in the beginning?
They are for helping the uterus with effective contractions. Red raspberry leaf is a uterine tonic and comfrey helps soften and repair tissue. :)
@@SageandStoneHomestead Good to know!👍
Thanks for being here! ♡♡
@@SageandStoneHomestead My pleasure. 😁
Cute babies!
Side note: New subscriber here. It seems Google/RUclips, in their infinite wisdom, have removed the dates from all past videos. I was trying to binge watch your playlists and found the vids are not in order which was frustrating as one wants to see the progress of your farm and garden, not switch from one month ago gardening on the list to the next video being 2 years prior.
What?! Oh no why would they do that??? I'll have to see if there is a setting where I can manually order the playlist..thanks for filling me in!!
@@SageandStoneHomestead Please excuse my error. The month day year for each vid is still visible but only if you click on the description. Otherwise it states "6 months ago" or "2 years ago". However, it still requires you to do this for each playlist vid to see them in order. Sorry!
Ah okay, that's still confusing of them!
Why do some of the goats have little nubbins for ears? I’ve had that question forever but I’ve never asked before 😂❤❤
That's a great question!! We get that a lot! Those goats are a breed called LaMancha and they are born that Way! They were selectively bred over many years for many of their traits including the "gopher ear"!♡♡
You should see her her mouth @ the way she does her teeth all in one concept she already has her kids it was just really cute our King is coming soon his name is Jesus Northern California you're one of the best and I've been watching goat shows 4 over a year he just liked 2 of my therapist can keep me talking but some of them just they wasn't made for the job
Wasn't that a funny look on her face?? Thanks for watching!!
What did you spray in the umbilical cord?
Triodine! :)
Where are you located? Curious because of the temperature..
Southwestern KY. This birth was in November
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Sweet babies, huh?!
What’s the iodine for?
Drying out the cord to prevent bacteria traveling up there and making the baby get a condition called "joint ill".
@@SageandStoneHomestead ah ok. I have a Nigerian dwarf goat that will be giving birth soon also. That’s why I watched your video:) I guess I’ll have to buy some iodine. Is there anything else you recommend?
Yes! I have a video on my kidding kit here: some stuff is just "fluff", but you'll be able to determine what you need based on what I have here:
ruclips.net/video/Agi0XqXnLPQ/видео.html
@@SageandStoneHomestead thank you
Good video except the horrible music. Hade to mute.
Thanks for watching anyway!!!
I love watching baby goats being born, but background music/singing is annoying and distracting.
I understand a few people feel that way, but in trials audience retention is much better with music.
@@SageandStoneHomestead if you are giving a lecture, maybe. This is a video of a goat being born. We will either watch it or we won’t. It’s so distracting I can’t watch.
That's fine!! We do understand we can't please everyone and part of creating content is making content we ourselves also enjoy. No hard feelings!
Not wearing gloves
Not necessary.
Freeks me out when you don’t wear gloves!
Awe why? I'll do it if I have to go in and investigate
