We'll analyze Itachi Uchiha, Obito Uchiha, Pain, Konan, Kisame, Hidan, Kakuzu, Deidara, Sasori, and Zetsu, and rank all of them according to their strength. The Akatsuki power level will be determined for every core member of the organization during Naruto Shippuden.

The real reason why Obito got “tagged” is cause he was trying to protect Konan from killing herself he needed her alive to find the location of the rinnegan, it’s literally in the manga, though Konan is underrated

Obito had to use Izanagi when fighting Konan so yes he was taking her seriously
Obito wasn’t near Konan to teleport her he only got close because of Izanagi
Obito using izanagi only proves that he severely underestimated her. At first Obito wasn’t taking konan seriously but Konan had a shit load of prep time and made a little ocean out of paper Bombs. The paper bombs exploded for 10 minutes straight while obito can only use kamui 5 min straight. When obito was pushed to his limit with kamui he was forced to use izanagi. Then obito was like “I underestimated her.”
Soo just cause obito used izanagi doesn’t mean he didn’t underestimate her.
Konan had prep time( with prep time made the little ocean) and obito underestimated konan insanely.

Akatsuki is essentially a battle of “Who’s coming in 4th place?” Since Itachi, Obito and Pain are just that above everyone else.
Kisame is obviously fourth

His fight was supposed to be way longer but the editors told Kishimoto to wrap it up and so we got Naruto one hit KOing Kakazu instead of another drawn out fight that would have showcased how strong Naruto really was

Konan is definitely one of the stronger akatsuki members. She almost killed Obito with the rest of her chakra so she is very powerful when she has all those paper bombs. I know she isn't the strongest member but she is still way stronger than Deidara, Sasori and Kakuzu. I don't know about Kisame but she is one of the stronger akatsuki members.

They're literally one and the same, give them enough prep time and they can push some top tier Shinobi except diedara can easily release microscopic bombs that would cause konan to basically disappear into the wind forever and she has nothing that can do that. She's stronger than sasori, hidan, and zetsu for sure. Anybody else, it's arguable. I think hard counters her or has better feats. Kakazu fighting hashirama and living before having his 5 hearts is greater than anything konan has ever done. She had to prep a fucking sea of ocean to have a chance against Obito who isn't close to hashirama level
@@codyfacer2466 don't know how you can argue that she's weak when obito had to use a newly introduced cheat move to survive. if there were no izanagi obito would be dead. now normally i would just say that it's apart of his arsenal and you can't fault him for having it at his disposal, but this is a literal fight reset move, which is pretty cheesy plot armor.
Guys Kakuzu Fought the 1st Hokage and lived from it… I don’t think he’s 9th on the ranking more like 7th
I find it odd that while many ninja require some degree of prep time, such as Deidara needs to collect clay, Kakazu needs to collect strong hearts, and Sasori needs to build his puppets and coat all of his thousands of weapons in poison, but nobody scales these characters without their prep time, but with Konan, her jutsu seems to require her to make paper, but she gets scaled with no prep time, despite her likely having billions of paper bombs available until she used them on Obito.

Well thats beacause that particular jutsu was catered to Obito, whilst I do believe it was very viable and Obito is stronger than Itachi, that same jutsu would not work on Itachi due to Itachi's arsenal
Just like how Shikamaru's prep time for Hidan worked, that same prep would not work for someone weaker than Hidan i.e Zetsu
The only problem is that her prep time was specifically to fight 1 person. While everyone else you named "prep time" is not base on 1 person in mind. Konan prep specifically for Obito that's why she did so well while konan with no prep time lost to base jiraiya. Prep time matters especially if you're planning to fight specific person for example bc of prep time Sasuke and cho didn't die against sasori since Sasuke made an antidote. Without that sasori would have killed them multiple time.

I think for konan it largely depends on whether she can summon her paper reserves anywhere or if its specifically in that spot waiting for obito. While she was planning to kill obito, if she can summon billions of paper bombs and control them like she does with her other paper, then it should be included in her capabilities.
I think what a lot of people forget is that Sasori was at a big disatvantage during his fights. He was fighting Sakura, who got help from Sasori's grandma, who is an expert on puppetry.
And am I tripping? or right after Sasori dies, Sakura and Grandma Chiyo realize that Sasori ultimately didn't want to kill them when push came to shove? I remember Grandma Chiyo saying something to the effect that Sasori might have come back to his senses after seeing his parent puppets fighting to protect Grandma Chiyo.
If what I'm saying is true, then Deidara might be right, considering that Sasori became immortal due to his ability to transfer his puppet heart to infinity. And the fact that he just outright rejects Deidara's opinion on how strong Sasori is just because it doesn't fit his narrative sounds super arrogant to me.
I mean, if he is basing Sasori's strength on Chioy and Sakura's fight, then it would be fair to mention that Sasori ultimately did let them win. This might not change anything, but it's still worth mentioning.
I'm stunned that he forgot about that detail. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong since I watched it in French and the translation sometimes might be different, and it has also been years since I watched it.
However, I personally believe that most characters in Naruto are killable if you have good preparation and study all of their Jutsu secrets. And more importantly, the matchups between opponents, for example, Konan vs. Obito or Guy vs. Madara. When you think about it, although Deidara is really powerful, he couldn't do shit against lightning Jutsus.
So most of these rankings are ultimately just based on the timing and knowledge of the techniques of each opponent. To me, Jiraya would've beat pain if he knew his secret jutsus.

The fact that a group this powerful was assembled and was defeated is actually quite unbelievable
They fell victims to power scaling. At the start of Naruto, Pain alone would have easily defeated every Jinchuriki in a month. I really don’t get why they waited so long, if him, Kisame and Itachi showed up in Episode 1 they would have won before the first Chenin exams were over.
Well they were never fighting all at once.
Protagonism and plot armor. The Akatsuki are near Kage level, and you have members like Kakuzu who was supposed to be this insanely strong mysterious mercenary character with a tragic backstory, eho was strong enough to give Hashirama trouble. And he got severely nerfed in all his fights, losing to Jonin and Chunin

I think the strength of Hidan is persistence. He can't die, and he will try to hit you over and over again until he draws one drop of blood. Not saying his placement is wrong, but I think it's important to recognize that not dying makes it far easier to catch someone by surprise in your jutsu.

Immortality is impressive but harmless without any major hax. It is a good durability feat, but any major power gap makes it pointless.

Because his ability is too gimmicky.
The best part about his immortality is the surprise factor it has against people who don't know about it. I forget who it was against but at one point he took a blow that his opponent thought was fatal just to get them to close in so he could take their blood. That's pretty much all it's good for, and the faster/smarter characters likely wouldn't fall for it.
well of course jiriyah made konan seem weak. he trained her on how to use her powers. he knew her weakness.
I can't be the only one who thinks the 6 paths techniques is one of the strongest "amps" in Naruto... The possibility of controlling 6 bodies as if they were 1 is just insane
FINALLY SOMEONE who genuinely understands just how powerful konan is. She is insanely strong but is consistently looked over. I thank you for giving one of the cooler akatsuki members the acknowledgment she deserves

Kishimoto himself said outright he didn't (doesn't) know how to write good female characters, and you'll notice that there is not a single female character in the *entire* Naruto series that takes a pivotal role. This is UNHEARD OF for anime, and that alone tells you everything you need to know.
Don't forget that deidara's nano bombs are pretty strong.....only someone with a high level of skill or doujutsu would have been able to notice the bombs. Otherwise the person would have inhaled the microscopic bombs without even noticing them.
I can’t believe someone else actually understands how ridiculous konan is. One thing you forgot to mention about her sea of paper bombs is no matter how long it took her to make prep that…she still has to use chakra to control…how many billion again? 🤫

I think it's very easy to downplay Deidara on the basis that his biggest, all-out fight was against an opponent to whom he possessed an elemental weakness. He was literally hard-countered, trying to kill two stones with one bird, and still would have at least tied against Sasuke without interference. He can do some pretty crazy shit.
Sasuke would have moped deidara if he wanted, deidara could start the fight off with his 5km blast attack and would still lose

@@jamesfoxsmith he beat him by using his village as a way to have garra fighting/while using majority of his sand to protect his village, if deidara was to fight garra and shukaku in the desert or anywhere that’s not his village he wouldn’t have won so easy, legit he had his little clay things eat through sand that’s supposedly is connected via magnet release. It is why he didn’t need sasori

Jiraiya trained Konan, he knows the inherant weaknesses of her jutsu amd redally has access to counters. It's like playing battleship and you can see half of your opponents board.
So exactly like Chiyo vs Sasori then.
Deidara was my favourite Akatsuki member. Don't forget that he fought Gaara with zero assistance from Sasori. During that fight he lost an arm. And after that he evaded Naruto and Kakashi, and lost his other arm to kamui. He fought against an enraged Naruto with no arms, and then fought against the taijutsu ninjas of team Gai in close combat WITH NO ARMS, and then was able to actually kill entire team Gai + team Kakashi with his clone bomb if not for Kakashi's cheat kamui. It was his 3rd kamui which he shouldn't even have had the chakra for. This all happened in the same 2-3 hours. In his fight against Sasuke who was one of the strongest and fastest ninjas of the time,one of the protagonists,and also had the elemental affinity that countered Deidara, he actually killed Sasuke 3 times if not for plot armor/cheat codes. He was a long range fighter with explosives but he probably knew how to use numerous powerful earth-style jutsu aswell.
Finally someone recognizes how OP Konan and Deidara are. Explosives, flying, intangibility, range are OP. I was tired of hearing Sasori beats Deidara. Another thing is I know ppl wank Kakazu but he really is good, his loss vs Naruto feels very forced when you read it, Naruto did not deserve that win, but he still is bottom 3 Akatsuki in strength.

@@Naven251 the issue with that statement is that Deidara was trying to isolate Naruto to capture him and wanted rid of Kakashi, trying to make him leave to help Sakura and Chio is a fairly good way of getting what he wants lol

It always felt to me that the Sasori fight with Sakura was supposed to be done at a much later point where the power scaling made more sense.
Kishimoto had to write so many caveats to Chiyo and Sakura winning (Sasori let himself get killed, he wasn't trying, his poison being hard countered, etc) that it felt like this fight wasn't supposed to be happening at this point.
I also felt that maybe Kishimoto may have had intended to make some Akatsuki members stronger than they ended up being through statements and lore. But because he never gave them the feats in the story to match whatever he had intended, they end up being weaker than he wanted.

His point doesn't make sense Of course puppets would been destroyed by sakura's punch she's super strong physically. But when you take that out in the manga sakura couldn't avoid any of savory's attack without Chiyo.
There were SO many wasted characters in Naruto, if it wasn't so super team 7 heavy and had alil more world building and giving side characters proper screen time could be good but at the same time would've dragged out the story much more, I felt side characters were done really bad in Shippuden compared to part 1.
Naruto training with Jiraya could've been the perfect break from him to develop other characters kinda like that filler of his classmates Chunin exam, more stuff like that would've been great seeing more of Gaara and especially another jinchurki and seeing the side characters deal with the problems and not Naruto swooping in
Dygo underrate sasoris speed sasori blitzed sakura multiple times sakura only dogde iron sand block attacks. With third kazekages sword and multiple hand attacks, iron sand bullets, iron sand unleash jutsu (with this jutsu sasori injured sakura), rope attack and 100 with puppets (in the manga sakura destroy 1 puppet and than another puppet blitzed her) and than chiyo sacrifice one puppet to protect sakura and sakura use sealing jutsu with sasori and sasori dogde this attack too
So ı mean sasori is 5 times faster than sakura

The Only thing I actually disagree on this list is Deidara being above Konan
She was smarter than Deidara and had more ways to hit him and avoid his attacks than the opposite. The sheer destructive power that Deidara have does not compare to the difference in battle Intel

Deidara literally outsmarted Sasuke with a clay clone, this isn’t some random dude on the block, this is Sasuke we’re talking about. Someone of whom is known for using strategy in most if not all his battles lol. Cmon now. I don’t like Deidara in the slightest but to undermine his battle IQ is insane. Not to mention that his nano bombs alone stomps Konan. She has no counter.

Finally an Akatsuki ranking video I agree with! Especially Konan's placement. If anything, IMO you're slightly underrating her: Beyond her flight, phasing through physical attacks by separating into paper, and making blades and mix bombs into her attacks; she's also shown to be able to make animals and other objects with her paper (like Butterflies), which combined with bombs basically give her Deidera like abilities; she's seen using paper to wrap around people and cover things up and could maybe make objects like Gaara/Third Kazekage's sand; she's shown to re-connect herself with paper after physical injuries (after her kamikaze attack against Obito) similar to Orochimaru reconnecting himself with snakes, and she could also mix in sealing tags and summoning paper in with all of her abilities too in theory, not just bombs:
Imagine a swarm of paper where some of them are explosive, some form seals and create barriers around areas or lock you in place, some are summoning in weapons or animals or other allied fighters, and some are forming into blades or physical objects, all the while Konan is hundreds of meters in the air and is basically untouchable and can phase through attacks or reconnect herself as paper if she is injured. She's insanely versatile.
I do think that Kakazu, Sasori, and Pain are being slightly underrated, though, even if it doesn't actually change their placement:
Kakazu's strings/tentacles have a lot of versatility in their own right for long range attacks and traps and manipulating objects around him, his elemental jutsu is some of the largest scale examples of that in the series outside of Jiraya with Gamabunta, Kisame, the Biju, Obitio, and Madara; and being able to split into effectively multiple bodies further really aids in a fight to outmaneuver enemies.
With Sasori, I think it's a weird situation where in an "anti-personal" context, the sheer amount of ways and hazards he can throw your way to poison you is sort of crazy, and even people "stronger" then him I think would struggle to avoid getting nicked by at least one hit. But none of his abilities are particularly good at hitting with raw destructive power, and if there's a defensive tactic or entity that can block or is unaffected by the poison, his options are relatively limited (For example, Gaara would be a tough matchup for him, but on the flip side, I think Sasuke as when he fought Deidera would struggle vs Sasori).
With Pain, the main thing is that, like with Kakazu, having multiple bodies to attack from is a really powerful trait, and In regards to you saying he doesn't have a chance vs Obito the same way Itachi does, I think it would give Obito some trouble: Especially with their linked sight, as he goes to absorb one Pain into his Kamui dimension, the others could attack him in that moment. I don't think Pain would necessarily "win", we see Obito is quite good at backing off trying to attack or absorb somebody at the last second to phase through incoming attacks; but I do think that Obito would have a hard time winning and actually getting pains into his Kamui realm without taking hits. I think it'd be a stalemate, or Obito would win after taking some notable damage.
Again, I think the order is about the same (I'd put Kakazu above Zetsu, maybe, but that's about it), but just some additional points I thought were worth bringing up. If we're counting Orochimaru, I'd probably put him between Sasori and Konan?

Agree on the point regarding flight. The movility advantage flight grants a character is incredibly massive. You virtually become untouchble, and ur oponent has no way to cover all his angles and distances as u attack.
Idk I think Sasori was still being alil down played, in terms of his puppets I think is main source of power was the quantity not the durability of them especially with poisonous blades on them I don't think many non puppet users could make it through all that without a deadly scratch, his grandmother mother played a huge role in his defeat offensively, defensively, and emotionally. Sakura was pretty much has higher than average physical strength 💪 only weaker to high tier characters like kage lvl+(even some Kage don't have that kinda physical power like Mei for example) and characters more taijutsu focus.
Chiyo pretty much got Sakura close enough in the 1st place, she was pretty much the perfect support for Chiyo who was the only one who can counter him so well without just brute force.
I'm pretty they're other benefits to having a puppet body in battle like not being fatigued, being able to replace parts, maybe not affected by genjutsu potentially?
I kinda see Sasori as kinda like the "Assassin" of the group not the strongest especially not the most durable but has the most deadly strikes via his poison. We don't never got to see alot of Sasori to compare many feats like Deidara who been in many more fights.
I agree, even the iron sand was embedded with poison which makes him more dangerous... its like fighting both 3rd Kazekage and Sasori combined
And there is more: Sasori had so much more information about enemies than the other akatsuki members. The only person in the world who knows all about Sasori was the one to fight against him, which was his grandma. Any other opponent would have many more surprises and thus more chances to die.
Sasori was never really committed to the Akatsuki. He was ambivalent and confused by childhood grief. Gaara said you could never break one of the Akatsuki, but Sasori did break before he died because of his guilt. Because of his death wish, we never see Sasori go all out and he may even have suicided himself at the last moment against Chuyo. His full power was unknown. I believe Sasori was the youngest Chunin ever, even younger than Itachi.
Sasori never really went all out but I do feel like even if Deidara can break his Hiroko shell, Sasori can protect himself from most of his explosions with the third kazekage. And even if by SOME miracle Deidara takes that down once Sasori pulls out the red 100 puppets it’s over because then Sasori can swap between bodies if in danger and deidara would be too overwhelmed blowing one body up and then gets shredded by another that sneaks up on him. Sasori only died because he never expected to see his grandma again and when he did his humanity came back. He died because he wanted the mother and father puppets to kill him so he could finally feel the love of a family up to death since even as a kid, he couldn’t feel them hugging him because they werent there. He lived a life of a lie waiting for them to come home. Once he was killed by their puppet’s he felt at home knowing he’d join them
People forget that Chiyo was a ninja capable of fighting and living against Hanzo who is easily a kage level ninja too.
People downplay Konan because of the Jiraiya fight but he was her sensei so he likely already knew her weakness to oil.

I have a hard time believing that Kakuzu could fight and survive against Hashirama: The god of Shinobi. Especially seeing how he was defeated by Naruto and others.
Hashirama captured all the tailed beasts... All by himself. This is a huge power difference between Hashirama and Kakuzu.
We don't know anything about their fight, maybe it wasn't 1v1 and maybe Hashirama just let him go for some reason.

Based on what Kakashi said to Kakuzu, that the next generation will always be stronger, plus Madara was orginally supposed to be beaten by the five kages but because he was so popularar Kishimoto had to keep him alive, had he kept his original plan, this would have cemented that the newer generations were stronger

Bro really missed with kakazu. Kakashi was one of the strongest ninja in the series at that time and had help from 3 people and still lost. Needed the reinforcements to show up to save him and the others. Not to mention kakazu was weakened by losing his heart unexpectedly from hidan and kakazu straight up outclassed kakashi in hand to hand. And with the two tails it’s a very impressive feat. Naruto beat the 1 tailed inexperienced garraa with his 9 tailed beast doing all the work. Without the 9 tailed beast Naruto would’ve been killed by Garraa in like 5 minutes
It was also very annoying how he kept saying naruto "blitzed" kakuzu when the whole point of the second rasen shuriken was that naruto just outsmarted him with the clones. Each member of the Akatsuki could actually destroy an entire "country" in one night. Each would do it differently -- but all of them were certainly capable of MAJOR DESTRUCTION.
Some might think that Hidan would be incapable of such a feat but I'd disagree. The best and worst thing about Immortal Hidan was his unquenchable bloodthirst. If he had to kill everyone - one at a time - to destroy a country, he would be more than happy to do it.
Anyway. I wouldn't rank Sasori higher than Pein, Tobi, and Itachi but I think he could beat all other members fair and square.

Regarding Konan, there's something I always thought was interesting about her that only appears in the japanese version and not the english version. After she does her 600 billion paper bomb attack against Obito, in the japanese version she says something like "My Sacred Paper Emissary jutsu has become undone. I didn't think it would take his much chakra" and after she says that the paper flower in her hair goes away. There's no mention of it in the english version, but I noticed that after she says that, she's no longer in her "paper form" and she is only shown in her human form after that. Obito then stabs her, an attack that I don't believe would have done anything if she still had her "Sacred Paper Emissary" jutsu active. This always led me to believe that she is immune to physical attacks of any kind with that form as she literally takes basically no physical damage from anything when she is in her paper form and it's only after the jutsu is undone that she was physically stabbed by Obito. With the flower in her hair, and her Sacred Paper Emissary jutsu active, I believe she is literally immune to at least all physical attacks and though some jutsu, like water jutsu can effect her in that it makes her less maneuverable, I don't think she can actually take any meaningful damage while the jutsu is active.
The 'sacred paper emissary' jutsu is the 600 billion paper bombs jutsu she used. In japanese, the name of that jutsu is 'kami no shisha no jutsu' which basically translates to 'Paper person of God technique' . She was basically saying that the jutsu is done, and that it's completed, but she didn't expect it to take that much chakra. The ability that allows her to be immune to physical attacks is 'shikigami no mai' or 'dance of the shikigami'. They're different abilities
It's a different abbility, i suppose she ran out of chakra with the trap she put on Obito and didn't have enough to mantain her paper form, and with that making her vulnerable to normal attacks
I'm not a fan of the Sasori downplay but the love for Kisame makes up for that
Deidara had some of the most interesting fights with Konan that truly displayed how gruesomely smart and powerful the akatsuki is.
Kakuzu was draining the 2 and 3 tails before that fight not only that but he never got a chance to heal and he also fought the two tails so kakuzu never got to regenerate his strength. Not only that kakuzu was getting nerfed by his hearts destroyed, Kakuzu was able to survive a 5v1 as well.

So the iron sand would be enough for kakazu since it's stronger than Garra normal sand which was able to tank the Riakage attacks which was breaking Sasuke susanoo rib cage. Also the same attack that beat kakazu Cho while weaker was able to dodge it and that was kcm Naruto

The fights involving Sasori and Kakuzu are pretty controversial... Sasori was fighting against someone who knew his every move, which is ridiculous because the last rime Chio saw him was 20 years before, surely he should have known some things that she didn't. Also Sakura... At that point it seemed like she was stronger than Naruto and Sasukez. That fight should have happened later showing Sakura's growth in a more realistic way...
Kakuzu was basically one-shoted by Naruto but it was kinda dumb. The whole purpose of the 5 hearts thing was to not keep all of them in his body... If you do that, you just have all 5 transformations which is not that impressive against stronger opponents, it doesn't really make a difference if you shoot them with a fireball or lightning if they can just dodge it very fast or absorb it. Also some people say that Kakashi could have just kamuid his head off but that would be just too easy, why have the entire fight then? Why not do it against Tendo Pain? Yeah ok you end up in the hospital for a week but guess what... You don't die and save your whole village.

One thing I’ve never understood about Konan is that in order for her to understand that kamui lasts for five minutes straight at a time, this would mean that Obito in the past at some point would have had to been in such an inescapable position to where he would’ve had to use izanagi. She should’ve known about both in that case and yet it has never been mentioned before.
well, obito could still dodge, block, or receive the attack himself once 5 minutes had passed. Don't forget that almost half of his body is zetsu's clone, which is a powerfull in itself. Unless when 5 minutes passed, the attack is inexcapable and as powerful as conan's continous bombs, he won't use izanagi.
That's the same case as pain tendou, once the 5 seconds passed, he can just dodge or block the attack.
Or Obito simply just told her (correct me if I'm wrong though) since he didn't expect them to betray.
Or she simply notice it that after 5 minutes he had to become tangible due to a fight he had or something similar because i don't think Obito would share the secret of his technique to anyone

With all the different variables there is no way to truly say who would win, each character fights using strength and weaknesses to their own advantage,terrain also is a factor. So this must be a analysis on straight up head to head combat, no strategies or techniques used imo
How Konan fights wasn't depicted well enough. Imagine flying super fast and constantly spamming explosive papers (like a machine gun) at your enemy AND their dodge/run trajectory. I'd say she's stronger than Deidara, Deidara takes quite a bit of time to make his bombs, Konan can instantly make hers out of thin air and throw it at you. Konan may be able to escape Deidara's s*icide bomb as well, she knows about it and would take extra precaution.
Giving Konan prep time doesn't mean giving her 600 billion paper bombs, it means giving prep time to someone able to find a weakness in one of the most broken and subtle abilities in all of Naruto belonging to one of the most secretive characters in all of Naruto and then successfully exploit it. Name a ability that's trickier to counter than kamui, you can't. She killed someone who could turn intangible and teleport, and you think she can't figure out how to beat some fucking water? Explosives that are deactivated by their elemental counter? Eye contact? A cripple? Obito didn't win that fight, he lost it and won the rematch. As far as I'm concerned Obito and Konan are 1-1, sounds like a tie for first place to me.
If people complain about prep time then it should also be known that Naruto wouldn't have nearly been able to keep up with Pain without info

Fair reasoning, but I just believe most Akatsuki members in their final fights were delibirately nerfed by Kishimoto for plot reasons, like I refuse to believe that Sasori couldnt figure out a way to bolster his puppets defence, or how Kisame was betrayed by Samehada when he needed it the most, or how Deidara chose not to strategically retreat against Sasuke
When I knew that deidara was very powerful is when pain himself mourned his death, when hiddan, kakuzu and sasori died pain didn’t even feel bothered by it.
I think Sasori could easily be higher on this list, considering he knew a lot more about of his opponents and other akatsuki members than they knew about him. Having information about your enemies changes a lot in any fight. Sasori lost (and because he wanted to) to the only person in the world that knew almost everything about his fighting style and secrets, Chiyo. And of course there's Sakura, which is not one of the strongest, but one of the few in that universe that could survive his poison.
as for kakuzu, his attacks were not basic nature attacks, it was only said that they were of high level

Hidan + Konan OP team combo! Konan puts her papers all over the world to cut the opponent for blood (it is impossible to not get a paper cut on a piece of paper) then gives the blood to Hidan and its over. They could easy kill even Obito without much trouble.

Kakuzu vs Deidara would be a catastrophic. Just imagine Kakuzu's elemental blasts and Deidara's gigantic explosions going off everywhere. The entire landscape would be remade.
That said I can't imagine Kakuzu having an answer for C0 so that's probably where the fight would end (unless Kakuzu figures out they can be disarmed with Lightning Style like Sasuke did and he zaps himself with False Darkness).
Kakuzu surviving against Hashirama was probably due to Hashirama showing him mercy.
Sasori being hella downplayed, he had 298 Human Puppets (like the 3rd Kazekage) that he never got to use because of plot. Deidara knew his true power level, that's why he stated that Sasori is stronger than him. There's no way to prove that he was lying, even if you argue that he said it to shake Kakashi off, that doesn't mean he wasn't telling the truth. If someone like Deidara is ready to admit it, even in such circumstances, it's more likely true than not.
Sasori can shape the Iron Sand into anything he wants, it's stated in the databook, so defending against Deidara's bombs would be simple. If Deidara gets hit with 1 poisoned needle he's done for. Sasori is underrated af

I think hidan is a unique case as he's only kage level in taijutsu and doesn't have a normal jutsu however if you aren't aware of his abilities it's almost impossible to beat him in a 1v1. Only itachi was smart enough to figure out his abilities in time to beat him and he still has kakuzu to take the first hit. Even shikamaru couldn't figure out his powers in time to beat him and he's got a 200 IQ.
yea agree. And once your blood had been taken, you're done, no matter if you are intangible like konan or obito or having a defense like itachi, you're 99% dead. Except of course the remaining 1% being izanagi.

Deidara fought against gaara,lost his one arm,sealed him for 3 days but he still had chakra to keep fighting against Naruto,kakashi and team gai
Sasori fought kankuro,walk 1-2 days (sasori is wasting chakra while inside the hiruko because he needs chakra to move the puppet) then sealed gaara but he still had chakra to use big S rank jutsus
İtachi was sick,but he still use tsukiyomi,susanoo and other high level jutsus
Itachi was sick in his fight with sasake, that's why on some occasions in that fight it looked like his durability was very low.
If Pain summons all 10 of his creatures, leaving all the Pains on top of the Giant Bird and leaving Obito fighting all the other 9 creatures Obito would simply end up losing for lack of chakra.

There’s only one way Pain can defeat Obito. If Obito sucked in 3 paths of Pain. The other 3 pains fighting outside. Obito would just use Kamui to suck in his body parts to avoid the other pains. And the 3 other pains in the Kamui dimension would see his inside body parts being transported. Pain could just stab his body with the rods in the dimension. Like how Kakashi punched Obito’s body from inside the dimension.
This will only work if pain‘s body will not be shut down in another dimension. Which would completely work in his favor.

Pain's bodies need to receive Nagato's chakra in order to move. Obito's dimension is quite literally a different reality where the chakra receivers could receive nothing, thus the moment any Path of Pain gets sucked into it, it's done. Back to being an empty, motionless corpse.
That aside, Obito is the worst matchup for Pain in general, as he can phase through anything he does and go straight for Nagato's real body unimpeded.
It's an interesting power dynamic - Obito hard counters Pain, against whom Itachi would struggle, while Obito would have a difficult time with Itachi.
Obito just wouldn't be able to suck in Pain's bodies plain and simple
Pain will just summon the bodies from kamui dimension. Don’t forget that Nagato and Konan knew Obito’s secret of his ability.
@lexxnewton There is no evidence in canon that suggests summoning works across dimensions. Rather the opposite, as both Kamui and Sasuke's Rinnegan were essential in dimensional travel, which would've been trivialized if summoning was possible.
Hidan's strength is if his opponents don't know his abilities.

I agree with your ranking. I agree with Itachi being number 3 in terms of all rounded power. In straight duels 1vs1 I believe Itachi to be the strongest, like you said, he could probably defeat Obito without too much problem due to his broken dueling ability. I see Itachi struggling more against Pain, as he is not in a pure 1v1 anymore, but depending on the conditions of the fight he could win. But Pain has much more destructive/presence. Pain is a one man army that can solo a village , while Itachi is just a supreme duelist

Itachi don't have much jutsys to offer and they're mostly based on ninjitsy.obito is simply stronger,he have much more to offer, better durability,stamina,chakra receives,kamui.Lets not forget that Obito was near Madara's level in war
