9Flames 1st mission mines well look for Fugaku reanimate then slap on a 2ton genjutsu to get portions of 9 flames and bring out the Tobi playbook because you not just running up on Naruto he was itching for a fight at a moments notice back then.

Wasn't Hashirama dead by the time of the Akatsuki? The Akatsuki was created during and after the 2nd Great Shinobi war, but canonically Hashirama died during the first great Shinobi war. So, Kakuzu saying he fought Hashirama was probably him fighting before he joined the Akatsuki, when he was on his own.

Thats exactly how I felt when Obito told Sasuke to get the eight tails. Like he was trying to use Sasuke to get stronger but his first mission was to not only get a perfect jinchuuriki but the friggin eight tails. Sasuke died like 3 separate times during that fight and was saved each time by Suigetsu, Jugo, and Karin. And they still failed since they only got a tentacle, which is arguably more Obito's fault since he even he didn't figure out it was a clone until it was too late.

from what ive seen, the akatsuki wanted to keep a low profile until they had most of the jinchuriki captured, since they could easily capture one or two if they worked all at once but that would set off alarm bells that would have villages form alliances to take them down like what eventually happened. they needed to swoop in real fast and take jinchuriki before the villages caught on, which would take lots of planning and scattered forces.

Bro the Akatsuki was something else bro. They were just going out in groups of two just beating the strongest ninjas around and capturing tailed beasts with minimal effort. All of the ones who died before the war were jumped, fought someone who had the exact ability/power needed to beat them, fought naruto's plot armor, or basically died on purpose
