After paaner and aalu dish, it was besan k gatte (chickpea dish), kadi (chickpea and curd dish) followed by yellow daal. I'm glad you got to taste a Rajasthani thali. Please read about Rajasthan state and its history. I'm sure you will fall in love with it just like all the tourists coming in India.

That's a Rajasthani thali ( from the state of Rajasthan). Hence the name Rajasthali. Always start with dal/ baati churma. The starter is spiced buttermilk. It is to cool the palate if u feel food is too spicy. Rajasthani food is heavy on red chillies

India has huge diversity of in every area, crops, fish , spices , recipes. We cook 2000 different recipes in our lifetime in Goa and almost all Indians have huge diversity of recipes rotating the preparations instead of promoting a monoculture of food. All Indians love a wholesome traditional nutritious thali and never waste food. If anything remains make a parcel and take it home or donate to a charity distributing food. India believes in ancient Sanskrit saying अन्न हेच पूर्णब्रह्म ( Food represents the whole cosmos) and everyone visiting India must understand the profound spiritual dimension of our culinary diversity. We compliment and congratulate these visitors who have correctly represented the aesthetic side with lot of fun and joy and that's the right way to showcase world's greatest peaceful civilization India to the world wasting time in war and not in sharing food. Thanks for a positive projection of Rajsthali.

India is only country where VEGETARIAN means 110% pure veg....
We don't even use the same ladle for our vegetarian dishes which we use to make non vegetarian.
One some special occasion like puja preparations or नवरात्रि we don't use onion, garlic, too... Bcz we consider these vegetables toxic....
Here vegetarian means 110% pure authentic vegetarian..

Onion and garlic are toxic only to dogs and cats. I believe Hindus are not animal. They are good for human consumption and have many benefits. Garlic and onions are considered to be superfoods that contain many heart-protective benefits. Garlic and onions are allium vegetables, meaning that they contain high levels of organosulfur compounds which have been shown to reduce cholesterol and blood pressure.

West coast - Maharashtra, Goa, karnataka (mangalore), Kerala (all masters in veg and non veg)
East coast - Chennai (Tamil Nadu),
Telangana/Andhra - The famous Hyderabad Biryani
    Odisha - Vizag
    Bengal
And of course the North East
Each state has it's own beautiful and delicious cuisine and unique culture.

18:29 it is called Kheer,a sweet dish.
21:38 it is choorma, made of floor and can be eaten by itself or with daal. It is the part of very first dish/ curry that you tried
22:40 it is called Maal- pua. Puas are made of floor batter, deep fried in ghee and sweetened. There are different varieties available mostly around Rajasthan. It is purely a Rajasthani sweet.

Thali WOW ❤...the truest experience of any Indian cuisine...enjoy ❤...and buttermilk or "chhachh" as we call it, is a superhealthy probiotic yogurt drink which is made after churning yogurt for many hours and removing the butter from it. You should have it every morning, and also as many times as u want everyday ❤

9:20 their are many versions of thali. Not all are this elaborate. A regular thali generally has one dal, one or two curries, one or two sabji's , salad, papad, pickle, roti and rice and often a sweet dish and chaas . (a thali means what generally all indians cook as meals, in maharashtra our regular meals- i.e lunch and dinner- have a sabji, daal/curry, chapati/roti and rice everyday)

ahh yeeeaa, thats how its done. Congrad's on trying proper Rajasthani food.
    foods from Rajastan:
    You need to try out:
    Laal Maas and Romali roti
    Kachori (different types, Pyaaz, Mawa)
    Dal Bati Churma
    Mohan Maas
    Balushahi
    Gujia
    Badam Ka Halwa
and check out(places, there's is some real history in some of these places, need to check the palaces, and the forts):
    Jaipur
    Jodhpur
    Udaipur
    Jaisalmer
    Bikaner
    Chittosgarh
Also each state will have some fantastic dishes... they have their signature, local dishes. The north mainly has lots of vegetarian options, the south will have some great meat options. What state are you checking out next?

Good comment but with as usual few incorrect information. Gujia recipe is not Rajasthani Sweet dish however originated in Uttar Pradesh State of India and even Indian style Doughnut recipe-Balushahi is not Rajasthani cuisine but from Bihar State of India. Secondly, name of this historical heritage City from Rajasthan is Chittorgarh and not Chittosgarh. 😄 😄 Forts and Palaces not just exist in the mentioned places by you, however in every City and Small Town of Rajasthan there forts, palaces, Havelis and Historical monuments. Some worth visiting Cities and tourist destinations in Rajasthan State you missed out are Mount Abu, Dhaulpur, Dungarpur, Nagaur, Banswara, Bhainsrogarh, 2nd Longest Fort in the World and The Great Wall of India - Kumbhalgarh, Ranthambore, Pokhran, Alwar, Pushkar, Bharatpur, Kota and Bundi. Traveling in Rajasthan during summer ☀️ season is kinda landing on Mars. Jokes apart. It's too hot 🔥 to handle. Best month to explore Rajasthan State begins from August To February.

@@bobbyeapen6049: bro, another Incorrect information you mention- Badam halwa is also not Rajasthani Sweet dish. It is a Tamil dish from Tamil Nadu State in India, also very popular in Hyderabad City of Telengana State, due to Nizam monarchicial legecy. It's Moong Dal ka halwa, authentic traditional Rajasthani Sweet dish. Other than that, some Popular Rajasthani Sweet dessert, which originated in this State are Chenna Malpua, Churma Ladoo, Dilkushar, Doodhiya Kheench, Rabri Ghewar and Mawa Mishri.

@@dr.sachidulalchanda3134 I didn't claim to know all the dishes and its history. I just pulled a random website and it indicated as such. Anyways, what do you mean usual... like are you a the foot soldier of the vegetarian alliance?
I don't see you putting any effort in actually helping out folks on what to eat and see in your own country, hence you see foreigners trying and doing rando things.

Well, South Indian cuisines are also available in North of India, that doesn't mean suggesting any traveler to eat authentic South Indian dishes in North and vice versa 😀 You write comment from some incorrect website. Personally I have travelled these places. Go through my comment I have mentioned many authentic traditional Rajasthani Sweet dessert. I remember yours epic funny comment suggesting vegan from everywhere vlogger eating Puri at Puri City. 😆 hope you travel across India and write factually correct information from authentic website 😄 @@bobbyeapen6049
