    Perhaps you could draw this , showing the angles and direction the forces are flowing. I have experienced what you are explaining David. But the people from different schools I have practised with and been greatly disappointed by their skill is beyond words. They don’t seem to have been taught properly.

      @@wingchun-simplekungfu7584 don’t think that I have the technical know how to do that, I’m afraid, but hopefully we’ve made it clear how the structures should line up to achieve the desired result. Sadly, I agree with you that many practitioners don’t seem to have been taught these concepts and rely far too much on upper body strength rather than structural integrity.
