In Egypt (north african Sahara), we learnt the hard way how to travel with our bikes: (1) never solo, you can never know when you need the extra hand or spare gas from another (2) avoid water bodies like the plague; quicksand (we call it "Sabkha") can be lot worse than you experienced, it's always near water and it's not easy to spot. Your Albanian friends did what we don't do, get a car near Sabkha and risk getting it in worse situation (cars are incredibly hard to pull out of sabkha for several winches and snatches pulling together). (3) ADV must be taking different routes unlike dirt bikes. It has never been about flattnes, but about momentum and handling. Yasser Elshayeb (may he RIP) was a legend with his GS on the dunes with paddle tires, crossing crests and making jumps with other 450s, but his genius was he would choose his crests to cross at his speed and taking his own routes and not same as dirt bikes. If your fans didn't heed those rules (learnt the hard way), they might not be as lucky as you were
Very well done, both editing but especially the riding - tough terrain. Adventure is to manage the unknown - no comfort zones here 😅 The reward is the quicksand, I mean the dirty gear… no wait… the Coca Cola!! Although a solo adventure, it’s like we’re with you; you’ll never ride alone. Amazing trip, amazing content, bring on part 2!! 👏
I had similar issue with my Desert X - I stuck in a deep puddle on Polish TET - only tow truck was able to get it out from the forest: ruclips.net/video/OjY3Gz3isOM/видео.html - it is good that air filter is in the top… I really like this video and story telling 🎉
