- Stay tuned for the second competition of the #FWT23 in Ordino Arcalis, Andorra! The competition is confirmed for Thursday, February 2nd at 9:20AM CET.
Following an explosive event in Spain, the FWT heads to neighboring Andorra for the second stop of the season. FWT organizers have decided to extend the event window by considering a possible competition day on Thursday, February 2.
This is primarily due to the weather forecast, with a forecasted increase in temperature over the weekend. This makes Thursday and Friday the best possible days to consider for the greatest chance of optimizing snow and weather conditions and, ultimately, offering the safest environment for freeriding.

you legend
Thx mate ❤
🐐
You rock
Holy crap you just did that
Marcus Goguen what a Ski diamond,18 years old and such a great and sick run 👏💪
Was excited to see what he could do, did not disappoint. I think he will be the tour champion some day.
Congrats to Valle Reiner, you honoured your friend in a beautiful manner.
If I may ask, who are you referring to?
Apparently his friend died in an avalanche just a few days ago. Valle dedicated his win to him.
@@gillesparmentier1414 there was an avalanche accident in Japan with one of his friends involved.
As a snowboarder I watch FWT for the skiers and I fucking love it. For boards we got Natural Selection.
I mean first of all its nice that nobody got hurt. Congrats to Valle, so nice he won a stop, it is really a bittersweet win for him, such a sad story, Rest in peace to his friend!
I think judging was fine overall, personally i have the Podium in a different order, but i dont really know the judging criteria so its hard to understand the reasoning. Goduen had the best Comeback in a run i ever saw, so fun to watch! Honestly still was kinda surprised about his score with that crash. Maximes run was insane as well, cant really understand were he lost so many points. And Ross overall just super clean and stylish, really liked his run.
Ski Men starts at around 2:27:00
You’re a hero
THE category
The men's skiers in this event had some of the best men's ski runs I've seen. Every competitor was pushing for first. Such a cool venue with all the features and different line options.
Marcus Goguen so young and already Mad Skills , , Way of the Future !
Marcus Goguen!!!!!! Holy shit!!!
Hey FWT I think I can speak for everyone when is say this just isn't the same as last year. It was so fun too see riders throw down amazing lines and get great scores and really control and style and fluidity just doesn't matter that much it has turned into a strict sport with to many nit picks and rules it needs to go back to being free and ski how they like with freedom and send. please read this and consider deducting the amount of impact control and style has on a run.
my standout run from this was leif mumma. not really that crazy but his style of turns between hits has me so ready to see what else he has in store
Yeah i love his turns as well!
Beyond words. Awesome. My jaw drops every single time
Maxime Chablox run was defenetly over 90
I mean he did almost the same run as the year before and it wasn’t as steep/ gnarr as the others. Also a control issue at the top. So i get where you are coming from but i think the judging is fair. Just like max hitzig did an amazing run with beautiful airs but didn’t podium because if his fluidity… would argue that finn bilous should have podium though
At least a 95..!!!
not really. If you look at just the numbers of rotations sure but his technique wasn't as stylish his 7 was low amplitude and the double backie was kinda wild. and some of the massive backies we saw from the other riders at speed and off harder takeoffs are more technical than a double
@@rydenkaye9735 dub backie still more risk and consequence and harder overall nd its a dub back
@@saxonski6146 no actually a massive single backie at high speed off a negative slope takeoff is harder higher risk and more consequence . specifically from this comp the one at 2:58:15 if you mess that one up you're taking a way harder hit, its more tech because of the negative slope takeoff,
Bilous should've been podium
bruuuutaallly lucky, Abel. Thank your Guardian Angel...High Risk Play.." We must constantly weigh the possible gains, against the possible loses.". Peace. B.N.W.
Refreshing to see agressive turns from Leif!
Finns run was so sick
Clean and progressive, should have been awarded!
Yeah I’d say at least 3rd with like 86 points
Has one of the most distinct styles on the tour. So fun to watch. Looks like he's just having fun skiing too.
Abel went nuts and he should've stayed on his feet. He was looking for a win which is super awesome!
Top men's ski. You decide!
2:39:36 Ross Tester
3:05:43 Valentin Rainer
3:33:44 Max Palm (honourable mention)
3:37:25 Maxime Shabloz
3:25:41 Finn Bilous
2:57:11 Marcus Goguen (honourable mention)
Any of these. I think what make them stand out is the fluidity and hugeness from riding the baseline without all the speed checks. When they smoothly link feature after feature it's the best. I think Maxime Shabloz, Tester, or Rainer. All were amazing. If Goguen didn't have the sit down, his would have been in contention.
@@durhrhrhrur goguen's run was sick but he had a crash and a back slap.
Anna Orlova!!! We are with you!!!
We all want Lilly healthy and back in the lineup, but for the love of jebus get her back in the booth if she isn't! What a natural!!
Abel Moga as usual one of the best 👍💪👏😁
Top 5 ski men were crazy good! But Valentin Rainer deserved the win, so beautiful he could do it for his friend!
MAXIMEEEE!!!!!!
Maaaaaarcus run wtf so good
I really don´t like the judging...seems arbitrary and unclear. There has to be a more objective way to do it so viewers can understand the decisions.
Still great athletes and amazing riding.
Love Lily is in the commentator booth
Suggestion: make the judging cutoff closer than the gates (like they do in the Japan event). It sucks watching guys fall on the flats.
If you can ride the face. Ride the flat
Победу отдали за друга , истинный победитель этого этапа Шаблоз (Maxime Chabloz Championed 🥇)👍🏻
Скоро Гоген всех надирать будет.
Fire the judges right now get the last years ones maxime was number one 100%
what in the fark ...sick
Как же мощно раздал Росс Тестер
As much as I loved Marcus's run, how did it score that high with the crash? In the last event, Finn had a slight bobble and seemingly got docked more than Marcus did.
Finn and Maxime got robbed
Finn Bilous robbed again
So many tricks, switch on course, a perfect mix of new school and old, and every hit CLEAN. He was robbed.
Chabloz should've been second IMO
Finn got screwed.
Everybody on board with repeating tricks in the same run is ok???
Max getting a 60 and Maxine getting lower than a 90 😡😡
yeah cuz max palm crashed in the bottom part, clear case of partying too early :-D
Why he was crying valentin rainer ?
Lost a friend in an avalanche two days before. Rest in Peace ✌️
Rip :(
Abel mogo gunning for head damage 😂
finn robed again
Max is austrian not german wtf?
Derek said he is competing under the German flag this year
@@yetigonecrazy but last time in spain he was riding the austrian flag down.
@@lordsarcasm3620 not sure what to tell you mate, I just know what Derek tells me on the broadcast
need to change judges 😏
Never send those moves in 7 years
No way didn’t get 93
Finn
Wow they really gave max palm a 60? Straight up dumb
How about some new commentators???
Bring back Neil!!!!
Finn not getting a podium here is a travesty and Marcus goguen easily the most mind blowing backflip I’ve seen with his f**king goggles on his neck!!!!
Chabloz robbed
Lfg molly
Can the male commentator be replaced? If not can he let the others talk for a second.
snowboarding looks so uncomfortable and clumsy compared to skiing.... no elegance...
Snowboarding was born to surf in deep snow, that we used to have back in the 90s…
finn got robbed
kk
Valentin Rainer 🫶🙌🏻🤝❤
Anna Orlova!!! We are with you!!!
