I very much agree with you. I understand and appreciate the fact that this is a video meant to be light-hearted, and I fully respect that.
However, my personal opinion is that this whole Yishun lore is getting bad. I fail to see how Yishun is the equivalent of Ohio.
I was living in Yishun for nearly a decade and had to move out due to financial constraints. My experience living in Yishun was super. Great food places, amenities and highly accessible. Nothing really bad that I witnessed, actually.
In conclusion, Yishun is just your typical town and housing estate. Just like the likes of Bishan, Tampines, Bukit Panjang, Jurong East, Woodlands etc.
Hence, I really do hope we could put a limit to this Yishun lore. I am not against occasionally poking fun, but it shouldn’t go overboard. It should be within limits.
If you have read this lengthy - lengthy considering the short attention span of the average person in this day and age - reply of mine, I thank you, and I hope you could understand where I am coming from.
