I remember reading about this case in the papers. Apparently one time, the guy was locked in the room by the girlfriend and given a plastic bag to use as a toilet. That added to his humiliation, hatred and resentment towards her.
That could just be a defense which he made up to justify the murder. The woman could be very materialistic & uncaring & he felt slighted that’s why he killed her. The other things he brought up might just be exaggerated statements unless corroborated with other sources.

His story about him and his wife having "consentual sex" is highly unlikely. Let's just go with statistics & the psychology of killers, psychopaths or serial killers. Many of cases like this, the murderer had either forced sex on the victim right before or during killing them, and some had intercourse with the victims body AFTER the killing rampage. It's a part of the humiliation they want to give back to the victim, for taunting & embarrassing him. But mostly, it's a form of dominance, to finally have "control" over the victim. The wife/victim already hated him by that point. The odds of her willingly sweet talking & enticing the man to have sex with her, is highly unlikely. He was probably just scared forensics would find seman in her, so he purposely came forward with the story that his wife had lured him into having sex right before he ended up going on a murderous rampage.

Many of cases like this, the murderer had either forced sex on the victim right before or during killing them, and some had intercourse with the victims body AFTER the killing rampage.
It's a part of the humiliation they want to give back to the victim, for taunting & embarrassing him. But mostly, it's a form of dominance, to finally have "control" over the victim.

A crazy frenzy killer can be very difficult to be overpowered by 2 just awoken women. I think the mother was too shocked and didn't think much but to survive by climbing out of the window.

The mother probably hoped that the killer wouldn’t see her hanging outside the flat but yea that was pretty dumb honestly. Hiding in the toilet isn’t so bad, locking yourself in gives you time to call the police ig but apparently the girl didn’t :/. I think it’s basically impossible for those two poor ladies to come out unscathed.
