Everybody told me that this was not possible, and I shouldn’t buy the portal for a primary or secondary controller. I’m glad I’m stubborn and have the money to do so. I purchased a PS five and a portal anyway.. my portal shows up today, but I have my PS five still in the box and has been waiting for The portal to show up.
Works beautifully. The only thing I can’t use it on is when viewing apps that deal with movies. Other than that, I don’t have any issues. Even though I don’t play with people, I may purchase a second portal for a second controller should a video game I like about to play with someone in my house. I very seldom use the original controller.
Im thinking of getting a ps portal i have one question its pretty stupid but i keep worrying about it if i have a ps5 and net do i still need a tv for the ps portal like will the games be streamed from the tv because if im using the portal I wouldnt want the tv on 😅
Hey hey! Not a stupid question! You don’t need your tv on as the ps5 console streams to your portal , my monitor is always off when I’m using my portal! Hope this helps!

@@BaryonMode-Gear5thI am Indian too. I am giving a thought to buying this too... But just a point that if this has streaming services like Netflix,amazon prime then it would have been a no brainer for me. Exclusively, remote play only.... I am still not too sure about it for that price
@@animaxenglish3704 yea same for this price i should just go for a white sleek looking nintendo switch that would be just way better i mean no way this thing is worth 30k people are complaining about it being 200$ in the us here its even more nintendo switch is way better even if its games are pricier atleast it runs on its own hardware

Can you turn off the screen on the portal so if you’re both watching the tv it’s not a distraction?
Unfortunately no.

I don't think it's that much of a distraction. unless you're in the habit of looking down at your button when you press them.

Why would you want to use the portal ?
Just adds more value to the PSP, because at least it has more significant purpose, especially if you only had 1 controller to start with.
So it can't be a second controller? Only the first controller...
