- I fancied playing with the OG Sims 1 family so that I could see what the Goths have been up to for the last 24 years. Their house is as chaotic as I remember it being.

i have no idea how I played this as a child and was able to keep sims alive. i try and do it now and i myself have a mental breakdown within 10 minutes because everyone is dying
The first time I played when I was 10, Bella started cooking, the stove caught fire and she died, all that in less than 5 minutes of gameplay
The sims 1 sims are SO hard to keep their needs up without any cheats
I was momentarily enraged you didn’t name the baby Alexander but then I heard “Cassan-bro” and I decided I’ll allow it
The Sims 1 really feels like a fever dream

TS1 is so chaotic, in the best way.🤩 I grew up with TS1 and loved it, also absolutely love TS2 and all of it's chaos and lore.❤️
aaand that's probably why I think of TS4 as a children's game, it's just so vanilla..Years and years of development and where is the chaos?!😬
I was excited for the sims 4 when it first came out, then was just outraged when I did finally play it 😅 especially by the long loading screen just to visit my next door neighbour. I haven’t seen any play throughs that tempt me to try it again.
The national firefighting budget is spent on the Goths household alone.
The reason S1 is iconic exactly because of this controlled chaos and mysterious, borderline creepy vibes. Love to play the game even nowadays
I still remember me and my sister always have a paper of magic cheats right on our PC desk! so when we’re on a magic duels we always win since we knew the cheats! ❤ how memorable!😅😂

i started watching you bc i was looking for sims 1 gameplays! so happy to see how much you've grown and how confident you are now :)
I grew up playing this, and while i eventually branched out to sims2, this was my undisputed favourite for years. And because of that, every time sims3/4 players go to sims2 amd say it's hard, I'm just here flabbergasted like "but Sims2 is so easy!". This chaotic game is why. Sims2 is a breeze after a few decades of this chaos. 😂

so long since I actually played this never used to play the goths, cassandra used to get orphaned a lot cos I'd make mortimer and bella die on another lot since they're always the first visitors that show up elsewhere

It’s always so funny to me watching people playing with or talking about the Goth family because I share the same name as the iconic Cassandra Goth. I never hear RUclipsrs etc saying my name so It’s weird but funny lol. Fun fact! The Goth surname in the Swedish version is “Spökh” which directly translates to “Ghosth” 💀

fun fact the first sim I ever killed was Cassandra goth in the sims 2... I was 6 years old and the grim reaper coming (the music and his whole freaky vibe) scared me SO BAD that it became a genuine fear of the grim reaper that lasted until I was like 10 LMAO
