Liked the foldable idea at the end with GeForce now. Underrated for these kinds of games. I'm playing Ratchet an Clank on Parsec with my own computer everywhere I go. If the wifi is good enough it's pretty unbeatable. But not hotels or spots traveling have good wifi so not a great mobile option still in my experience but we are getting there. Loved all the detail you've added with all the modes and your own thought process. It's from a users perspective and what the user experience is going to be. Liked the format. Thanks 😊
When you said you wished the graphics could change to keep a stable frame rate, isn't that called dynamic resolution? I'm a noob who just bought a steam deck and learning about all the features and stuff. I've never had a gaming pc, only basic consoles like ps4.
Is it bad that I can tell the Geforce Now streaming is more compressed and has worse input lag than the native Steam Deck experience? Streaming is like watching a video of the game no matter how good the bandwidth. Not for me.
dang idk it looks insanely good to me.. I play on a 42 inch 10 bit OLED at 120fps 4k max specs and it looks AMAZING. i have wired fiber internet and to be honestly it's pretty insane about 4ms latency (so less than lots of people native monitors) if you really look you can sometimes tell its compressed but you really have to be looking for it. I live next to a server so i think others who live further away doesn't matter how fast your internet is you will have latency. Ill need to do a screen record because the steam deck doesn't even come close to how good it runs and looks on GFN hahah.
If it’s struggling to reach 30 fps in Ultra, I don’t understand your logic in limiting the frame rate to 30Hz to “get more power”…? That’s not how GPUs work…
i would bet the steam deck 2 will have a longer battery life than most if not any handheld pc. But we will have to wait a while to find out they are not in a rush to make a SD 2.
@@jaxzor Valve has stated they won’t rush to release another device, believing it’s unfair to consumers when manufacturers push out a new model every year. bro.. the OLED Steam Deck native resolution is 800p... i got you. literally the first test at 0:40 is what your asking for native resolution at low settings. I only tested 720p one time at the end.
While filming, I realized it was on FSR 1 and it looked terrible, so I went back and changed it. After rewatching my raw footage, I switched to FSR 2.2 Balanced but cut that part out of the edit. I promise, FSR 1 looks so bad that you could easily tell, haha. This is 100% FSR 2.2 Balanced with Medium settings.
All tests are irrelevant without Act 3
Yep, this video is pointless. Santiago has a video where he goes through act 3 and all the other actual performance heavy parts of the game.
@@thechoseone456 yeah I value only his performance reviews for SD👍
it is the top played game on steam deck even if not super great in some place
The real test btw is act 3
@@nisargjhatakia5844 yeah I mentioned that in the video 🤙🏼
It's hard to judge what's the best way to play. I just want the game to look good while keeping the FPS between 45-60.
probably high 800p,thats what I amm gonna use
yeah only can get so much watching videos but hopefully its helpful. The Ally X might be a better option for 45-60 better quality
@@nophacetech У Ally X есть свои минусы!!
Wow wth did this game get some new updates? Looks super optimized compared to when it first came out
yeah it's playing pretty great on the deck. Im sure in that one part later in the game it would dip but i'm not complaining :D
I remember when I got to act 2 it would have a hard time running but now I can get back into it because of this thank you.
