Use lifepo4 batteries. Does your electricity supplier have cheaper rates during night time? That’s the way it is here in Ontario Canada. It’s 1/3 rd price during off grid hours. So I built a battery bank, I charge it during nighttime and run my home off batteries during daytime and evening. There is more than 1 way to skin a cat.
Not really, all those boards had overcharge protection and balanced charging, you can rely on power from the grid and Risk and explosion there, which by the way would be a lot bigger (Chernobyl)
