Hello friends, This is very cool project to make 12v lithium ion battery pack using lithium battery cell without spot welding and soldering. This battery will gives you 15Amp capacity but output 300Watt output at a time. This is very simple to make just follow all the step and make your own battery pack.
Components :
1) Lithium Battery 2500mah 3C :roboman.in/utwc
2) Lithium Battery 2600mah 3C :roboman.in/mmab
3) 3S 40 Amp BMS : roboman.in/c0vj

Welcome
That battery casing idea was seriously impressive lol
Why?
@@easytechzones Because yeah, for me, using a huge pipe and molding it into a battery shape was impressive because you were thinking out of the box, for once I thought you used a UPS battery but I was surprised lol
I have made this type of battery for my bike with BMS Bord last year still works good
Amazing , you can put capacity led indicator as well
Custom made battery. A very good project!
Great work. You have an eye for details
Excellent work and easy to make it. 👌👌
These cell holders are NOT meant for making battery packs. For stationary applications its not too dangerous but for a mobile application these are unacceptable. Even for a stationary application the reason why we don't use these cell holders is because of resistance. The contacts have so much resistance that you cannot safely draw anything more than a few amps from cells in these cell holders. Jehu Garcia learned this the hard way when designing his PCB boards (which have many safety features built in that make them at least usable for low draw applications that are stationary). He had to test a bunch of cell holders and find ones that provided the least resistance and I think now he has a low drain and medium drain option.
I have a video on my channel showing you what the resistance is of these cell holder contacts and which ones are the best or the worst.
Excellent analysis. Now I understand why my power bank(power bank case purchased at Amazon & battery placed) is not working as the batteries are to be placed in spring holders.
Wow..... good point about the heat! How does this thing charge? Is it a reverse voltage across the two contacts? Ia that how the BMS board's work?
I have such small battery cases. 1 5V and another 12 V. It is ok for small amp. They give 50% current of normal Powerbank but depending of the use, it can be enough and useful. Camping, emergency, radio, lamp, Bluetooth. Even fan. Will not use it for such a project. Maybe such cases with pure copper exist ?
Tuyệt vời và xin cám ơn.
Cái mà tôi đang muốn làm.
Ammazing idea. Thanks for posting...
Excellent job done
AWESOME JOB, CONGRATULATIONS..

Beautiful work!
Truly inspirational... made easy! Thank you for sharing; got me subscribed for more & thumbs UP!
Nice info, thanks :)
very interesting I liked it a lot😱😳😳😳
A suggestion, use a hacksaw to slot the negative terminal, and cross the positive terminal bolt outlets.
Very good 🫡🙏 output & input 🤔
Super Bro..Thanks
It is very new Technic 🙏
well done dude
Nice video sir,
Very nicely experience
Thanks.
Welcome
Hey I like that pipe to box , brill' idea 👍
Waaa beautiful Idea......😅😅😅
Good job.
Very nice video
That was excellent
very nice idea
good work I really liked
Thanks
Thanks!
Welcome
Excellent tutorial, nice build, very effective and excellent specification.
One slight concern. Why only crimp the internal ring tag connectors,? It would be better to solder them and sleeve them for stability and current capacity.
Solder would be the best option. And if I might add, a better quality crimped fitting would have been the preferred option. Must confess though that the built is great and I shall try a similar battery but with a three times four cell containers like these. Still, great job.
Very good, well done. But there is something that should be taking in consideration: Output terminals (See minute 8:55) must be soldered but not crimped because in case of a high current demanding by any load, it can create problems in these teminals. So, my rating is 4.7⭐
Same You I Was Thinking That He Should Sold Both Clips.
And never crimp isolation
I used to think same as you guys but the accepted method and preferred over soldering is "crimping" the connectors. I do think however that his crimping was not of best quality. Oversized crimps for his gauge wire for one and the crimp itself was not ideal.
lol, on high current that crap bms will shut down (trip) and in order to make the trip over you need to either charge it or disassemble it. In most of the videos all of these people doing such stuff knows nothing about it. He built the battery without knowing what battery is.
Crimping is always preferred. Crimping is always superior.
And when I say crimping I'm talking about with a real crimping tool.
Good explanation, useful. Keep it up
Thanks a lot
Good MAKING 👍 👍 👍
Thanks
Before all packed in 3S5P LiOn 18650 in minutes 4:15, I sugest you perform Top Balance ,all paralel then charge at 4.2 Volt.
Cool ,solid work,…….❤
Thanks ✌️
Worrying when you don't even know the difference between Amps and Ampere-Hours.
They are not the same.
We don't measure battery capacity in amps, it's measured in either Ampere-Hours (Ah) or in Watt-Hours (Wh).
Nice 👍👍
Dynamo Dresden oder BVB Power Bank, super geil 😀👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍😀
Very nice.
Thanks, but what is the most sufficient way to charge it? we have to monitor heat and current, right?
Mantap sekali
looks professional in doing,, can i buy it ?
nice 👍
Super Awe Video 🎉
amazing work
Thanks a lot!
super 👍
I love your vid.
video excellent !
Many thanks!
Wonderful ❤
Thanks
Nice 👍👏😊
Thanks
Can ask the quastion can i use the Ebike battery 12v 25ah on my Spot Welder DIY Kit 99 Gears of Power Adjustable Spots Welding Control Board for Welding the 18650 Battery?
Contact resistance may be a problem resulting in overheating of batteries and power losses.
Could be dangerous in certain situations. Soldering or spotwelding of contacts should be the way.
Well done
Thanks
thx
Nice bro
Very Nice Video
Thanks
Very well done with all the necessary steps for a beginner. I saw many videos like this one but without all the steps such as where to connect the BMS to the batteries...
Liked and subscribed. Can you make some videos about how to make a normal power banks for 20 Amps or even 30 Amps for home and another powerbank with a small solar cell for charging it ? With all the steps, what kind of cells to add, including what kind of 5 v charging module to use and how to connect it with BMS and maybe with a small module which shows the Volts, amps maybe and/or the percentage of the available power/charging ? Thank you.
Oh, with normal charging at 2.1 A or 2.4 A , no need for 3 A quick charge.
All the best, master, your idea is genius, well done 👍👍👍
Fantastic
Good video man
One thing i wanna ask, if i buy 18650 with the capacity of 1200mAh, how much i need to make 12Ah and how to put it together?
Thanks!!
This is perfect
Thanks
Possible to use in my 12volts 21000 rpm 750 gearbox??how many loads can make it?
nice idea man, i was always thinking how to setup without spot welding.. will buy these holders..
Needed phone number please
Without links to the actual holder and controller I can't make it. Where do I find them and what model?
Can it be done without a bms
No soldering hmmmm ok
You need to change those wire because that can't handle 15 amps if you draw that much and make some ventilation hole in cabinet /outer shell because as you use li-ion get heat up also bms so if you don't want a fire hazards make some holes
Overall it was awesome project and you did it great
300W claimed power - about 25Amps
Title also says WITHOUT soldering…….plenty of soldering there
How are you preventing the loosening of the cells in the holders from thermal cycling. And, how do you prevent oxidation of the battery connections over time?
He used cell holders with steel leaf springs, I doubt he cares about any of that. He didn't even charge/discharge all the cells to the same voltage prior to connecting them. Some of them got one hell of a charging current for a couple seconds.
All battery voltage >3.7V? Why? As long as the cell isn't below its minimum discharge voltage its safe to use
What you need to do is put all the cells at the same voltage before connecting any in parallel and to make balancing easier do the same before series connecting.
Imagine the charging currents some of these cells received when you hooked them up in parallel. Can only wonder what the balance was like for the first 20 cycles until the BMS was able to get anywhere sorting that out with limited balance current
what did you usew for the backing when you started, what are the plastic holderzs glued to
sections of flattened PVC pipe, like he used for the case.
GOOD JOB I NEED READY MADE ONE WHAT WILL BE THE COST WITH POSTAL CHARGES ???
Good b.
I love the idea but it shouldn't be used in cars, motorbikes etc since those cells aren't very well secured which spot welding or soldering would make them
Har ek box ka battery parallel me connect hai uske bad 3ko ek Sath series connection kiye ho kya
you said you will do it without soldering
Beautifully done, thank you, but how can I charge the battery pack and what charger can I use, is any 12 Volt charger suitable for this, for example a car charger?
No
Super 💗
Thankyou
I thought you said no soldering, anyway I Iike the way it's put together so well and a rugged construction
Very nice Brother but as New comer I just want to know how to charge this 12 v battery .You didnt showed that. Will you please advice
Excellent work ....but waht about charging with the same nails + and - .
yes
Good ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good job, but we're not shown how to charge it when it's finished
