- In this video I tell the story of my 2nd and 3rd hip surgeries. I’m using this just as place to keep everything in one place so I have something to look back on in the future. There will be one final part to this video, and in it I will talk about my 4th and (hopefully) final hip surgery I had on my left hip.

Glad it could be done via all the holes used. All of mine have meant surgical scars.
You are awesome big bear
Love you!
2 of my scars have been anterior (front), the rest posterior (rear).
I had a total hip replacement at age 45 six weeks ago. More than pleased with the outcome. Hopefully, it will last. Swimming is fine, walking no problem, and some more higher impact activities seem to be in reach in just a few month. Maybe you should consider a hip replacement at some point. Anterior approach and ceramic seem to be the way to go
Wow, how is your hip going? So glad you're pleased!
Pls help me hip joint replacement after legs not equal one leg then another leg 1 centimeters short and the short will be fixed
Oh I'm so sorry that's happened! I hope it gets fixed soon! 💓

Thank you for sharing your story! My husband has had the same first FAI failed surgery and he is 28 now.. surgery was 10 years ago and I'm looking into moving forward from it.
Just curious, did insurance cover the majority of your 2nd and 3rd surgery?
Best of luck to you and your husband! It’s so stressful so can imagine how tough it is for you guys! I was very fortunate to have my insurance cover the surgeries! 🥺
Hi Tilly, I had hip labral tear repair and then reconstruction both failed… now doctors can’t figure out if I need a periacetabular ostentomy or a hip replacement, it’s been a year trying to get help and a solution to my situation with a lot of pain… can you please let me know how to contact your surgeon in Melbourne? Thanks
The surgeons I worked with were at the Melbourne Orthopedic Group 🩷 I hope you find someone who can help you 🥺
Thank you so much ❤
May I ask who was your surgeon in Melbourne?
I always have retroverted hips and was borderline between arthroscopic or pao surgery but doctor said I had enough global coverage so he went with arthroscopic, I don’t know what that means.😂
I also*
Oh my gosh! Have you finished up your surgery? I hope it went well for you!
Hi I'm right hip
Your right hip has problems? 🤔 that’s not good if so! I hope you find some relief soon!
