The best video , best way explained. No drama , no music, no styling. This is what i call proper video to watch. Please make more videos on POLO TSI. I have GT TSI
Thank you for the comment, I appreciate the kind words and the support. Yes primary videos will be of the polo build. I will have a few other DIY car videos here and there. I have break callipers next on the list 😍 I'm aiming for at least one video of the polo build a month and the other car videos as they come.
Thank you Gian, definitely adding that to the list, will need to go that within the next 2-3videos. I'm not sure if I want to swap the rear bumper out for a 6r bumper then add a nice big Diffuser. I like the flow the number plate area has on them ,not the biggest fan on the current rear number plate area shape. Very boxed off. Dream body kit would be a wrc kit but super expensive here in Aus. Those are the dreams but starting point will definitely have to be a Diffuser on the polo. I'll possibly do a DIY Diffuser and see how it turns out.
Good Day, My Taillight left died and the single replacement one from the VW Dealer is more expensive than these V-Land Lights. So im looking for long Term Experience with these. On the Internet some people say they arnt reliable. Hows your Experience with them? Still statisfied? Thanks in advance :)
I can’t manage to screw in the tail light when installing it? Idk if the tail light is not centred properly but I’ve spent nearly an hour trying to screw in one tail light. Any suggestions would be much appreciated
Oh man I know what you mean this happened to me when doing my rear bumper install video. I found that I needed to push the plastic screw in harder and twist at the same time. Almost as if the screw is to short.... If you push the screw harder into the car. Compressing the spring it should grab on.
how has long term use been with these tail lights? im considering to buy them for my polo but curious have thee been any sort of issues for example have they gotten loose, do they sit flush and the main 1 have any of the light shortage?
Hey man I am supper happy with them. No problems at all. The only problem I had with them is after install my specific ones slightly touch my boot so when you close the boot they make a plastic click noise other then that they are awesome
Hi brother! Awesome video, what year is your Polo? I'm looking for the same tail light for my Polo 2020 (Mexico version) and just I need to be sure that will fix perfectly
Hi bro, got those today. i have an issue with one taillight, when i use the winker the whole light is blinking while the other one is blinking as it supposed to. can you help with that?
Hey man thankyou for the comment. I think one of the plugs might be plugged in incorrectly if that doesn't fix the problem see if any wires are loose. If that is still not the problem and the oem light works correctly. I'd contact vland for a replacement
Oh yes you definitely need a pair it changes the cars look significantly. If you do buy a pair, they do come with a harness that will fit on your 1.2tsi mk5. I purchased a set of v land headlights last week and they arrived on Wednesday. They require a few modifications to the wiring to work on the 1.2tsi mk5 but I will cover that in the installation video.
Hi there thank you for the comment. Only one side has a reverse light which threw me off the first time I saw it. So if only one side comes on that is normal. (Left rear). If neither side comes on, maybe check that the wires from the light have been pulled through the hole in the car properly. When installing i realised that the likely hood of pinching the wires between the light and the car when tightening the white screw is very likely. If your wires are not pinched, then I would trouble shoot the harness. I would test the old rear left tail light. Re-install the OEM light. If your reverse light comes on. Then its a fault in the new Vland tail light, I would contact the seller and ask for a new set as that one is faulty. If the old OEM light doesn't come on then it could be your wiring harness on the cars side. I hope this helps.
I haven't made a video on the exhaust yet. I'm planning on doing performance mods as soon as the mody is done. I have a few more videos to come before the body is complete. I still want to De-badge, tint front windows, v land headlights, finish difuser set up, front bumper , front splitter and side skirts, sequential turn signals/ mirrors, and aftermarket rims and tyres. Then performance mods I'm looking at remap stage one, exhaust upgrade, blow valve, and hopefully by then I will be making a little bit of money from youtube to help fund the build. Idea is to se ehow far we can push the 1.2 l engine performance wise then engine swap to a 1.8t engine 😀. Have you done an exhaust upgrade on your car polo?
ebay.us/FrCFDy Thank you for watching the video, this is the ebay link I used to purchase my tail lights, I had problems with headlight stock with these guys, so purchased my headlights from another ebay store.

Looks great man keep it up
Keen for the next video, Polo is looking sexy with the Ottinger spoiler. Should have that video posted in 2 weeks
Looking good but you lost all reflectors on the back - since 6c would have them in the bumper with the 6r some safety is gone..
nice job, polo looks way more better with this tail lights
Thank you, I can't agree more. They suit the polos very good.
i would love to see them on a black polo one 👀
Oh man I wish our polo was black or a nice gray 😍
