Katie, Katie! I LOVED this style of vlogging that you created! Definitely keep this up and definitely keep us updated on how your exhibition goes this Sunday! I'm so excited for you and I wish I were in your country to be there to support you and to love on your accomplishments while you're there! I'm so proud of you!
So lovely to watch! For those of us thousands of miles from the UK, could you do some behind the scenes filming at the exhibition and meet up by any chance? Always love watching you work, it's so inspiring.
I was so fun to watch all your prep, and see the countryside around your area! thanks for sharing , I'm sure it will be a fun time for everyone, its such a great time of the year to display your lovely flowers, may you have many sales:) !!!!
This was a joy to watch! Also super happy for your exhibition coming up. You're so calming to listen to and to watch paint, truly inspiring. Best of luck lady!
This is my first time to your channel and your paintings are soo beautiful!! Good luck on you show and meet up. I would come but I'm in the US - California to be exact.
Good luck with the exhibition! Wish I could come. Good to see the pre exhibition procedure thanks. Long time since I had an exhibition and looking forward to that day again!
I actually own this same easel (looks exactly the same!) & the trick to keeping it stable is to tighten the patooties out of it! I love you & what you do. Well done
I have the same easel! It collapses for me sometimes, too. I like the storage drawer though

Please do some tutorials on white flowers of various kinds. Roses, dahlias, ranunculi, daisies etc…. Loved this one. But have a huge time creating the shadows so the white shines through. Mine get lost.
3:52 I hear George Ezra in the background, I love Shotgun sooo much!!! Also Katie I absolutely love your vlogs, they are so cute and inspiring! It makes me want to create art even more
Hi Katie, while running 🏃 I was wondering how do you make this amazing videos? 😍maybe you could give us sometime some ideas? I started to paint last year and would be amazing to learn this, Love, love!
Really enjoyed watching thank you was hoping to come and see you in person but sadly unable to. Maybe another time. Hope it all goes well for you Katie I’m sure it will be a huge success xx😍
Hello. Previous summer was amazing in England. Got similar easel. Bought it barely used for some ridiculous money. Mabef, as far as remember. Quite handy. Where and when is palnned next exibition? Best wishes.
O my goodness I have that easel!!!! That is my only, and first easel!! It's good but a pain to put together, but it's really strong and I made a really good deer painting with it! Hope you have a great time with it! God bless!!
Sadly I’m not yet in England when you have your meet up, I’m going there for vacation on the 13th so I just missed it, however I think I could probably see your exhibition
I love your paintings Katie, and your tutorials are fun and easy to follow. Do you varnish your paintings before selling them, and if so, what with? Thank you for your help.
When will we get another tutorial soon? You haven't done a new one in a while. Probably after your exhibition? Your flowers are amazing is that the theme of your exhibition?
Thank you for your wonderful videos - so useful as I've never used acrylics before. You are so talented! In your video tutorials you keep mentioning your "description box", but I don't know how to access it. Can you let me know?
Lynn Ede m not sure Lynn? Nothing stamped on it, and I haven't got the box!! Have had mine about two years and it's grand. Got it from the Range in England. Katei might know if she kept box if she's just got it. Sorry I can't help more👍🏼😉
How many of one painting do you make? I've always wondered with people that sell like 500 of one painting. Is there a way you can just print what the original one looks like on other canvases? Thank you!
Have you tried using a glass palette? I noticed that you cover you're palette with cling film (and I'm assuming you replace it after use). With a glass palette, you can just scrape off dried paint with a glass scraper after spraying it with some water, and use the piece of glass again. It doesn't need to be an expensive glass palette, many artists just use glass from a picture frame. It's much more convenient, in my opinion!
Great vlog...your work is fabulous, the colours and texture are beautiful, wish you everg success wifh the exhibition and that you make lots of pennies 💰🎨
What type of paint do u use? I'm just curious because of all the beautiful textures in your paintings? Or do you just layer a lot or use painting knifes?
Hi Katie-how exciting! I might have missed this, but is this your first gallery show, or have you done this before? I’m also interested if you are a self taught artist or if you went to university for an art degree? Love your work 🌹❤️
Also I have a question: do you wash off / clean off paint from your palette? Because I recently got one and am not sure what to do and I want to make sure I’m doing the right thing
I use glass and it’s so much easier than anything else I’ve tried. I went into a store that was closing/ liquidating, the glass used to be a shelf in a display fixture. $2 sold.
You asked us - your audience - how we feel inspired? I work in a different job apart from the art. In the evening I draw and colour and listen: to amazing and inspiring artists like you.
On day oil you pleas show us how you put the backs on your canvases and also maybe how to prepare paintings for competitions. I’m not unhappy with your content in any way, just an idea
I’m the same colouring as you but I live in Queensland Australia - it’s the middle of winter and it’s 22 degrees Celsius hahahaha It gets up to 38 in summer :)
It made me laugh at your English 24 degrees. Australian weather is gorgeous for us at 32.... it’s winter here right now and my car is set at 27 degrees. 😂🤣
What a delightful video. One useful tip for painting a trellis.... choose the same colour as the grass. Hope Sunday is enjoyable and fun....
I love your vlogs, Katie! You're so inspiring 💕 Wishing you the best with your exhibition coming soon!

You are a wonderful woman Katie, filled with talent! I love your job !! one of your French admirers Sylvie@
Aww thank you Sylvie 😄
Add some rubber washers to the legs. I got a half box and that is what I did so that legs wouldn't slide so easily. Hope this helps.
When will we get another tutorial soon? You haven't done a new one in a while. Probably after your exhibition? Your flowers are amazing is that the theme of your exhibition?

I usually use a glass palette which I use a scraper with 👍🏻 or a plastic one and the paint peels off
I use glass and it’s so much easier than anything else I’ve tried. I went into a store that was closing/ liquidating, the glass used to be a shelf in a display fixture. $2 sold.
