Think Sainte-Chapelle (Paris). So only having the small windows work on rounded walls may be a nod to realism here. Still, kinda lame we got no rose windows in the pack. It isn't like we're overburdened with round windows in the sims 4.

Even FILLING it with plants and having a reading nook ❤

I’m a Canadian and I’ve spent 100’s on packs because I liked what I seen with in her builds! We pay 60$ for a game pack! 14.99 and then 6.99! For what sometimes she says is too expensive! Hah! Go Kayla Go! They otta give her a cut! I’m just on console!
Round walls tip: if you run into that problem where you place an object in a round area and then can't grab it again, change the walls view so that the walls are completely down/hidden. It'll work again that way.
To be fair, in one of my uni classes, the auditorium was so old some ivy branches *did* break through 😂 I got emotionally invested in a little guy I saw grow throughout the years... then they cut it all down 😞
Ivy is incredibly destructive to buildings (as is evidenced by it breaking through) so unfortunately sometimes cutting it all down is the only option to stop your whole building coming down. Unchecked ivy can cause structural damage as well as aesthetic/surface damage. You especially don't want that happening if the building is old and potentially historic architecture 🤷🏻♀️
I love how the source of all her stress is the fact that the build is too small so there's no space for anything without trying to use the circular rooms but not once did Kayla think about make it bigger or getting rid of the towers 😂😂😂😂

I say we do another community vote and get the Sims team to give us spiral staircases for the round walls. I'm surprised they didn't think of that for the castle kit, because most fantasy castles have spiral staircases.
Tips for the vines: Mix and match the different colours together so that it looks purposeful that there's a bunch of different shades of green, this is kinda required if you wanna use multiple packs cause gods forbid EA reuses a colour. Also, don't be afraid to size them down a bunch and layer them on top of each other. Basically do what Kayla was doing but a bit more and it'll fix the "it's all the same thing a dozen times" issue she mentioned.

The saddest thing sims4 did to the supernatural pack was split up all the super naturals into their own individual pack 🥺 I loved being a fairy in sims 3 . 😅 manifesting Fairies! Sometime soon.. I hope. Still great themed build. I prefer the customization part of sims only because I can’t do architecture on sims despite it aligning with my day job 😂 so watching others build really helps. 😅
btw yall, if you really want fairies I can not recommend the Fairies v Witches mod by Spinning Plumbobs. it's basegame compatible and packed full of content, like basically a whole pack.

As a fan of techwear fashion i LOVE that EA start exploring the theme of buckles, harnesses, and a bunch of strings, like laces, mesh zippers things like that.... except goth is not exactly my cup of tea. I would love them having more of the oversize streetwear/ techwear options.. or maybe a new similar to the sims 3 into the future vibe

A lot of the roof ornaments and decorations specifically for the roof from get together and vampires and cottage of living would look great on most castles because for that small castle on the top that chunky weird fence used it looks too chunky for this type of castle. Get together has a roof ornament that's nice and slender but looks similar to the fence that you used on the roof in the beginning in the catalog the first swatch is black and it would give it a more delicate fairy look
You know the inside is rough because of the shape (tho honestly you pulled it better off than anyone else could tbh), but the outside of so so beautiful!!! It fits the fairy vibes perfectly and makes me want fairies even more!!!!

the pack has a lot of uses, imo. Sure, the obvious answer is castles and gothic manors. But the build tools also work well for churches, libraries, old government buildings, museums, mausoleums, and dilapidated ruins.
I have a theory. I think that EA watches Kayla's vids and every single time she has a disclaimer that this pack isn't happening and it's all pretend, they go ahead and make the pack just to spite her.
It's also like you can't furnish a castle without castle things. 😅 my main problem with the pack was that it was just a pack. You build a castle...now what? There aren't clothes or even furniture that fit the castle theme.
