To be honest, you got me in the first half. I was assuming you would have gone with the typical "just let kids have fun". Instead the message seems to be "lead by example". I do however believe we don't need to choose - we need both leading by example and teach the teenagers
My ideal goal would be the divorce/breakup rate to be lowered to 20%, leaving room for "fault/high conflict" reasons for separation. In some social circles my husband and I are the only "intact family" and adult children of divorce have actually thanked us as being hope for themselves that marriage is possible. The thing is we never actually say anything, but as grown adults they see clearly what love is supposed to look like. You can't legislate your way to a lower divorce/separation rate, it has to be done organically (even anecdotally) over time.
Ok so I think cheating is a bad thing, I get that.... I don't understand why you aren't advocating for everyone to have these values? Do you just mean to mind your own business and just work on yourself? I'm also questioning what your definition of pure is? I don't think of pure people being so judgmental, arrogant, and they definitely don't use the word "pussy". That's why I don't really think being perfectly pure really exists because its this slippery slope of what standard are you going for?
