- Bike ride on Trolley line road in Jaldapara National Park area on the way to Totopara Ballalguri in Madarihat. In this video we go from NH 31(c) near Torsa river bridge to Totopara Ballalguri village via the trolley line road, which is also a jungle safari route of the Jaldapara National Park (earlier Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary). The journey is an amazing experience in itself as we ride through the deep jungles of Jaldapara, Titi forest and encounter wild elephants on the way and witness the mating dance of a peacock standing on the road.

Bike in the video is a Hero Honda super splendor (regular engine, hand tuned) nothing special. Tobe suspension ta valo / strong hole better. Ar 150 mm ground clearance minimum.
Rasta ta pro kharap noy.. tai regular bike is enough for this ride..

Well technically Yes, you can.

Is bike rent available in jaldapara?
Unfortunately, bike rent is not readily available in this region.
But if you ask your hotel/resort they might manage one.
Is Any special permit needed?
Not really, people if Totopara and Ballalguri village use it often when the main road gets blocked due to floods.
Technically one should have a permit from the forest department. But in reality locals are allowed to pass.. and tourists also often use this road to reach Ballalguri and Totopara while going from Hasimara. ( No checking is done anywhere actually)

This road is fine, intact during monsoon, at times this is the only road to totopara that is open .

This road shown in the video is open to locals.
Core forest is closed to public vehicles.
You can only visit there by jungle safari
