Thataylaa~ That just proves jus how cool and sweet you really are; to mention another RUclipsr.... is just so refreshing!! I do love her (Stephanie Nicole) videos too, yall both put forth sooo much time, effort, and energy into your videos!! So glad to see your channel growing, you definitely deserve it!
I'm a fellow pale princess, but I have dry skin - like snake skin dry sometimes & I live in a hot state (not always a great combo). But, the NYX White Pro Foundation mixer works really well for me. Just in case anyone with dry skin was curious :)
I have the same problem so I started to use Maybelline's Fit Me! Dewy & Smooth in 110 Porcelain and add the LA Girl she mentions above. The Dewy & Smooth for some reason is waayy darker than the Matte & Poreless. I'll have to try the NYX - thanks for the recommendation!
humanponygirl I have really dry skin and I really like the la girl one. I've used it with my bareminerals bb cream, loreal pro glow, and urban decay naked skin and works wonders. 👌
Hi Taylor, if you can't figure out if the foundation is water or silicone based, try mixing a small amount of the product with water. If it dissolves and the pigments leach into the water, it is water based. If it is silicone based, it will not dissolve at all.
I have dark skin and definitely don't need a white mixer lol, but I still could not wait to watch this video. Taylor, you are a Queen 👑 love your videos 💕
violetfarierocks I think this can be useful for us too, if nothing else it for lightening our summer foundations! I want to use my nars sheer glow but it's too dark (but the right undertone) so i'm curious about this video too :)

Thank you so much for including whether or not products are cruelty free! Sometimes, I'll watch a video and constantly pause so I can look up whether or not products I'm interested in is cruelty free. This definitely makes my life easier!
You can't just throw around "maple donut" and expect me not to get in my car and go get a dozen maple donuts. I can feel Jillian Michaels frowning at me.
THANK YOU! I have not seen anyone even do a video like this before. I've always had the biggest struggle trying to find my shade because I didn't know that mixers were a thing. And, that there are inexpensive options. You just saved me from the perpetual orange skin. I'm a subscriber after this video.
While I know this is pre-mature since 15 days of foundation just ended, but I was wondering if next time along with shirts if we could also have mugs. I've been needing a new mug and I would love for it the money to go to a good cause!
I've already found my holy grail drugstore foundation, and I'm not super pale (I match the lightest shades of most). I quickly became obsessed with your videos even though I don't really need the info. Signs of a quality RUclipsr.
I only wish these had been around 10 years ago! Brands in general started making their foundations darker about 10 years ago when tanning and bronzing really took off. Purchasing foundation for those of us who are pale became a nightmare. I discovered Mehron and they have a white shade so that became my solution to lighten up foundation. But these bottled and dropper mixes are a life saver! :)
I truly enjoy that you seem so approachable and personable, I take your advice when purchasing more make up over other larger influencers. It is very appreciated
All I can say is I am so fortunate to be one of your subscribers. You have continued to be incredibly professional and research the products thoroughly before presenting them to us. I just know that when you have a million subscribers, I can say I knew you when... I am older and newer to You Tube, and I am happy to say you were the first person I subscribed to!!!!
I'm way too dark for this video to be remotely applicable to me but I legit just love listening and learning from your videos, doesn't hurt that your voice is strangely relaxing 😂
This is the first video of yours that I've seen and can I just say that I usually get super annoyed by makeup tutorials but yours are fast, to the point, very descriptive and your voice is so NOT annoying! You seem like a super genuine gal who doesn't babble on and isn't annoying. So sad it took me this long to find you!
I'm going to refer all my subscribers to this video every time they ask about white mixers! You totally nailed it and it was a perfect video!!! I do have one extra option you might want to look into as well, because it works so well for me: Illamasqua Skin Base 01 - it's full coverage & a nice thick consistency like the old manic panic :) Thanks so much for your amazing work Tay x
This video has saved me from throwing out a few foundations because they are a little too dark. I have self tanned a few times, but I hate the smell of any self tanners I have tried and, like you, I've come to like the color of my skin...*plus...we don't wrinkle and sunspot as easily ;) * Also, thank you for all of your dedication and attention to detail when reviewing products. I've found yours to be the most helpful when choosing what I purchase for my type of skin.
I used to own a maybelline 2n1 foundation where the container has a foundation on the left and a primer on the right. The pump has 2 holes to separate the two, and the primer was silky white while the foundation was 2 shades darker than my skintone. Though when I mixed it, it blend to an okay shade of my skin color but sadly maybelline doesn't make these things anymore.
I've been using the Illamasqua white skin base foundation as a mixer and don't have problems with it. I have a tube of the NYX mixer on standby for when I need a new mixer. I'm glad they are gaining popularity, because a white mixer allows me to use formulas that I otherwise couldn't. It's not white, but the MUFE yellow water based mixer drops have been very handy, since lots of very fair foundations run pink.
Taylor I like your channel so much that I sat through that State Farm "is this my car?" ad, which is basically the most annoying ad ever. Thank you for doing white mixers! More than worth my 30 seconds of ad-watching for all the time and research you put into this! 🖤🌯💰
Seriously your videos are so well thought out, the amount of work you put in these videos r amazing! I love you and your videos so much! I also love how u used korean brands in ur video and really got out there. There r so many youtubers who don't reach out of their comfort zone while they only talk about the same things over and over again.
Kryolan TV Paintstick (I think that's what it's called) in 00 (or maybe 01?). You just use a little with your stick foundations. I haven't used it in a very long time, but I used to like it back when white concealer wasn't a thing.
I'll probably repost this on a more current video but I really enjoy your videos and watching them makes me feel better some how. I'm in the hospital and have been for rather a long time. I appreciate how well thought out your videos are and that you attention to pale skin instead of trying to cover it up with darker foundation. Just thank you
Also with the manic panic mixer, since you got it off amazon it's possible it's fake. I don't know how many time I've bought stuff off amazon and it ended up being fake. Try buying it off their website and see if its different.
Hannah E. I just bought manic panic off Amazon a few weeks ago and it's the thicker formula. I feel like this was either a bunch of dud products people got or fakes
Love the fact that you are so informative with the research and testing you do, I wish more of the beauty gurus that started out like this would continue to be persistent on teaching and showing us this type of information. Love your videos, thank you for being you 💕💕
For years I've been using lightners by Maycheer it's a Korean brand. They make a white , pink lavender and green. They also make a super pale foundation that the bottle looks like a pill 💊lol. Great video 🦄🦄
Omg! Thank you for making this video! I've been wanting to get a white foundation mixer because I'm super pale like you but had no clue as to which one I should try.
I can't imagine how much work went into this video! So informative! You truly are one of the most dedicated, hard working RUclipsrs out there. Keep it up! We all luv ya!
As far as the White stick foundation goes, you should try the Makeup forever ultra HD stick foundation in the shade 100 White! Check their official website!
The wait is finally over! I cannot wait to see which ones you like the best because I trust your opinion. I need a white mixer because I too am a pale princess. 👸 🍎🍎🍎🍎
So interesting that you're using the Missha BB as a white mixer! Those specks in the formula are little capsules that break as you're applying the BB Cream and turn the BB Cream into a more beige colour that "should" adjust to your own skin tone (but never does) so I'm surprised that it's effective as a mixer. I feel bad for getting rid of my one now! 😂
I first came to your channel a year ago when you came out with your super pale girl foundation video with the manic panic foundation. I will agree with you that they've definitely changed their formula sometime in the past year, enough so that I've stopped buying it. However, a lot of brands have started selling foundation shades light enough that I don't have to mix in a lightener now. Thanks for another fantastic video, well researched!
Oh my goodness, THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this video!!! I've purchased so many foundations hoping they'd be light enough, and they never were, and I am only getting paler, so it's wonderful to know there's a way to still use all these products!
I don't know how many of the comments you have time to read, and but this has got to be the single most informative and helpful video I have ever seen pertaining to makeup. My skin tone is like yours, so I try to lighten a lot of things, and I will definitely be buying a white mixer you reviewed. All this brings me to one question though, I wonder if it would be possible for you to do a video dedicated to acne treating makeup. Like, for example, the foundation Neutrogena makes that contains 2% salicylic acid. I would just be so curious to see what you've come across that actually helps heal while you wear it.
It's super important to pair a foundation and primer as well, and the rule of thumb that's worked pretty well for me is following the first couple of ingredients - if the first one's water, then it's likely going to be water based and then if it's one of the silicones, obviously, it's likely to be silicone based; I'm now thinking that might not be completely true, LOL but it's worked pretty well for me! This is something I really wish beauty channels would go more in depth on.. I've said primers were a sham for ages, because I kept getting samples that I'd see recommended on here and they weren't suited to my foundation, which made it slide all over the place. When I was learning makeup, and going through high school / my early twenties, primers weren't a 'thing' like they are now. Eventually I did figure it out, after getting super annoyed with yet another bad makeup day and going in on the research. There's literally like three or four videos on here that are solely about how important it is that you pair your base makeup well. It doesn't do me much good to find a primer that's good for oily skin, if it's not a good pair with my foundation. Eugh, sorry, rant over.. I was thrilled to see you explain this a bit, though! I would love to see a video more on that actually, going in and explaining a bit - I had to kinda figure it out myself, and I'm still not too clear on it!!
I can't thank you enough for making this video! It's so amazing to have someone out there who "gets it". You've really helped me embrace my pale skin and find products that complement my complexion. ❤️❤️❤️ so much love
I just found you channel and I love your tips for us super pale girls! I used to have to mix white clown make-up in my foundations back in the day to lighten it up. I still can’t believe the options available now.
The manic panic one never mixed with any of my foundations (old formula) and made any foundation go on so patchy no matter if I used primer or not or a brush or sponge 😩I wish I had better luck with it like everyone else
I agree about Illamasqua's Skin Base being a not great foundation but using the white SB as a mixer is perfection. You barely need any and it mixes great with most foundations. Would recommend.
I use white mixer from LA Girl to do exactly as you said: take my summer foundation to winter. My favorite is Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-In-1 Foundation + Concealer. It covers amazing so I didn’t want to run out & buy a new one. Oh! You’re using it toooo! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much for this video! I am super pale and have the NYX white mixer and had absolutely no idea the technicalities of it. I've seen a couple not that great videos regarding white mixers that gave me no added information. You are the best.
Taylor!! You HAVE to try out the freedom makeup pro artist concealer in white. it makes your undereyes look super smooth and lasts all days, also it lightens your normal concealer beautifully. I fell in love with it and it really helps since I'm so fair !!
Did anyone ever talk about regular Stargazer foundations? They look super pale but all I ever have heard about is the white mixer and that hasn't sounded very promising... I want a really good mixer, cuz some of Mally and Milani makeup rocks but they're both way to dark for pale skin. I'm gonna try that Face Atelier. Ty Taylor--lots of info!!👍🏻🌯🍩
girl I appreciate how much effort and research you put into your videos like this! you never miss anything, one of the many reasons why you're my favorite beauty blogger 💖
I don't know if I missed you mentioning it or not but do you notice any of the mixers affecting your skin in terms of oiliness? I used the NYX white mixer and I felt like it made my skin get pretty oily (well more oily than normal)when using my usual matte foundations so I'm still on the hunt for a mixer that doesn't cause me to get oilier sooner than I am used to.
Rianna Boyd manic panic keeps my oil at bay when (I have combo skin and use revlon 24 hour in 110). my manic panic mixer is the thicker formula so I'm not sure how the runny formula will be on my skin
Commenting because you mentioned your concerns about the Illamasqua mixer at the end - I have dry skin, so obviously not a big fan of products that give me texture, but the Illamasqua mixer combined with more low-medium coverage formulas actually works out really well. I'm a really big fan of the finish I get from mixing it with BB creams, because BB creams generally sit the best on my skin, but I like high coverage products best and the Illamasqua skin base mixer makes anything you mix it with high coverage. I don't like it when combined with the skinbase foundation because it's waaaay too heavy, but I think it's actually a really good mixing product when used correctly!
I bought the manic panic years ago based on one of the first videos of yours that I saw! So bummed that they changed the formula! It's my go to 😭 thank you so much for always giving the best reviews ❤️
Taylor, I hope I'm not over stepping but finding the single base ingredient is not really that simple. Emulsifiers are often added to combine these ingredients. Silicones are only surfectants (sp?), used to create a nice smooth application. It's for the 'feel' only. Most foundations, creams etc are usually oil based and that doesn't equate to being unsuitable for acne prone skin. There are also plant oils vs synthetic bases. Each have different properties but in my opinion, a natural, plant oil is more readily accepted by the skin so it's what I prefer. The 'base' as such will probably be the first/second ingredient - that is also the largest quantity ingredient, hence it being the 'base'. Hope that helps. 😊
Rachel Blackwell Yes, but wouldn't plant oil based foundations be absorbed by the skin, and not form a layer that we typically want it to? I know that oils agree with oily skin where skincare is concerned, but how would they work in makeup? I feel like products will just slide off or be patchy if it isn't a like with like situation.
Shayri Garg that's why it's good to have a good balance of ingredients that work together to create a formula that's both conditioning for the skin (ideally) and also act as an occlusive - i.e, it just sits there. With regard to plant based oils, they're used as an additive. If you read foundation ingredients, you'll typically find them half way down the list with something such as mineral oil or isopropyl myristate nearer the top. Also, different plant based oils have different properties and different rates of absorption so they can be used accordingly.
exactly that makes a difference, you actually tested all of this so you know what you're talking about! thank you so so much. such informations are still hard to find anywhere, I'm glad companies start extending their lines with mixers :)
I'm sooo great for you ! i really appreciate all the work you put into your videos. i love that you dont bash a brand just cause it didnt work for you. &' im glad that you don't expect super high expectations for a product. some girls think that a product should completely cover everything and make their face look flawless when they have acne &' last all day w/o creasing or getting greasy, but you don't! Not only that but you invest A LOT of time & do your research on a product before putting out a video. The professionalism of your videos is very much appreaciated!
Face Ateleir, Ben Nye, and Krylon all make white stick foundations. I'm acne prone and found the Ben Nye Foundations work for my skin. Love the Cameo powder by them as well.
Elissa Lewis good to know, there's jojoba oil in the manic panic one and I ended up convincing myself it was oil based. thus not using it as much. Thanks for letting me know!
SCREAMING. CAN. NOT. WAIT. did you also check out the serum foundation formulation with the silver reflects? would you think that color is too dark? what shades did you order!
This is so helpful for me bc I'm constantly changing color since I self tan off and on. I hate having to buy two of the same foundation in different shades. Thanks for all the work you put into this Taylor!
I bought the L.A. Girl mixer thanks to your recommendation and I LOVE it! I mix it with my Wet N Wild in the lightest shade and they work perfectly together. Thank you 1000× over!♥️ #baeritto4life 🌯🌯🌯
Just want to say I am OBSESSED with your videos, I am ghostly pale and had given up on finding a foundation that actually matches me. After coming across your channel I am now obsessed with trying out new pale foundations that I never knew existed (thank you!!!). Please can you review the ilamasqua skin base foundation? They have very light shades 2 & 3 and even a whitener shade 1. Thanks again, Lisa 😊
I have tried almost every white mixer you talked about, and I love the L.A. Girl the most. I was like OMG where has this been my whole life. I also like the MAC Face and Body in White.
I really really appreciate all the research you put into this. Cruelty free and vegan brands are really important to me and I so love that you think of that when doing reviews like this.
Thank You!!! OMG I found your channel recently and I have been having the worst time finding a good foundation that isn't too dark for me! You are so awesome and you did some research! Thank you again!
I really, truly appreciate how much work and research you put into your videos, especially considering that you work outside of youtube as well. Forever a baerito
the milani perfect and conceal lightest shade is the perfect patch for me but also i'm never the lightest shade milani needs to add way more shades because there is a ton of people so many shades lighter then me
Katy • milani is more of a PoC brand so it makes sense that their shades tend to be darker, but I agree there's no excuse as to why they can't also cater to lighter people!
I've needed this for so longgg. I've only used the manic panic and the Innisfree(I think) one. I always have to use so much of the manic panic one(old formula). It's such a journey. Thank you for all of this information!
I've been binge watching your videos for a few days now, and I just want to say that it's obvious you put in SO much time and effort into them, and it's really appreciated. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
I am so grateful for all the time and effort you put into your videos. As a fellow pale princess, I too struggle with getting the lightest shades of foundations to be light enough for me. This video was super informative and I will definitely be getting myself a foundation mixer now!
the la girl.white mixer broke me out the first 2 times I used it. and after that never did it again. I love the la girl one. I use it with all my foundations!! thank u xoxoxo
I actually mix Physician's Formula Conceal RX in the green color with anything that I need to make lighter. I started using this on a whim because any foundation that's advertised for pale skin immediately oxidized deep pink on me. I took basic knowledge from color theory that green cancelled out pink. This has actually been in my kit ever since, totally a ride or die. Makes light-med coverage foundations high-full coverage with just a pencil tip amount. I highly recommend this to you and any other subscribers!!
I bought two bottles of Manic Panic a couple months ago and they're both thick. I didn't think it was watery at all. I love Manic Panic! I also like to use Maybelline Matte and Poreless foundation or Hard Candy's foundation in their lighter shades as mixers because they're cheaper
The illamasqua skin base foundation in white is my most favourite thing ever! I'm around a MAC NC5, so I always have to use a mixer. I've used pretty much all of them!
I don't know any other RUclipsr that puts this much time and research into a video! Your hard work is much appreciated! Love you girl!
Thank you so much! You should check out Stephanie Nicole, she rocks :)
Laura Lee yeah thataylaa and Stephanie Nicole are my favorite because they give honest reviews #aspirationstogetontheirlevel
came here to say the same thing!

I have dry skin & nyx is my go to lightener too. I used manic panic for ages but prefer the nyx.
humanponygirl I have really dry skin and I really like the la girl one. I've used it with my bareminerals bb cream, loreal pro glow, and urban decay naked skin and works wonders. 👌
humanponygirl i have extremely dry skin and i use the la girl one daily it's super luminous and not drying at all i love it
Hi Taylor, if you can't figure out if the foundation is water or silicone based, try mixing a small amount of the product with water. If it dissolves and the pigments leach into the water, it is water based. If it is silicone based, it will not dissolve at all.
For background, I'm a chemist, and this is a little trick I use to determine the solvent or "base" of emulsions.
7 years later, and your old videos are still helping pale girlies out with finding the right makeup! I'm so happy I found your channel!
I don't even need white foundation mixers but I love you and your videos so much so here I am.
🍎🍎🍎🍎
I have dark skin and definitely don't need a white mixer lol, but I still could not wait to watch this video. Taylor, you are a Queen 👑 love your videos 💕

Love the addition of mention if it's cruelty free or not since I stick to cruelty free products! thanks!!
Zoe Prevatt agreed! so appreciative!
Thank you so much for including whether or not products are cruelty free! Sometimes, I'll watch a video and constantly pause so I can look up whether or not products I'm interested in is cruelty free. This definitely makes my life easier!
NEVER CLICKED SO FAST IN MY LIFE
I so appreciate that you do these. I'm extremely pale, and finding makeup that works is a lot harder than it sounds.

Sarah Mariner seriously so true! I wanna drive and get Krispy kreme maple donuts now
You can't write a comment like that and not expect me to giggle! lol (:
Sarah Mariner yaaaaas! I'm about to go to krispy kreme now!!
Lol I love the 🌯 fam
THANK YOU! I have not seen anyone even do a video like this before. I've always had the biggest struggle trying to find my shade because I didn't know that mixers were a thing. Taylor, Maybelline has come out with 16 new shades in Fit Me Matte + Poreless, you may be interested in re-reviewekng the new super fair shades.
Emily Rachel Gilley pleaseee
They now have 102 and 105.
Love that you let us know when something is cruelty free even though you are not exclusively. Thank you!
While I know this is pre-mature since 15 days of foundation just ended, but I was wondering if next time along with shirts if we could also have mugs. I've been needing a new mug and I would love for it the money to go to a good cause!
That's such a good idea! I spend like $25 per mug for my fandoms (I'm a dork) and just put my make up brushes and bookmarks in them anyways lol
I've already found my holy grail drugstore foundation, and I'm not super pale (I match the lightest shades of most). I quickly became obsessed with your videos even though I don't really need the info. Signs of a quality RUclipsr.
You should try the white mixer from Life's Entropy! I've found that one to work so well and only need a drop or two to lighten really well!
I'll check it out, thanks!!
Sami Clifford I was just looking through the comments to see if anyone has tried LE! Glad to see you like it, Sami!
Mallory O'Bryant I've used a whole bottle and i like it too, but after shipping & tax it's so expensive and I run out of it quickly
I can't get that one to work at all! I love that company though, Eternal jellyfish forever!

Right? Me too! Taylor was the first person I ever watched that used mixers!
Same. I didn't even know they existed before I started watching her. I'm so glad she takes the time out to really help us super pale girls.

Hannah E. I got mine off Amazon and it was also thick.
I got mine of amazon some time last year (since the manic panic website didn't ship to Australia) and mine didn't seem thicker.
I recently bought a thick one too. I love it! And bought it initially because of this channel
Depends on the seller. I bought an LA girl white foundation on Amazon & had no issue. You have to check feddback
Love the fact that you are so informative with the research and testing you do, I wish more of the beauty gurus that started out like this would continue to be persistent on teaching and showing us this type of information.

For years I've been using lightners by Maycheer it's a Korean brand. They make a white , pink lavender and green. They also make a super pale foundation that the bottle looks like a pill 💊lol. Great video 🦄🦄
Also the Maycheer is 2-3$ a tube. The pale/pill bottle foundation is 3$
GlitterismyCRACK would you happen to know if they're cruelty free?
well I'll definitely be ordering these, thanks for the recommendation!
Wdiftd animal testing on finalized beauty products is illegal in SK
Maddy Why thank you
Omg! Thank you for making this video! I've been wanting to get a white foundation mixer because I'm super pale like you but had no clue as to which one I should try.
Thank you so much for this! ❤️ I'm sure this was a LOT of work for you. We really appreciate it.
#BaerritoFam loves you 💕
I can't imagine how much work went into this video!
Thanks for another fantastic video, well researched!
wish u did a vid of the illamasqua white foundation! thats def my favorite! Its super pigmented!
Oh my goodness, THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this video!!! I've purchased so many foundations hoping they'd be light enough, and they never were, and I am only getting paler, so it's wonderful to know there's a way to still use all these products!
Too Faced got a new pale shade in the BTW foundation, and concealer, please test them out! :)
No, They came out with more since then.
Hannah E. I don't think they come out until June 15th but I totally want to see the new fair shades! Snow is orange/peach for me.
Lighter than the "very fair" concealer shade they already had?! I gotta try that!
Krylon tv paint stick has an amazing white one
I just found you channel and I love your tips for us super pale girls! I used to have to mix white clown make-up in my foundations back in the day to lighten it up. I still can’t believe the options available now.
The manic panic one never mixed with any of my foundations (old formula) and made any foundation go on so patchy no matter if I used primer or not or a brush or sponge 😩I wish I had better luck with it like everyone else
I agree about Illamasqua's Skin Base being a not great foundation but using the white SB as a mixer is perfection. You barely need any and it mixes great with most foundations. Would recommend.
SO LONG AWAITED! #baerrito #snapchatfam 👍🏻👪🌯
Shelby Byrd 👍🏻🌯👪
Shelby Byrd 😘😘😘😘
👍🏼🌯👪 I see you babe!!
Hi Taylor! Have you tried MAC face and body foundation in white?
Thank you so much for this video! I am super pale and have the NYX white mixer and had absolutely no idea the technicalities of it. I've seen a couple not that great videos regarding white mixers that gave me no added information. You are the best.
I ordered my manic panic dreamtone and it's still thick. maybe you got a dud.
Oh 'Kay It's Mee The would mean that hundreds of other people got duds too, which I find to believe. Maybe you received product from the old formula.
probably did get the old formula. I really like it... sucks they changed it.
Same here, I got mine on eBay with no issues
maybe they're making knock-offs now since its so popular, try buying off the manic panic website, its never done me wrong
Madison LeBeau dude maybe... there's a lot of scabs going on on amazon
I have waited so long for this video, YES MOM!!
I have actually waited for this to come out before I buy any kind of white mixer! I'm so happy thank you so much!
Snapchatfam yassss so excited for this
I bought the manic panic years ago based on one of the first videos of yours that I saw!
Rachel Blackwell surfactants....you were close girl! You make a good observation😉
Laura Brooks why thank you 😎
Rachel Blackwell Yes, but wouldn't plant oil based foundations be absorbed by the skin, and not form a layer that we typically want it to? I know that oils agree with oily skin where skincare is concerned, but how would they work in makeup? I feel like products will just slide off or be patchy if it isn't a like with like situation.
Shayri Garg that's why it's good to have a good balance of ingredients that work together to create a formula that's both conditioning for the skin (ideally) and also act as an occlusive - i.e, it just sits there. With regard to plant based oils, they're used as an additive. If you read foundation ingredients, you'll typically find them half way down the list with something such as mineral oil or isopropyl myristate nearer the top. Also, different plant based oils have different properties and different rates of absorption so they can be used accordingly.
exactly that makes a difference, you actually tested all of this so you know what you're talking about! thank you so so much. such informations are still hard to find anywhere, I'm glad companies start extending their lines with mixers :)
i've literally never heard of spf 43 in my life
Kristy Kelly ahhhh ok that's actually quite interesting thanks!
I'm suspicious that I would have to use more of the lightener than foundation 😂
Ojereader There are definitely foundations for me that this is true 😆
Ojereader for me, this is always true.
I have become paperwhite
Face Ateleir, Ben Nye, and Krylon all make white stick foundations. I'm acne prone and found the Ben Nye Foundations work for my skin. Love the Cameo powder by them as well.
JOJOBA OIL is actually a wax, that's why they can say oil free 😊
Elissa Lewis good to know, there's jojoba oil in the manic panic one and I ended up convincing myself it was oil based. thus not using it as much. Thanks for letting me know!
I love your dedication to your craft. You can tell you seriously put the time and effort into this video as with all your other videos
does anyone have any info on whether or not shes doing ordinary foundation videos?!!?!?
Just got them in the mail finally today! I talked about it on snapchat: thataylaasnaps
SCREAMING. CAN. NOT. WAIT. did you also check out the serum foundation formulation with the silver reflects? would you think that color is too dark? what shades did you order!
So I'm pretty sure youtube unsubscribed me from your channel? Is that normal? Why did it happen? Anyone else?
+Clay Davis welcome to RUclips 2017 😂
Clay Davis that keeps happening to me with threadbanger
I like how you know what you want to talk about and how , not just rambling and wasting our time(like other beauty gurus)👌
👍🏼🌯👪 hey girls!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I love you all
Maura Beach Hey girl! ❤️❤️
Courtney Valicek ❤️❤️❤️
I have tried almost every white mixer you talked about, and I love the L.A. Girl the most. I was like OMG where has this been my whole life. I also like the MAC Face and Body in White.
Wearing Manic Panic Today!!! 👍🏻🌯👪
#snapfam 🍎🍎
Courtney Valicek hellooooo bb 👍🏼🌯👪
Maura Beach Heyyy ❤️
I really really appreciate all the research you put into this. Cruelty free and vegan brands are really important to me and I so love that you think of that when doing reviews like this.
👍❤🌯👪 love our Baeritto family!
Jesse MacDonald Heyyy 👍🏻🌯👪
Thank You!!! OMG I found your channel recently and I have been having the worst time finding a good foundation that isn't too dark for me! You are so awesome and you did some research! Thank you again!
I feel like a maple donut now...
#snapfam #baerrito
Or maybe I should have an apple 😄 🍎🍎🍎
treat yaself girl
👍🏼🌯👪 girl, holla at your fangirls!!!!
Alexandria Sutton hi bby 👍🏼🌯👪
I've been binge watching your videos for a few days now, and I just want to say that it's obvious you put in SO much time and effort into them, and it's really appreciated. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
woo hoo so early. #snapfam #baerritofam
🍎 🍎 🍎
I am so grateful for all the time and effort you put into your videos. As a fellow pale princess, I too struggle with getting the lightest shades of foundations to be light enough for me. This video was super informative and I will definitely be getting myself a foundation mixer now!
the la girl.white mixer broke me out the first 2 times I used it. and after that never did it again. I love the la girl one. I use it with all my foundations!! thank u xoxoxo
👍🏽🌯👪 ❤️😘💋
Cherisse Cabrinha 👍🏻🌯👪
Cherisse Cabrinha ❤️️❤️️❤️️
Cherisse Cabrinha hi bb! 👍🏼🌯👪
Love you guys!!
Girl 😻 Your youtube picture is beautiful 👍🏼🌯👨👩👧
I also like to use Maybelline Matte and Poreless foundation or Hard Candy's foundation in their lighter shades as mixers because they're cheaper
ambdance00 I've also used L'Oréal True Match before because their light shades are pretty light 👍🏻
🍎🌯👪
The illamasqua skin base foundation in white is my most favourite thing ever! I'm around a MAC NC5, so I always have to use a mixer. I've used pretty much all of them!
