Thanks for the tips. Took on a corsair with my Titan & won the fight using your basics! The Titan is equipped with ndp 30's, which I salvaged from an abandoned lightning. Made a slight difference in the ttk, but the maneuvers were the game changer. Context, was minding my own business checking the location when this nub decided to take me on. Many thanks.
No. Sadly the current flight model makes it basically impossible to escape in a slower ship against a good pilot. You don't have enlugh acceleration and turn rate to dodge effectively so your only chance to run is before they get close enough to engage you. If they're pushing in to engage try to land as many shots as you can before they get close. Also dont be afraid to spam missiles. If you get target locked dont even ask questions just fire as many missiles as you can get off before they're too close.
Do you use keyboard for movement or are you using sticks? I have sticks that I use, but honestly it seems like a quick tap with WASD would be faster than me rolling stick back and forth...
I see a new trend where players are constantly deploying noise to temporarily hide whenever they take the slightest amount of damage. Can you make a video on how to address this?
@@brianchristopher8843 yeah they tend to launch noise and immediately boost away making it difficult to track them. Pretty annoying when I'm actually winning the fight.
