Just picked one up at my local shop for 400 also with nite sites. Great deal. 400 beats 700 for new without nite sites. They also had a 35 with nite sites for the same price but Im not into 40.
I recently tried one here in CA and it's EXCELLENT! I still got that Glock knuckle feeling though. If I do get one, having an undercut for it is a MUST.
Congratulations, that IS an epic deal. I can already imagine the first 3 modifications that you will probably apply to it.. Unless you plan to keep it stock and pretty, and stow it away as an investment. Either way, I doubt you can stop grinning about it for a week or two..
Just got mine today, first time owning a Glock. I’m a XD 9subcomp guy. Ngl is there like a certain way to slide the the slide? I’m honestly new to guns as well.
Wrap hand over the top of the back of the slide. Your fingers should be on the slide serrations on the back. Then just a slingshot type motion to cycle the slide.

The algorithm really did not like this video. I tried like 10 times and even restarted before it would even load the adds.

I have a Gen 4 Glock 34 and absolutely love it.

The only thing I’m going to do is a talon grip. The sights are awesome and I don’t plan on changing any internals.
Actually, Glock still produces the 34 and others with the slide cut, just not on the gen 5, only Gen 1-4.
