I just happen to find your videos randomly a day ago and when I found them my heart just started racing because I am the odd one in my family and in my friends no one likes to plan anything no one has a planner and I’m obsessed with planners and Planning and with the planning of the stickers and to know that there is a community out there of people just like me that enjoy this, it makes me feel like I have found a great community where I can even learn from i am and grateful for your videos!!!

You can use the monthly for memory keeping!
Just an idea for your monthly in the catch all planner.... I’ve been using mine for a rough draft kind of situation.... so I only use pencil on it I don’t really decorate it at all but when something gets planned I write it there in pencil so it’s also like a month at a glance then stuff like doc appts etc you can write in 6 months in advance and still feel okay about it cuz it’s just in your monthly view and in pencil!

I just got my new 2020 planner. I didn't realize it's the new Home Body dashboard layout planner in these gorgeous colors. I'm so excited. I wanted the dashboard layout and didn't pay attention to the actual planner. Lol

I bought my Classic Happy Planner at Walmart on clearance for 4.00. It was for 2020 and I bought it in August. I was getting sad that I would have to get a new one. But watching your videos I decided to put stickers over the dates instead of wasting the blank pages!!
I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this already, but I'm using one of my monthly pages for meal planning.

I love the year at a glance page idea. The year at a glance is used in bullet journals. I may create one for my mini happy planner.

Dee Tee the quality of the discs and the colors used on the pages. My first and only happy planner was a huge disappointment. Friends tell me that i might have just gotten a dud. I don’t know , either way I steer clear of them now.

Hey Heather, I have been watching for about a year. One video that I would like to see is ways you can use the monthly page. For example: as a budget (when bills are do) your VOTD (Verse of the Day) etc. But this happened to you in this video and happens to me all the time. I need more ideas.... Thanks. Do you mean the pen she used to write in the January 2020 at the 5:00ish minute mark? If so, I’m pretty sure it’s a Tombow Fudenosuke - soft tip (it comes in a hard tip too). Here in the UK, I get them from Amazon (some sell in the UK, but mostly, they’re imported straight from Japan). Hope that helps
Edit; I’ve just got to the end of the video and seen another black pen lol! This one (from the 24:00ish minute mark), I’m pretty sure, is an Erin Condren (looks like it might be the Classic Dual-Tip, but I’m not 100%). And no I haven’t got a pen kink 😂 (it’s more a stationary kink LOL)

I am loving the Frankenplanning but can’t seem to let go of keeping a whole yearly “catch all” planner. It
gets so thick even with the expander rings. I would love to pare it down. Where do you put future dates/appointments that come up if you only have one month at a time in your catch all? Do you have a “parking lot” page or section or additional “whole” planner? Or a set of just the monthlies? Help, please!

I did receive a response on my other question from another follower who pointed me to her use of the mini that she carries with her. Heather tries to keep up but with her followers' comments but with her MANY videos throughout the years, it would be impossible for her to see them all. Grace (wink).

What do you do if two things end up occurring on the same day (for the year at a glance highlighting)? What color do you highlight?
I would do half & half highlight if that makes any sense.
If one is already highlighted one color, you could make a circle of the other color around it.

I completely understand. That's why you should always do what works best for you. I use Heather's videos as an inspiration point and I do get a lot of ideas from her, but like you I don't have the time it would take ME to implement them all ☺

I believe she has a mini planner for pre planning ...that way you can put in any dates you need for the whole year as they come up when you do your monthly planning for your catch all you just reference your mini and fill in any engagements for that month
