    I like the light colors and minimalist/simplistic theme that give it a open, bright, clean, and elegant feel. Someone has a good eye, can communicate and implement that idea. Good job pulling that all together.
    Nice puppy!

    Was the wheelchair lift removal difficult and did the mounting holes cause any problems?

    • @erikawhitesurf
      @erikawhitesurf  2 года назад

      It was difficult but we managed to do it and found no problems with the mounting holes!

    Is your engine under the front seat? How did you build the cabinets behind if you need to get to the engine?

    • @paulraymond1804
      @paulraymond1804 2 года назад

      Passenger seat folds forward, then the seat base + back lift backward.
      Their cabinets don't cause any more obstruction than a cargo barrier.

    Perforate your bed frame to prevent molds on your mattress...

    Hi team, great vid! How many KMS did your van have when you bought it (and how much if you don't mind me asking)? Any mechanical issues since upload?

    • @erikawhitesurf
      @erikawhitesurf  3 года назад +1

      Hi Paddy! It cost around 6500 AUD and had about 160kms! and yes there were quite a few mechanical problems that we had to get fixed over time, looking back there were a few red flags when were buying but we were just too excited to acknowledge them! but all in all it was a great learning experience and we had such an amazing time in the van!

    Hi guys! Good job! I’m currently trying to remove the wheelchair lift on the same van but it seems like I need to remove the gas tank to access to the bold underneath!! Did you guys had to do that as well? Thanks

    • @erikawhitesurf
      @erikawhitesurf  5 лет назад

      David Giraud Hey! Oh yes we had the same problem! We didn’t have to remove the gas tank but we somehow managed to work around it. We decided to keep in those metal runners along the floor which were for the wheelchair lift and added the flooring on top. Hope that helps!

    • @davidgiraud74
      @davidgiraud74 5 лет назад

      Erika White thanks for your reply I ended up just lowering the gas tank so I didn’t have to disconnect all of the hoses!
      I was wondering to keep or not that big AC thing between the front and the back of the van, I see that you took it off and I guess that’s the best so you can create that storage on top of driver’s seats :)

    • @erikawhitesurf
      @erikawhitesurf  5 лет назад

      David Giraud no worries! I’d actually suggest keeping the big ac unit, I know it means less storage but we really felt the heat, especially in Australia and we could of really benefited from that air con! It just means you’ll have to minimalise your belongings but that’s never a bad thing! Up to you! Good luck! Let me know how it goes :)

    • @erikawhitesurf
      @erikawhitesurf  3 года назад +1

      Hey Alex, this lift was very tricky to remove and super heavy! It requires a lot of muscle power and maybe a professional haha but we managed to do it!
