Cookout has always been REALLY high quality for the really low price. They’re also the only fast food restaurant that isn’t raising their prices while maintaining their quality. So props to them on that.
@@ramencurry6672yeah it’s only in the south, I might get in trouble for saying this but I think it’s a step above (and no more) than in-and-out. Milkshakes are bomb
cookout is really good & convenient for late nights; the best menu items are: the corn dogs (my baby brother & i love them 😭) any size burger w/ everything but jalapeños the cajun ranch chicken wrap cajun fries the walking taco w/ jalapeños cheerwine (cherry flavored soda) & the fresh banana milkshake. i also love the oreo, heath toffee (my dad’s go-to) or cappuccino my sister also loves the blueberry cheesecake milkshake; it’s alright, imo
Cookout is one of the things I miss most about the Carolinas, along with Bojangles. Lots of good food for an affordable price. Plus they have hushpuppies.
READY TO HEAR MY COOKOUT OPINIONS? - maybe controversial but i despise the burgers. always burnt/ bitter, 2/10 - white cheddar cheese bites, (when NOT dripping in grease!) are good, 5/10 - signature watermelon shake has an awful texture, 1.5/10 - cajun fries, wonderful!!! 8/10 - chicken nuggets, didn’t impress me. 4/10 - never had the quesadilla and you convinced me!! - CHEERWINE IS THE BEST AND I AM HAPPY TO HAVE WITNESSED YOUR FIRST TIME TRYING! as a 11 year north carolina resident :)
@@KaitlynEats omg!! while i have your attention, if you’re ever in Durham, NC- go to Cheeni Indian Food Emporium. I’ve watched every single one of your NYC food videos (including the Indian restaurants) and therefore I’m pretty confident I know your taste buds… it’s no Michelin star, but the owner has been nominated for the James Beard Best Chef Southeast TWO years in a row! I hope one day to recommend you the dishes I know you’ll love- it’s my mum’s place!! 🫶🏼
Guuurrrrlll Andrew made sure you neva forget your married. You've got like a whole damn goldmine on that finger. 😂🤣🤣🤣 It's chonky but still stylish and pops. ❤
My dad took me to cook out in NC, I swear it was a punishment. The food was like $5 for a drink, 2 sides and a main item but was worse than McDonald’s.
Oh maaaaan- Cookout is THE late night after the bar food. One of NC’s gems ❤
Im from and live in NC and cookout is the only thing open after 10pm lol. Cookout always comes through for the late night crowd!
Eating a milk shake with a fork is straight chaos and I love it

Cook out was my go to when I lived in NC, it’s so cheap but quality def reflects that hahah
Never heard of them. So it’s like mediocre I suppose

the watermelon shake (yes, with fresh chunks of watermelon) is the best thing at cookout. available july-august only
I went to Cook Out recently for the first time. The burger was good. The crinkle cut fries were okay. I will have to try the Cajun fries next time.
This reminds me of college and I love it

I go to school in the south and cook out has saved my ass so many times after a long night
I honestly love a cookout style burger (comes with chili) or the cheddar style (comes with cheddar sauce and onions.

Ugh, Cook Out is the BEST southern food chain. I said what I said.
You gotta try the chili dog honestly the best item on the menu lol
As someone who drinks their dinner everynight, I can enjoy the food part

Bacon wrap as a side!
Before I watch this.
The burgers are dry, fries ok, but those shakes are killer.
CHERRY WINE SUPREMACY
after an IM soccer game, cookout used to hit so hard.
Cheerwine tastes like Dr Pepper?????? DR PEPPER????? Uh uh
i think maybe she’s had a cherry flavored one & that was the closest comparison
Three Chicken nuggets? That combo should have at least 5.
