The wheels are awesome!! they are a defining characteristic! Mine are the Powder coat steel version.. anyone in dump trucking knows wheels never stay clean or scratch free . even worse if you have to go through wheel "washes" many times a day! I prefer steel because of its re-paintability and better stronger surfaces. aluminum is only pretty a short time and soon gets scratched and dented up from rocks and narrow wheel washes.
always blows my mind how long it is... a walk around every day will definitely keep you fit ;) loving the grill, since you always bringing it up, it now has become the first thing I notice on any rig going down the road. hahaha
I don’t understand Kenworths thinking behind putting the license plate bracket right there, we used them on a coupledom our first 880 trucks and after ripping a couple off, we just drilled holes and bolted them in the middle of the bumper. Most of the brackets are indeed bent!
A 22 ft. box!!! You didn't say anything about the WB unless I was in a fog when you said it. It must take half the State to turn that thing around. For a straight frame the max. box is a 20 ft. & the WB< 264". After that; it's time to order a Tractor & a Dump Trailer. DT's or trailers are either red, blue maybe yellow & shiny...period!
This may sound silly but whats the reasoning behind having the pressure adjustments outside of the truck for the lift axles when the guages to monitor the psi are in the cab. Seems rather inconvenient.
So you can't mess with the pressure of the axles as your driving down the road. It's to keep you legal for bridge laws. I'm not sure if these trucks have it but I know some have it where the axles get to a load, and they will automatically drop the pusher axles for the bridge laws.
Good question! I'll actually be changing the logo here in a few weeks. Since I'm doing the videos for 4 different dealerships now.......it was time. :D
Wheels UPS style. Allison excellent. Chambers The best. Nice setup. Automated/automatic/Stick Stuck test. Loaded/empty And throw in that 6 axle straight dump compared to a daycab tractor and quad axle pup dump. I live around allot of sand pits and quarrys. I'm curious?
@@KenworthofRichfield Some of the variable could be a pain in the gluteal complex - power plant and ratings could make one better than the other (like last week's MX 11 vs MX 13 cv X15); the mix of use might matter; the odd use I have in mind makes me wonder which is better, for example. After last week's video, I'm considering an MX 11 MT w/Ultrashift for my plan ... and in spite of your advice about cost, that driving front axle, too. Ok, so I'm crazy. Next?

Thank you! Cheers!
Oh oh superbe l avant est formidable il a de la gueule ✌✌👍👀😘😘😘 sacré beau camion 🙋♀️🙋♀️
Thank you!!!!!
Please compare Alison vs Autoshift in both hiway and vocational applications.
Interesting......That might be worth a shot Rod!
@@KenworthofRichfield Wanting to save my leg.
Allison is definitely worth the extra cost. They may weigh a little more but soo smooth, truck is always in peak torque and no clutch

Now that's just cool.

Anthony nails it. It's so you can't mess with them while going down the road or while on the scales.
This one does not.
killleeeerrrrrr truck
Agreed Mark. :D
I would want that but a Peterbilt 359 will a big cam cummins 3 twin stick.

Do you have an estimate of how much that dump body weigths sir
The body is usually around 4500 lbs or so including the hydraulics and that.
2 questions; what does it weigh and is that Allison a 6 speed?
It's a 6 speed Frank and I have no idea. :( We haven't had it across the scales as of this point.
Kenworth of Richfield my grandpa asked if it could be n14 swapper with 18 speed.
Anyone know what Kenworth color the cab is?
Ohhhh!! The wheels!
OH YEAH!

This truck can work in California?
18 Ultrashift vs. 12 speed Endurant for vocational and road.
I like the idea.....
