Love how unsettling this puppet can get with the expressionless eyes combined with the mouth-screen. Definitely standing on the edge of the uncanny valley in a good way.
Reminds me a bunch of the designs from Mirror Mask.
I honestly can’t put into words how truly amazing that was. How the Oogie Boogie puppet moved so fluidly and with so much character, I actually felt like he was dangerous. You conveyed the character so well you deserve nothing but praise.
I feel like that character should be the villain in the series

The only way I could see that being done is with you lying on a bench above the track on screen right, arms stretched out and convoluted in very painful ways to walk the puppet as if you were behind it.

I absolutely love this. Your singing and acting is convincing and truly beautiful. You've managed to keep his character yet change his voice and even change the songs genre in a sense. And it all still feels like the actual song and character. It's amazing how you managed to do so much, so well, with just a little puppet, creative potential and your talents. Your voice, your puppets, the performance in general, absolutely incredible. I almost didn't believe what I was seeing. The puppet moves so realistically it's just amazing.
I wouldn’t mind if this was the boogeyman under my bed, as long as he sings Villain songs
The fact the puppet glows in that sort of ultraviolet reflective way just fits the song so well
In the original song it had that glowing effect so that particular puppet was the perfect choice for the role of Oogie Boogie
It's like watching your bedroom toys come to life when you go to sleep. You should definitely do something with a sort of toystory idea Barnaby!
