I love this, and I love that Lock Shock and Barrel got to show up and see their boss again! I'm sure they missed him with him being locked up this long. Seeing Maleficent and Oogie Boogie together gave me some Kingdom Hearts vibes
Playing that to this
Maleficent interacted with Oogie Boogie in Kingdom Hearts.
You might be already planning to add these but I wish there were subtitles. On a side note, one of my favorite things about this series is the costumes. Great work again!
Yes I hope they do put subtitles in all of their vids tbh
Anybody here after the passing of Ken Page? :(
Props to the singer doing Oogie's vocals here, they're spot on.
Oogie Boogie is back and groovier than he's ever been! Love this!
I LOVE IT! The song fits Oogie, Lock, Shock and Barrel! I already can’t wait till the song hits Apple Music! I can’t wait to see where this story leads us!
It's in the itunes story now.
@@jamessirot854 lol I seen it. I got curious and looked after I posted my comment, and it was on there ^-^
No wonder Maleficent locked him up..
He’s terrifying!
No wonder Cruella was scared
I love the use of Grim from Spirit as the background singers! this is such an awesome video! great job to everyone involved. the voices and acting were terrific!!
Yay!! Been waiting half the week on pins and needles for this! Can’t wait to see how ep3 thickens the plot!
Pattycake, you have done it again! Bravo to all involved from the actors, production team, makeup & costume designers, techs, etc!!
Kathy Castallucci is awesome as Shock. She is so talented & never gets enough recognition & credit for all her hard work she puts into Voice Play & Geoff Castallucci's production's. She is after all their production manager.
Oogie didn't just make a comeback he brought the entire 90's with him to bust a groove on us all!!
brilliant and great to see Kathy getting a part!
I watched this so many times and I finally read the credits and was just blown away that Kathy was in the bathtub with those two lunatics!
Kathy has appeared with them previously as the Wicked Witch in Will of Oz. (Eli and Earl were also in that one!)
You have to appriciate how much effort was put into this songs, it's just WOW, this is more effort then celebrities put in their own songs.
I LOVE The Villain's Lair😈!
Oogie Boogie looks great in live action, well done PattyCake👍!
"well well well... What have we here?"
"The villains lair, huh? Oh I'm scared!"
And the actor for Oogie Boogie is FANTASTIC and I appreciate the inclusion of Shock, Lock and Barrel! ❤🎉😮
Now it’s gonna be one hell of a Oogie Christmas! How frighteningly delightful! He’s got his Oogie back boys and girls!
This is gonna be fun >:)
Did they just kill sandy claws, the embodiment of joy and cheer? The villians are really stepping up their game.
Maleficent's actress is absoulutly Incredible
Am I the only one who find the ending really dark ? With Santa praying for his life, and then to hear his hopeless screams of pain, I dont want to know what Oogie Boogie is doing to him...
What an entrance for Oogie Boogie !
The song, outfits, make up and everything else were so good !
I particularly love Shock, Lock and Barrel, their make-up and clothes are really impressive !
It wasn’t dark..
It was terrifying!
Actually, Maleficent said gift, but never made a specific bargain. She’s just mean enough to take back her gift to torture Oogie more (and keep a bargaining chip in case she needs something from him in the future.)
Probably made him watch American Idol outtakes
I wonder if Jack and Sally will show up in a later episode and rescue Santa.
Yes! Another amazing episode of the villain's liar! Oogie Boogie is definitely one of my favorites & the henchmen are just *chef's kiss* perfect haha!
Wow loved it the actors who played lock shock and barrel were great they looked at exactly like the characters from the movie
lock straight up shaking his butt in shocks face never fails to kill me- plus locks facial expressions are so juvenile and childish it fits so well
I was looking to see how they could possibly incorporate Oogie Boogie into the story. This did not disappoint. Oogie indeed got the BOOGIE!
How am I only now finding out about this series?! This is amazing!
(Oogie is one of my all time favorite Disney villains, and seeing him like this is so good!)
I like the idea of Oogie Boogie and Dr. Facilier having beef considering they are both jazz themed villains that play deadly tricks on people and have eccentric accents
Funny enough not the first time I've seen Maleficent interact with Oogie Boogie, I also remember them meeting in Kingdom Hearts (also this song is a banger)
I looove The Villains Lair so much. Its like you watch a real Tv Show and each Episode something new Happens. Excited what the Other Objects will be that Maleficent will gather together.
SERIOUSLY!?! YOU ADDED OOGIE BOOGIE!?! THAT’S AWESOME! ABSOLUTELY WOW! CAN’T WAIT FOR EPISODE THREE AS WELL AS THE REST OF THIS SEASON!!
Everything about this was so on point!! Pattycake Villain's Lair never disappoints!!
This one reminds me of the Halloweentown story in KH2, Oogie coming back, Maleficient involved in Santa's kidnapping, the both of them having an argument...
The question is: Where's Sora when you need h...? Oh, right
Eh 🤷it's been 15 years so free game for the idea
@@cunningsmile4166 I never intended to say that in a negative way, both stories have similarities and differences, I just love KH, NBC and these series so I found it a funny coincidence. Also 15 years! Wow now I feel old...
@@marcveralalmela7321 your friends are your power.
When a friend needs you to be there; be there to help
Wait...
Maleficent is going on a journey to Morva!
Morva?
As in where the Black Cauldron was hidden... from the movie The Black Cauldron?!
This story gets more intriguing every time.
I can only imagine how long it takes to set up for these videos! Well done as always, Tony and Layne!
That last echo was chilling! Great, job! The song is amazing!
This is a ***** Masterpiece ! What a song ! What a voice ! What a location !
Thank you for making this ! Thanks to all the actors ! This is just pur piece of art !
This is just well done. A perfect throwback to Kingdom Hearts 2. Makes me wonder what KH Villains would be like when they become a part of Villain's Lair. The closest I can think of is Ansem, since he shared his screentime with Maleficent in KH1. Not sure how the Organization XIII, Vanitas or Xehanort (Old and Young) would be though.
I'm already loving this series a lot ever since it started, and I can't wait for more
This by far one of my favourite things on RUclips I do love villains so to see them act off each other is delight of the highest claber
I apologize if you already came up with this idea.
Oogie:And who's the king of Halloween?
Skeletons:Oogie! Boogie!
*Angry Skellington noises*
I love this, and I love that Lock Shock and Barrel got to show up and see their boss again! I'm sure they missed him with him being locked up this long. Also, me and my dad, who I watch this series with, are suspicious that Maleficent might've transmogrified some random person to look like Santa, maybe given them a script to follow, just to get Oogie's dice.
That's a distinct possibility. Then again she is the mistress of all evil.
THAT would be an excellent plot twist!!
She could have used Jack skellington or some one else from nightmare before christmas. I think that plot line would be fun. I mean Maleficent could have offered them revenge for the time oogie boogie stole Halloweentown. (The video game)
Lock Shock and Barrel appearances are always the best. :D
I'm glad to now know that 2 of my favorite Disney Villains, Scar and Oogie Boogie, are now in this Series.
This really helps one get into the holiday spirit for both Halloween and Christmas, but mostly the former. I’m just waiting to see the story of The Villains Lair continue.
Can I just say WOW! This was so well done and I love how ooogie boogie looked!
It amazes me how much better you guys are than actual Disney and their reboots lol. Amazing job guys keep it up !!!
I don't know why I was trying to ignore this. Never ignore a PattyCake Production video because it's always good.
Did you guys just seriously pull a Kingdom Hearts reference between Oogie and Maleficent? Okay Pattycake Productions 🤣😂 I see you!
But seriously that was amazing! Gave me the goosebumps. Poor Santa lol
What was the reference? I looked back and couldn't spot any. Not trying to doubt you, it's just I must've missed something that you saw.
Which reference?
Did... did you guys just kill Santa? D8
Also, I’d ask how Maleficent managed to kidnap Kris Kringle, but this is the same woman who kidnapped the literal Spirit of Christmas alongside Madam Mim. That’s real folks, Google it. Don’t worry though, Dumbo saved the Spirit. Otherwise, this episode is excellent as per usual! Your take on Oogie alone makes the video worth watching.
I will have to Google that..
Because I was just wondering how Maleficent got ahold of him!
@@christophercervantes5753 Oh yeah, should probably mention that they never explain how Maleficent or Mim managed to kidnap the Spirit either. Like a lot of old Disney comics, the premise is just there to be super silly and fun.
Yeah she has a bone to pick with Santa
Last Time they interacted, he brainwashed her intro a holiday loving and kind witch who spread the spirit of Christmas...
Also Christmas Is when One of her plans to kill Aurora was foiled in One of the dumbest ways possible by Ludwing Von Drake.
Yes. This all happened.
Wait a Minute, Maleficent Teamed Up With Madam Mim to capture Santa?!
@@disneyvillainsfan1666 Not Santa himself but the literal personification of Christmas spirit. Basically without her, nobody has any Christmas cheer and Santa won't be delivering any presents because he hasn't received any letters. There's a youtube video that explains this comic further. ruclips.net/video/B3e24Pw_fAo/видео.html
This has to be my favorite so far they all looked and sounded so good!
on the cast next to Oogie Boogie where it says Mr. Oogie Boogie does that mean that they got the same guy to play and voice Oogie Boogie because if they did that makes this even more great. I love this song and I'm excited to see episode three. keep up the hard work PattyCake Productions can't wait to see what else you have in storage for all of us also Merry Late Christmas
I have to say I'm impressed by your Oogie Boogie! Considering you had to work with an actual human in a costume versus stop-motion, you really sold it! (Nice trick for the mouth, btw, truly baffled me :))
But truly, everything was great in every department, not only character-wise!
This was worth the wait. I knew Maleficent was up to something.
That ending was so cruel and scary, but the song was pretty good
Now that really was an Oogie Boogie! Music, characters looking like what they portrayed as! Amazing work
New scariest thing in this series: THOSE DAMNED SKELETONS
Oh my gosh this was amazing! Everything is perfectly on point! I love that Lock, shock, and barrel are reading the nightmare before Christmas book during the song XD each little detail is amazing! Awesome job guys!
Lordy, these costumes look fantastic and the song slaps hard!
Very awesome ,you guys never disappoint me. Great costumes and sets too. I will never stop watching your awesome creative styles .
We’ve seen Oogie. Now we need Jack and Sally. If that happens, I am DYING (no pun intended) to see how you make come to life…or dead🤣.
