Wooooooowwww. Just. Wooooowww. I'm a huge fan of Once Upon A Time, myself, and I put the quality of these up there with the very best episodes of Once. Thank you so much for this greatness!
I love how they have two different actresses, one playing a big Diva as Ursula proper, while one plays a coy femme fatale as Vanessa. So they get to showcase and use two very different types of characters while narratively only having to worry about one.
Something interesting about Lady Tremaine's comments about how she once had a "happy marriage" before she became a broke widow and "society's joke": I'm pretty sure she's not talking about Cinderella's father, whom she only married for his money and eventually murdered. She must be referring to her first husband, whom she admitted in "Tough Love" she married out of genuine love before "her senses came". So it sounds like before she turned to villainy, she fell in love with a commoner and married him, but then he died and she was left broke and ostracized from society due to marrying outside her class. This is what ultimately triggered her descent into villainy.
I really admire Lady Tremaine's toughness where she was able to raise her daughters safe as a single mother in a society where widows are shun in their era.
I am completely obsessed with this since season one episode one and it is always such a special moment when a new episode releases and we see where the story is taking us! Endless love for this project, thank you for putting in so much work❤
It makes me SO happy to see Lady Tremaine and Captain Hook team up! They're both villains without magic and they actually pair well together! I love that neither had a real solo Villain song in their movies, but here they get a duet together! Also, I love the new concept of having Lady Tremaine be the, sort of, financier of the villains endeavors 😁
When Jafar was talking about fairy treachery he personally can relate to Genie not only Maleficent. From his perspective, Genie’s trusting Aladdin in granting Jafar his final wish was betrayal. Thanks for this Pattycake, I have been awaiting it.😊 Edit: wow people, thanks. The vizar is neither my favorite villain nor in the thumbnail but I guess eh why not. I still think it’s a bit of a stretch comparing fairies to the Genie but I wanted to make it sense what Jafar was saying to the Queen beyond the series narrative of Jafar being in the lair because of Maleficent. The popularity of my comment is remarkable thank you 😊
I absolutely adore this episode it gave a much deeper insight and build up for more future episodes. May not have been as musically inclined as ep 4 but this song was just straight up fire 🔥 Hopefully well get to see Further interactions between the hans and the gang from ep 3(gaston,frollo and jafar) would love to see their dynamic

The actors of the series deserve to be part of a Disney movie someday cause they keep getting better and better day by day keep up the good work❤❤❤
Once again, Pattycake Productions makes a flawless video. The costuming, the music, the sets, the way actor capture their character's mannerisms perfectly. I can only hope, as a film student, one day I'll be making videos of this quality.
🥲👏I was not expecting for another episode to finally come out, but it has made my day! Loved finally seeing some of the villains' hypnotic strengths of some of the villains come into play & seeing all of the newly established relational dynamics/politics of the villains. Am very excited to see what happens once they are actually on their quest with an ocean set, etc. ALSO, loved both the talking & singing parts (as well as the meta-approach to the musical number with Hans & Hook).
This episode was well worth the year long wait. Jafar gets to speak with the queen, Vanessa gets to look cute while seducing Hans, and poor Hans just can’t catch a break from anyone especially the Tremaines or hook. Well done pattycake
Hans: "If you're Captain what does that make me?? The first mate??" Hook: "No, you're more the 13th mate"...as if to point to the fact that Hans has 12 other brothers and is 13th in line to the throne😂😂😂😂😂
This is just so good! Once again I'm blown away by the attention to detail from the actors, the composers, the writers, the people from costumes and scenery and effects and directing and editing. Truly, I appreciate how the team made it their mission to be as faithful as they could to the core of each character. Thanks again for having me grinning like a child.
Someone should do a “Hans being confused and completely done with everyone for eleven minutes” video 😂
The popularity of my comment is remarkable thank you 😊
Now captain hook happy cause he's now a leader in this episode❤😂
I had a feeling Ursula would still have a hand in this.
And Hans: "your description of your daughters wasn't entirely. . . accurate!"🤣
Jafar’s precautions immediately proved their usefulness
I absolutely adore this episode it gave a much deeper insight and build up for more future episodes. May not have been as musically inclined as ep 4 but this song was just straight up fire 🔥 Hopefully well get to see Further interactions between the hans and the gang from ep 3(gaston,frollo and jafar) would love to see their dynamic
the other villains listening to Maleficent and the evil queen fighting in the form of a musical number like it's an everyday thing XD I love it!!
*"Life's not fair"* is a sequel to *"Tough love"* , and I love it! ❤
Captain Hook's actor is perfect so perfect you would guess he is the original actor sounds like he had a blast playing the character. Lady Tremaine's actress is incredible i love how into the character she is and she absoulutly killed it with the rap parts she is super talented.
I'm so glad the villains lair is back. The sketch and the song was definitely worth the wait.
Captian Hook and Lady Tremaine were just clowning on Prince Hans this entire episode and looked amazing doing it.
You gotta love em for it
I know I'm here for it! It has a lot of rewatchability 😂😂
Hans has got a lot to learn about being a true Disney villain. This is just a hazing ritual for him.
Thank you so much to Tony, Layne, and the cast! ♥♥♥
0:30 "Isn't fair." he says.
Did he forget where he stands? He's a Villain. Plus, whoever said anything was fair?
I love how the background music magnifies the intensity of Lady Tremaine's lyrics, mainly because of how dramatic it is.
The first mate??"
Hook: "No, you're more the 13th mate"...as if to point to the fact that Hans has 12 other brothers and is 13th in line to the throne😂😂😂😂😂
Also, it has to be said, nowadays it's incredible I have to look outside Disney to find Disney entertainment. So bless you all for bringing us this magic. And if Disney decides one day to revive their idea of a Disney Villain's show they should seriously take a look at the Villain's Lair and learn a thing or two or three or all of them.
Thank you!
Finally! I've been waiting for this, and it's even better than I expected! Seriously, this blows the Disney live-action movie out of the water. I'm totally digging the Pirates of the Caribbean vibe of the song, and Lady Tremaine's bit is a perfect match for Captain Hook. And the dialogue? Absolutely spot-on. You can really tell there's a ton of effort in the choreography, camerawork, and the scenes. Amazing job!
Scar: "Life's not fair, isn't it?"
No
Think he stowed away on the ship
@@agenttheater5 okay then
@@nicolasfisher4746 whoops, that was meant to be a question, lol!
@@agenttheater5 I got one question for you can you do villains lair season 2 episode 6 for me please?
Hoping this blows up because the work and the result you deliver are the highest quality!
Pattycake productions is amazing. Anyone with eyes can see the amazing and
hard work in that video. Lady Tremaine and Captain Hook voices working very well together.
Fantastic song, acting and story.
My brother-in-law loves Disney Villains! I've got to get him to watch every episode of The Villains Lair. You guys at PattyCake Productions do a masterful job,
This was so much worth the wait
Lady Tremaine made her performance absolutely awesome
Beyond excited to see the next episode of the villains lair!!!!
I Can't wait
That was cold. Exactly what you’d expect from villains. I love all the subplots, the backstories and the betrayal. The character dynamics are superb. Hook and Tremaine was not a duo I thought It’d need in my life. Well done.
I finally realize why I appreciate this pairing! In the Hocus pocus show at Disneyland, the villains all perform, and Hook is paired with the Stepmother when they walk hand in hand down the aisle and perform together, much like this!
I have been waiting for this! The plot, the scenes, the music. It's evil perfection!
Wow that’s bad when even the other villains don’t want to marry the stepsisters!
This is such a fantastic song! The actors are so perfect in their roles too, like the characters had just stepped right out of their respective movies. And the actor who played Hans is really good. I'd love to see him on here more often.
I want to see it, how exciting it is and let's hope they continue like this.
Yeah same here 😊❤
The captain spoke german at 8:41😂😮 "gesundheit"
Also I love that you guys are back. I really love this serie, mostly the Queen and Maleficent. But I'm starting to like Lady Tremaine too❤😊
So glad someone pointed that out! 😂 It shows Captain Hook was just fucking with Hans when he never pronounced Hans name right! 😂
This episode exceeded expectations, Jafars part I was not expecting at all. And Hans being totally lost against the other villains was well done. He needs to level up lol
The long awaited episode i can't wait this makes me SO HYPE😀🥹😭
also Jafar is being suspiscous around the Evil Queen is so in character.
If Elsa and Anna saw that now, they would laugh out loud, Pure Karma.
This was so fun to watch and listen to. Captain Hook and Lady Tremaine seem to make a great team! From the music to the characters, costumes, backgrounds, etc. I can only imagine how much hard work went into this. I love your videos!
Boy, I’ve been dying for another Villains Lair song, and let me tell ya, when they deliver… THEY DELIVER!! ❤😊
Omg! On point and freaking amazing. Pattycake, keep up the fantastic work.
Thank you!
@@pattycakeproductions you are welcome
Damn !!
I was here re watching the old episodes when I suddenly saw this one pop up !
This is as awesome as ever,
Thank you so much for this! I've missed this show!
I was worried there was never gonna be further stories! So happy I'm wrong 😂
Another awesome song with brilliant choreography, epic lyrics, and Hans getting dissed.
Is it my birthday already?
8:04 "Ha! Hold my beer. " SLAYYYY
