Marius back at it with my daily dose of speed-peak Glad you also like this game, I'm actually glad people in general like it, been keeping an eye on it for a while and I REALLY hope it's one of those fan games that gets finished
As someone who's more of a Modern Sonic fan, Classic Sonic deserves to stay as much as Modern Sonic does. The idea of having two separate games for both sides of the franchise (Modern having Frontiers, Classic having Superstars) is a brilliant idea going forward, and I hope Sega doesn't abandon that, because Classic Sonic has so much and a has a timelessness to it's gameplay and aesthetics that Modern Sonic can never touch (nor should it, Modern Sonic is brilliant and timeless in it's own way). I thought Superstars was a great game and more of what I wanted Classic Sonic to be going forward, and quite frankly, I thought it was a better game than Frontiers, at least before all the patches and fixes improved that game considerably anyway. As for this game, it looks so beautiful and sick. This only reinforces my opinion that Sega should never abandon Classic Sonic altogether. There's too much potential and appeal that's being squandered if that don't keep making more games like Mania and Superstars.
@Josuh superstars didn’t sell very well if analytics are to be believed. So we’re worried that Sonic team is just gonna quit making classic Sonic games.
Honestly, I feel that most SA2-Black Knight era Sonic fans are a bit on the obnoxious and pretentious side and unironically think that Sonic games "need" cutscenes in order for it to be "good". Heck, I'll even go as far as to say the writing of those games aren't nearly as expertly crafted as they think they are. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the games from that era, but the classic games are so tightly designed and exude the "simple but endlessly replayable" philosophy of old school Sega that so many in the 90's fell in love with.
@@MariusUrucu yeah i don't agree with completely getting rid of the classic formula. I just hope we can move on from people calling sonic either "classic" or "modern", to me, it's just Sonic regardless of what gameplay style it is.
@@SomeGuy1234X I didn't make Sonic Galactic, just this video showcasing it. A lot of people worked together to make Sonic Galactic, link is in the description with the download page
I feel like the title should be “What if there was a REAL Sonic game on the Saturn” or something like that. But I know bro already changed it cause people where yapping about it so it doesn’t really matter
I already used the Saturn title on another Sonic fangame (I think Sonic Overture or Legends), so I just went with this. I hate I have to make the corniest, clickbaitiest titles just so my videos could have any semblence of traction, at least when it comes to Sonic fangames and mods, but that's just the nature of the beast when it comes to RUclips and the oversaturated Sonic niche.

This has to be the cleanest sonic game I’ve ever seen

So beautiful...really doesn't feel like a fan-made game, incredible!
I like the visuals the most and then the gameplay. Well, I'll be looking forward to this full release :)
Holy shit, the Wily Wars characters. I'll straight lose it if Megs himself pops in.

That’s just sonic to me, not “classic sonic”
Honestly this tweet prompted me to make this title

@@MariusUrucu Honestly I agree with the take. "Classic Sonic" should be an artstyle and nothing else.
@eggbreakerdotexe I can understand not being a fan of the artstyle but "take classic Sonic out back and put him out like a dog" is way overboard.

@@sagecentral1809In a perfect world this wouldn't even be an issue, but ever since Generations came out the divide was made.
Nice
Saga should just let people like you make their games.

Pls tell I’m not the only one who thinks this is a Sonic Cd Reference13:09
Grass shield does a safer mid air attack from sonic 3/cd
Oh shit, someone fixed the drop dash.
to be fair, it's more SEGA can't do it right than Classic being Irrelevant, leave 2D to the Fans while they do 3D
