Hey Jason. I ran a set of LED cube lights on my Pioneer using the OEM backup beeper harness. The cube light at some point had an issue and because of the ground being used to make and break the circuit, caused the computer to get confused about what gear the transmission was in and would go into limp mode. Lesson learned, buy higher quality LED lights.
I want to see what wire they tap off of from that 8 pin connector plug you purchased . I think it is the gray wire that is spliced into. I made my own reverse switch that will handle a hi watt lights for reverse light and side lights , etc without tapping into the trans harness. I used a Much higher rated switch and lighted up my center column where the gear shifter is . Thanks for the video .

Jason- finally got the reverse light set up... works perfectly.. thanks for posting the info and instructions...
Where is the physical reverse switch located , inside the trans? So it is a ground metal contact plate not an actual switch that could malfunction.

How many amps can that supply for lights?
Are they ever going to be offering this again? They've been "sold out" since you made this video.
I’m not sure. You’ll need to reach out to them through the contact information on their store and ask them.
I like that rear bumper you have. Where did you buy that and how much was it?
The one shown in this video is the Honda OEM Steel rear bumper. Got it from my local Honda dealer and eventually bought an HMF rear bumper.
Anyone have any idea when these might be back in stock?
