@@chiragbhardwaj4835 Well I suppose its subjective. If you play any online comp games, you want as much fps as possible, especially if you have a high refresh monitor. And it terms of the current technology, 60fps+ is most easily achievable in 1080P. And personally, I don't see 4k being that great, it's something you notice at first, but ultimately gameplay takes over. I would rather have a super smooth experience with high fps, then a 30 fps 4k experience, which in comparison feels jittery. Unless you only play super casual games and are concerned about visuals over gameplay, then Imo 1080P is easily WAAY more preferable.

I use this laptop and it actually sits around 3.9 ghz and if you raise it a bit from its usual position to give the air intake more space it stays around 65 degree at 4.0 ghz and I got it 612 dollars so I’m happy with it.
Fresh Ozie depends on what you play and on what settings. The most recent game that I played is Quake champions and it runs at 70-80fps at medium settings 1080p. I tried AC Origins it sometimes dipped into the 50s but looked like absolute shit. Also PS2 emulator is running great (depends on game) with 1-3 skipdraws. Other than that I play LoL and CSGO but they are easily in the 140+ area. That said I mainly bought this for music production and for uni, it performs well at that, but I do need a ram upgrade, good thing it came with one 8 gig stick.
I recently bought a G3 15 with i5-8300h, GTX 1060 Max-Q and Thunderbolt 3 port. It was only $749 on sale at Micro Center, and for the price I am amazed at the performance Dell has squeezed into this little machine. The 1060 is what drew me to this model, because everything else in the price range seems to come with a 1050 Ti at best. Yes, the screen leaves something to be desired in terms of color accuracy and brightness, and I did have to add an M.2 Nvme drive for the OS, but it's hard to argue with 60fps on Ultra in GTA V from a 5-ish pound, sub-1-inch laptop. I have a lot of travel coming up later this year for work, and wanted a lightweight laptop that doesn't scream "gamer" but nevertheless has the horsepower to game on the go. And the Dell G3 with GTX 1060 Max-Q delivers. Couldn't be happier with mine.
Me, too, all my gaming (and RUclips viewing) is on a 3 year old bottom of the line Android tablet and I have never paid more than $10 for a game. Ever.
My G3 15 has an 8th gen i7, 24 gigs of DDR4, a 256 gig SSD, a 1920×1080 display at 120hz, and a few more tidbits. I think it's pretty ballin, considering it outclasses all of my friend's desktops.
It's cheap for people who have the money, and who are looking for a very good computer. $850 is really cheap for something you'd want to be able to use for practically everything. But $850 is indeed a lot of money. There's a difference between something being cheap and something costing a lot of money.
Ahhh i see you came to check the review for G3 2019 but disappointed because it's 2018 in the video. Hope they have improved a lot in 2019 version including USB thunderbolt, colour accuracy and thermal management system.
I don't know the model, mine has a 250gb SSD and a 1tb hard drive. Mine has 16 GB of ram and an Intel core i7 8th gen. All the other stats are the same as far as I am concerned.
Hello, may I ask can you recommend which one is better...? DELL G7-87814GHFD-W10-1050Ti or DELL G3-87814GFHD-W10-1050Ti-SSD both are same but the G3 offer SSD and also cheaper. I'm deciding which one is worth to purchase tq
Entry level, huh... Well, kinda. But at the end of the day, alienware and dell are different. Alienware is a subsidiary of dell, but to some extent they're independant in that it's a completely different team that actually makes alienware compared to the dell counterparts(g3). Alienware are way higher quality in various ways. If the g3 was actually made by alienware, I bet they'd be better. But perhaps also slightly more expensive, haha.
@@SvenskaIdioterna Some of the G series laptops (G5 & G7) have similar chassis designs to the Alienwares, just made with different materials. That's why i said "Entry Level"
My friend bought a Dell G3. It’s cool seeing all of our friend’s $600-850 laptops with i5 cpus, 1050 - 1050Ti gpus, and 1080p screens; all topped off with various red, blue, or green backlight colors
I was thinking of buying a g3 from microcenter. It’s $750 or $820 with tax and it has a gtx 1060 max-q and an i5-8300h. It has no ssd, however, there’s an empty m.2 slot and I could get a great 256gb nvme ssd for 70 dollars. Is it worth it?
Absolutely, that’s the best deal I’ve ever heard of, if only I lived in the states, the UKs cheapest laptop with a GTX 1060 New is around £950 including tax
The Inspiron 5577 is a decent laptop, no doubt. I am lucky enough to have a Microcenter located about 15 miles from where I live. I was able to purchase one of these open box for about $500. You definitely need to get an SSD for this computer though, especially since it supports M.2. Actually, I liked the open box deal so much, I bought two of these computers, the second one being for my wonderful other half, who is a teacher at an inner city school, and very much deserves the help (plus, I really wanted to play Fortnite with her).
After 4 years of using this laptop I have to say it was good, very good until it wasn’t my cpu fan has broken twice and I haven’t bothered to get it fixed the second time. Majoring in mechanical engineering I’ve used solid works, fusion 360, and matlab on it and never had issues, battery life isn’t an issue when already expecting to plug it in every where I go but when I can’t it’s definitely not enough. The most taxing games I’ve played on it were apex which it couldn’t handle even at lowest settings, valorant ran fine, Minecraft well it depends on your settings. The hinge is the worst part of the laptop mine is broken badly and I have to squeeze the hinge so it doesn’t crack open as I close it which only became an issue after I had it fixed the first time the cpu fan went out. It’s fans aren’t that loud when running at max. after 4 years of use and abuse it still runs fine I can still game on it even tho I don’t anymore, every time I start it up tho it screams cause the cpu fan isn’t working right but idc not worth buying another laptop for my degree when this can still finish school with me, for my first time ever getting a laptop and having no clue about specs and if it’s priced good or not it’s done me very well.
*Due Tomorrow-Do Tomorrow. A Short Story.* _Why should I have to take English when doing a technical degree?_ It's not like I'm going to ever drop out of school to become a writer for a RUclips channel, that would be insane. So instead I'm going to put the minimum effort into these still soft type of classes where it really isn’t going to matter if I’m ever any good at them. Overall I think that it would be adventagous for everyone if instead I used this time to become better at coding, sine that is something that I might actually use lol. But overall the real reason that people need the English language is so that they can woo potential mates, since a girl isn’t going to like you if your constantly using bad grammar. _C is for degree_ So now lets get to the meat of this, I’m never going to be good at short stories due to a general lack of effort put in, and all that I need is a C to get out of this hellish, creative writing hole. Like I know my English prof doesn’t care that I am turning in hot garbage because he is one of the best but all he does is smoke weed and think
I got dell g3. 16gb ram 512 ssd. Runs smoothly. Doesn't look that flashy so as a uni student I like its look. I'd recommend this to my friends. Doesn't take my entire year saving to buy this and yet provides very smooth flow when using.
Was in the process of determining if I REALLY wanted to go for a G3, so I watched this video. The answer came to a Yes when he said go with whichever is on sale. I prefer the subdued look vs gamer look, and $650 on sale is a pretty damn good on sale price. $690 after tax, I'm like k, fine, yup. The Nitro hadn't even made it onto my radar due to the look of it. If I were 20 again I'd go for the Nitro, but at 32, I'm gonna be fine with the look that doesn't single me out as a loser. I'm still a fucking loser, but fuck it, my laptop can at least look respectable.
I use the G3 15 inch for the exact same thing, and it was a really good choice for me, aswell. No competition, both laptops are great. I am a little bias tbh, because.. well... I own the G3.

It's great. 40 FPS on 10 year old games (and I'm not even talking Crysis) is great. Still, what about APU people?
Well intergrated gpus are getting better like at intel iris and vega 8+
Not to mention, they're usually inexpensive, good news for us people who will mostly utilize that decent GPU.
JG14 Gerhard_Bar Vega integrated graphics are shit and don't even get me started about intel integrated graphics
2400G life, its alright. Better than spending money on a real gpu at the moment.

I use this laptop and it actually sits around 3.9 ghz and if you raise it a bit from its usual position to give the air intake more space it stays around 65 degree at 4.0 ghz and I got it 612 dollars so I’m happy with it.
Shariq Ahmad khan good for you 👏🏻👏🏻
hard to tell if sarcastic or not
Shariq Ahmad khan same here, just buy a laptop cooler or standoff and it'll be fine
How does it perform in gaming?
Answer: Yes.

Meaty Gaming, its a joke.
Joke went over his head.
If this laptop is cheap. Then you can say that I barely have any money.
It's cheap for people who have the money, and who are looking for a very good computer. $850 is really cheap for something you'd want to be able to use for practically everything. But $850 is indeed a lot of money. There's a difference between something being cheap and something costing a lot of money.
can build better desktop for cheaper.
I dare you to do it. You won't succeed.
Avana yes you can build a better PC for $575
slide man Did you include the cost of a monitor and keyboard with that?
So its a normal laptop for a normal person
Yep
Like all Dells ever. Nondistinct, boring, partially functional Windows boxen with a boring round logo on the back. Like my Inspiron.
Can i run games on high-ultra graphics
Pretty much. As long as I can game, I'm satisfied.
Ahhh i see you came to check the review for G3 2019 but disappointed because it's 2018 in the video. Hope they have improved a lot in 2019 version including USB thunderbolt, colour accuracy and thermal management system.
Well now price is only 650 of the laptop which makes great I can't find anything under 800 with these specs

Hey, we are G3 buddies. Which model do you own?
I don't know the model, mine has a 250gb SSD and a 1tb hard drive. Mine has 16 GB of ram and an Intel core i7 8th gen. All the other stats are the same as far as I am concerned.
Ah I see, I went for the i5 because it cheaper and it is all I need. I see it lasting me a decade.
Hello, may I ask can you recommend which one is better...?
DELL G7-87814GHFD-W10-1050Ti or DELL G3-87814GFHD-W10-1050Ti-SSD
both are same but the G3 offer SSD and also cheaper. I'm deciding which one is worth to purchase tq
i have an acer chromebook, it can rush some basic flash games most of the time. sorry for flexing.
Its like a National Geographic documentary 😂😂
I call the G series an "entry level" Alienware without the badge and Alienware prices.
Acer Nitro aka "entry level" Predator

If not can I have some laptop recommendations around that price point
Neil worth it
Absolutely, that’s the best deal I’ve ever heard of, if only I lived in the states, the UKs cheapest laptop with a GTX 1060 New is around £950 including tax
Bruh, get it. In Norway I cant get anything like that even close to that price.
I got a gt 1060 for 20 bucks lol an old man was selling his sons stuff at a yard sale
I use a A Dell Inspiron 1500 with an i5 7th generation, and a GTX 1050, 8 GB ram, and 1 TB storage.
Lentriox lol we have the same one xd
I have the same one, do u guys know if it supports a nvme m.2??

A Short Story.*
_Why should I have to take English when doing a technical degree?_
It's not like I'm going to ever drop out of school to become a writer for a RUclips channel, that would be insane.
_C is for degree_
So now lets get to the meat of this, I’m never going to be good at short stories due to a general lack of effort put in, and all that I need is a C to get out of this hellish, creative writing hole. Like I know my English prof doesn’t care that I am turning in hot garbage because he is one of the best but all he does is smoke weed and think
Dell must be paying good coz this is the best ad on dell I seen
I got dell g3. 16gb ram 512 ssd. Runs smoothly. Doesn't look that flashy so as a uni student I like its look. I'd recommend this to my friends. Doesn't take my entire year saving to buy this and yet provides very smooth flow when using.
Very creative and well crafted video.
Thanks for putting in the WORK!

I have an Acer Nitro 5. I use it for video editing and gaming, and it was a really good choice for me.
I use the G3 15 inch for the exact same thing, and it was a really good choice for me, aswell. No competition, both laptops are great. I am a little bias tbh, because.. well... I own the G3.
