I've been following your Aussie videos and this one popped up in my feed. The desert landscape around your hometown is really interesting - a mix of the Blue Mountains, the Kimberley, the Twelve Apostles and King's Canyon, yet different again from any of them 😊
Wow so you're from the Arizona desert! Lots of fresh air but I guess it wouldn't rain much there. I must put the States on my bucket list. Keep having fun in Oz. Cheers
Beautiful scenery. It reminds me of some walks I took around Northern Territory (in Australia) earlier this year. You guys will have to come visit us down here one day.
I am from Australia an Sedona is my most favourite place I have visited in the US. I have been there 3 times. It has the most amazing landscape and the town is so memorable. The contrast in colours are amazing. It reminds me of the colours from the far North West in Western Australia 0 which you have seen. I have a coffee table book on Sedona to remind me of this special place.
Monsoons this year have been unusually heavy, which is good. For the last several years, it has been much drier than in this video. Everything looks a bit more beige/brown usually.
Yes the Grand Canyon vibes all over , the orange tinge soil and rocks , the layers , cactii , God Bless the great state of Arizona , Tia , Chev and all their loved ones , on to the next adventure 😁
solo Amtraked around USA in 2013 for 6 weeks and was based in Flagstaff for 1 one them... rented a car and drove down the valley to Sedona ... WOW what a drive... relived all my adolescent cowboy movies growing up in Adelaide in the early 60s
After watching your Australian trip, currently at Cairns, my first thought was OMG your driving on the wrong side of the road !! Haha, enjoy your Aussie trip
Omg I can't believe you are back, and going 2 travel again oh man I just can't wait 2 see the new videos you guys are the best, and your videos are so beautiful and relaxing
Thank you for sharing a bit of home with us and family in the last few posts. It’s great to see you in your element and what beautiful scenery. Look forward to watching the new adventures and from a fellow over excited traveller keep being you. Mine was the size of places like cities with bigger population than New Zealand, places that were 100s of years older than our country/ even was etc.
Usually the different, really good tortillas are because they've been pan fried with lard. My favorite way, by the way, of prepping tortillas, but not that common since the larger restaurants try to be more health conscious...
Hahaha great video, have fun squishing all your stuffs in your bags. I getcha about everything wants to hurt you Australia can be like that out in the donga too 🤣🤣 I'm excited to see where you go next.
Spectacular scenery! Wow! Loved it! You guys are so lucky to live in such an amazing place. I've always wanted to see the U.S. I've mentally added Sedona to my list! Nice surprise at the end lol.
Hello Tia & Cheveyo 😍Wonderful you were able to catch up and spend time with family. Your hometown Sedona and the scenery looks amazing. Wow mexican food looks delicious take care look forward to watching your continued journey love you guys 😍
I’ve never been to Sedona but I’ve taken road trips round the US a few times and passed through Arizona every time. Notable memories include sunset crater volcano, meteor crater and flagstaff. I also really liked the Very Large Array in New Mexico.
Wow thats so cool.. We loved Sedona after driving thru to Vegas via the grand canyon.. We are going back just to Sedona for a holiday in the future, such a beautiful place..
I have been watch your you tube for long time , I am from Flagstaff Arizona !! i am Thai .Right now i am in Thailand . It is very nice to know you are from Sedona, I hope to see you someday !!!
What a coincidence, the first video that RUclips recommended for me is your Taiwan's Vlog, and found out your hometown is Sedona. We just got back from Sedona to Taiwan last week ❤, would definitely try that Mexican restaurant next time we visit.
Hi. You possibly won’t see this as it is so much in the past ( I am just laying catch up after getting sucked in after your Oz trip). But thank you for sharing your experiences. Sedona looks beautiful( I can understand the love of seeing landscapes that are red vs green…if you are curious check out around Broken Hill in Australia). In some ways the last few videos, about you all and tips have been Moree interesting than normal ( although I love them all, you are living my dream) but if I e been r go to the US I wil be sure to check Sedona out. You live on. A beautiful part of the world. Enjoy your travels
Curious question, why did you park right next to the other car and not leave a gap? Carpark and Men's toilets have the same rules, leave a gap. Well in Australia anyway.
loved to see ur hometown! i come from a little town in jutland, denmark, so i would be starstruck if i saw those mountains on ur hike!:) cant wait to see where u go next. im leaving for a 6 month trip around southeast asia in two days:) so ur videos have been a huge inspiration
Thank-you so much for the small glimpse into your hometown Chev & Tia!!! Sedona, AZ is wonderful!!! Plus I know where to find some great Mexican food now too!!😁😋😄
Great Mexican food - then a hike...good balance 😂Sedona looks like a really pretty place! Very different to what we've ever seen 😊 The hike was ssooooo beautiful wow! Loved the family subscribe at the end 😂
The scenery is beautiful! I lived in Utah for a year and we used to go camping in Moab and Zion national parks which look a bit similar to Sedona. I love the red rocks! Lovely to see where you're from and to see your family ☺️
“…everything wants to hurt you!” (wears sandals hiking) I hope you two drop down to Uluru in Australia, because you may enjoy the same same but very different to Sedona.
Fun seeing Sedona! We had no idea it was so small - it's very popular for being relatively small! Dying to know about your new gear. We have some guesses. 😂 😂
Great video. Fantastic time lapse. The SW has such stunning contrasts and magical light. Where you using polarizing filters or ND filters. The colors are fantastic. You color grading now?
No ND filters (though we do want to experiment with them). We are color grading now, though! We have been avoiding it for a while because it takes time, but it's definitely worth it.
I’ve been up to Sedona a few times but have not been on a hike or any outdoor trips, even though that was the plan. Didn’t realize you guys were from Arizona. We have started our travels and are now in Mongolia 🇲🇳 . Maybe our path will cross in the future.
Have you guys ever thought of doing merch to help fund and extend your travels and our viewing enjoyment. I thinl your logo would loom awesome on hoodies and t shirts..
You guys are so lucky you're from such a cool place!! I've really wanted to go to Sedona for years now......buttttt traveling outside the states is so much easier than in the states 🤣 maybe one day!
Love Sedona! Been there many a time! There is def something special about that place! You mentioned your dad was on his way to Sturgis. Will he be posting his travels anywhere? I’m from the Black Hills, but have recently moved away. Would love to see what he thinks! The Black Hills are truly amazing, something special about them as well! Safe travels to u both, can’t wait for your new adventure!!
He is! Going with a friend. He probably won't hang around the rally much, knowing him. But he loves it up there, and always says how beautiful the Black Hills are. We keep pestering him to start making videos! If he does, we'll definitely link them here 🙂
My neighbor is a biker/Harley rider and into the Sturgis scene. He invited me to go, but I was more interested in the ride than the destination. I didn't spend much time in Sturgis, rather continued on to Glacier National Park all the way up to Jasper in Canada.
@@allthebestparts7629Wow! That sounds like an amazing trip! I can’t say I blame you for not spending time in Sturgis. It gets pretty crazy there! I do hope you made it thru the badlands, needles highway, and over to Devil’s tower! I can’t believe you rode all the way up to Canada! Very impressive!
Wow, Sedona is beautiful. I might have to make it there for hiking one day. Btw, I don’t know why that I thought you, guys are Canadians all this time.
As someone from the Phoenix area who has been living in Vietnam the past 6 years, Mexican food is what I miss most. Luckily I'll be going back for a visit in September and expect to put on a couple of pounds

Sedona is very scenic. Been there a few times over the years.
