Funny in the Japanease animated serie : Choujin Masterforce they are called Hydra and the other brother his Buster and they can combine to be Darkwing. They are Godmaster because their human form can combine with their vehicule mode to be way more powerful. Later in the show the robot got a life of its own and didn't need the humain anymore.
Parents can be so gruesome, back when i was a kid i had the same Situation with powermaster doubledealer which i found, i believe it had been for 12 Bugs, and I had 15 in my pocket but my Mom said, first i need to save money, and second, i was getting to old for Transformers :/
What i like from darkwing is ..it has great jet tornado mode..but in robot mode it only could stand..not poseable toy..but the plastic material in those day are awesomely thick and rigid..unlike todays toys plastics..
Hoping someday some 3rd party toy companies would get us a modernized Dreadwind and Darkwing. Powermasters is my favourite g1 transformers series of all time!
fun fact in the original mater force dark wings was the collective name of these two this one and dreadwing were known as hydra and buster also they're brothers
The tab that locks the leg in robot mode just LOVES to break off and shatter to pieces, so dont transform this 1 too often or this 1 will break, sorry :(
***** i had mine since mint in box straight from the store, and i didnt transform it often but it did break on me after about 5 transformations and i didnt use any force at all. But other than that the other leg held together just fine during many years until 1 day when i decided to trade him away for a batman figure.
Darkwing duck/ductales and scott pilgrim reference 0-0
also rip hydra and buster (at the end of master force they gave up their humanity)
I am having trouble getting the Powermaster out. Any help!?! He is stuck.
Bit tipsy from the birthday still are we? :p
He broke his legs and fell on a plane, breaking him free from his curse? AWESOME!
Just found these two at my local thrift store with a few other friends. Thanks for helping me figure out how to put them together.
I think there are Kabaya kits coming in May
what G1 toy didn't have kibble? optimus prime. because he's awesome.
0:22 Darkwing Duck reference ftw.
him folded looks like Blitzwing
"He's not being rude to you, i promise, i promise"
I don't know this transformers back story, but I'm sure I like your version better Peaugh.
Saw a Darkwind rebrand in 2007 Toys R Us.
Love the focus on Throttle.
Story time with Peaugh!!! Thanks for the look at this really cool figure and thanks for the silly story. I appreciate silly stories.
can the power of the primes version of dreadwind and darkwing comebine? just curious.
Peaugh, you weren't taking cold medicine recently, were you? =P
Also, that' Pac-Man is not nearly sad enough.

I must say, Peaugh's size comparisons are not what they used to be anymore...
peaugh what model of jet are dreadwind and darkwing?
I might have to subscribe just because of the random talk about Throttle.
4:14 Hasbro and Bandai Namco (Bandai) Collaboration
The Japanese cartoon animated this quite well
You know what else is weird? Is when Spider Man doesn't blink his eyes.
The Scott pilgrim references!
I've had one for like a year now and I only just now realized he has the wrong guns!
wish got my new i want 2 little robot good thing only pay $1.00 at yardsale 8 year ago 4 both
Cool, I just got him Saturday at the flea market.
He is the parking meter that expires while you shop.
Automorph before it was cool!
It's a Panavia Tornado, trust me
They brofist in combined mode
Is he the best toy of 1988?
are one of the writers for cartoon network
soooo cool, yet soooo expensive.
How much was this for?
So, i'm wondering if this is based on an F-14, or a Tornado!
Definitely a Tornado!

dang dude this thing looks to be in amazing shape
He really is. I was super stoked when I pulled him from and Dreadwind from the box and saw what great shape they were in.

I so can sympathize with that story. At a store as a kid you see the Toy you been wanting and no matter how much you ask the answer was NO.
Out of smoke and one of the funniest Transformer reviews appears!
I've got both of these guys plus Optimus with Hi-Q

i transform my hole lot and have not break yet
That only breaks when someone doesn't follow the instructions or is too rough with the toy. If you do it right, nothing should break at all. :P

Back kibble?
On the *back*? :o
AWESOME!
I miss when Transformers had thick ABS plastic. Today they are very light and brittle.
