Fun fact from an Earlham College Alumni: in addition to having the longest NCAA losing streak, Earlham had one of the largest margins of victory in college football history. On November 10th 1900 (yes, literally over 100 years ago) they played Eastern Indiana Normal University of Muncie (apparently a real school’s actual name) and beat them 139-0.

Oberlin also had about the worst boys basketball program in the 1990s winning only 1 or 2 games a season. The only sports they ever did anything well in were soccer and field hockey. Those losing skids in the 1990s, the quarterback was usually a cellist major at the school's conservatory, so an injury to a hand would be horrible. They just could not get fulbright and Rhodes scholars to play football.
