- Microvision ($MVIS) had an investor day where Sumit Sharma and Anubhav Verma stood for three whole hours and answered questions about LiDAR directly, in person, from heavy investors.
This is that investor meeting question and answer session in full, un-edited.
IF you want to support my channel and my flights across the country to investigate this company and things like this - you can buy my scissors; literally general purpose, regular scissors, they were a project for an Amazon FBA business where I was crushed by Big Scissors.. Link just below the video!)
Im writing up my takeaways into a much shorter video that will be up this week.
I've watched this 10 times and each time it gets better
I am very analytical. I study people for a living. To see and hear for me is invaluable . Thank you for your efforts! There are so many Easter eggs in this discussion . It's gift. All I can say. Pure gift!🎉❤
Thanks SS
1:11:01 Physics talk
Thank you!!
I’m with mvis from last 5 years .. very disappointed
Thank you! I've already listened to the audio but will definitely give this watch too
Did you film the test drive???
I did. I’ll be putting up a video about my takeaways from the meeting and that ride later this week.
Lmao I love the scissors plug in the description, wheres the link? I want some
Down with big scissors!!
CHEERS SDW
Cheers!
They're keeping a tight lip on something!
Did anyone ask about the Jaguar/LRR cooperation?
Strangely, no. No one did.
What happened at the 7:25 second mark where it was asked if sumit was driving this idea? Thought this wasn't edited?
That was a poorly timed slip of my hand when I panned over and I hit the record stop button, must have been a short answer.
It happened one other time when I got up to go to the back of the room and eat lunch.
There is an audio recording on microvisions website you could scrub through to find that answer, but it was just a receding error, not a bad answer I took out on purpose or anything.
Is microvision same microvision that started a crypto called space? Can you confirm?
btw chart mvis looks seriously primed. dip to 1,5 and/or below $1 first
They are not related. And how weird for me that a crypto called microvision started with the name space, when my name is space and I talk about microvision.
@@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE YES, this lol. how do you know theyre unrelated?
@@vintaeg because as you can see in this video we’re commenting on, I have close access to Microvision. They are very clear that they are putting ALL of their focus on automotive Lidar. They are a public company with a board of directors and if they were to be offering a new asset, such as a cryptocurrency, that would have to be publicly announced and voted on. It hasn’t been.
I want to have hope for this company but it's hard with all the flip flopping they do.
While the stock price has flipped and flopped, the company has been driving in almost a perfectly straight line, hitting all the marks they set on their outlook.
MVIS going straight to 0 this year or the next. you have been warned.
Appreciate your concern. But saying “this year” is like saying Microvision is going to start selling furniture instead of Lidar this year; they’ve announced their burn rate and bank account and have run way through the middle of 2024.
Which sort of puts your warnings in the category of ‘noise.’
Correct. The company has no customers and 0 income. That isn't sustainable.
@@jnavonoD of course having no customers isn’t sustainable. The company very recently finished creating the technology that they sell and are currently in meetings with potential customers.
That’s how a brand new technology goes. At some point in the past, Apple had no customers; they worked for some number of months on creating a personal computer, spent lots of money without making anything, then showed it to the world and one day found customers.
Microvision is meeting with OEMs. I’ve literally been there when they do it, when I left my meeting with the CFO at CES, they were setting up for a private meeting with a potential customer. There is no speculation, on my part, at least.
@@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE LOL false equivalence with Apple. Microvision has been in meetings with potential customers since forever, but nothing ever came to much. Go back to the Tokman days, these guys have been 'developing new technology' nobody wants or needs for a lot longer than you've been involved. 30 years of producing nothing.
@@jnavonoD oh for sure. But I’m talking about the current team. New CEO, new CFO and a Lidar market that car companies have been very clear about wanting. Lidar is inevitable; of course it remains to be seen who will win the majority of the contracts but the whole reason I’m flying across the country to go to these demonstrations is to pick the right horse.
If your research is equally involved, I welcome your input! But if you’re just going to talk about what xerox did in the 90’s it isn’t relevant. (They invented the GUI and using a mouse, for context)
So tired of mvis
I’m ready to be at a price that I’ll be happy selling it as well! Wonder what that’ll actually be.
@@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE ehay would you say that price range is?
@@akshaypatel518 I haven’t actually made that plan yet. I really need to choose ahead of time, when things start to move- where do I make my exit.
@SPACE DESIGN WAREHOUSE yh same. I want to average down with the low asf prices, but exit plan is probably around 2025 when SS set those multiple prices targets. If we even hit one at this point ill be hapoy but best case is obv the highest target but who knows. We were already fisted with change in direction from SS when first acquisition probably fell through
