I did got one in Gothenburg 60 years ago and it did last for ca 40 years! BarbroSweden
Don't listen to her, you make the hole before it sets up. You also just pack the sugar to make a thick wall but not the whole egg or it sets up and you brake the egg when spooning it out.
extra fine or castor sugar works a bit better
