Thw first time I heard this song I bawled from the first line. I'm 4 years sober now but was a fifth of whiskey a day alcoholic. The moment I heard those words I lost it. So beautiful

Hey guys, healthcare adjacent worker in NYC here. It's been such a difficult few months and our director told us earlier today to start battening down the hatches for a second wave of infections. I am so tired and desperately in need of a vacation, but even stretching the available resources to the limit I feel like I am lucky to get a couple days off a week by the skin of my teeth at best. Anyways, I discovered this song at the beginning of the pandemic, and I'll admit the current situation hasn't been great for my drinking, but your music here really matters to me. Work right now feels like an infinity. I just wanted to mention that art and music matter and those of us in the trenches need you, please keep it up. God this sucks

In the mind of writing a novel about a group of migrants (hobos) traveling across America and this song is the most inspiring song for it ❤❤ it's about some guys going through some hard times and as they journey across the u.s they realise its the company they're with that makes it beautiful all inspiration from songs like this man
