I mean... do you know what happens to people who come between the Spanish and their tomatoes? Bad things....
The intensity about how this man speaks about tomato is what’s needed in everyone’s lives. That shit was magical.
The number 1 ingredient in spain is the tomato.
Life is too short to leave out the garlic. If a girl is offended by it, she was never the right one, anyway.
True words
You don't need anyone that doesn't appreciate good food and good ingredients in your life.
amen
Munchies if you don't bring this guy back for more videos I will dislike every video you have ever released
Including this one!?
Munchies, do not negotiate with terrorists.
@@TheOnlyValken Just do what they're asking for, you're right!

Agreed! This guy is freaking awesome lol
This man is a master at storytelling, born for it, you are enticed to keep listening; a true gift of his nature.

love jose and his passion for life ,food and just talking/teaching .
Love to see recipes that glorify simple, basic vegetarian dishes.
I love a good steak or rack of lamb, but I really like to see all aspects of cooking highlighted. Well done!
The part about tomato consent is awe-inspiring
I love your enthusiasm! And you can't hide your good heart... Bravo!
Now I need to see this guy and Gennaro Contaldo in the same room showing more love over tomatoes than my parents ever showed me.

Why don't YOU have your own TV show? Jose' I've never had the pleasure of meeting you but I've eaten at your restaurant on LaCienga, which is out of this world good. I'm friend's with a lot of chef's and maybe even some friends you frequent with so I don't know why we haven't met yet.
I'm always hearing about your philanthropic events, like what you doing for Puerto Rico and other unfortunate disaster-stricken areas.
You are so fun, so cool and of course, you know, so very talented.
Thank you for all you do and I hope to have the pleasure of meeting you one day soon! Life is short, we have to eat, you make it real and so fun.I may be only saying what I think, but I also think I am speaking for every one of my fellow viewers who have been delighted by seeing you in action in this video, hearing your philosophy, wit and clever sense of humor. May I be so bold in saying that for me and my fellow viewers, "We love you mucho."
"Yeah MotherFucker You already cut me " 🤣 this my new best friend
Does anyone else get a Chef Gusteau from Ratatouille kind of vibe from this guy?
I feel like he's got more energy and passion than that dude.
Best compliment I've ever heard sir
5:26 Tomato caviar right there. I love the passion Jose brings to the kitchen. Thanks for the upload.
Jose is just one of the best people on the planet. I worked for a lot of good chefs when I was still in the industry but never someone that was such an incredible character.
With all due respect, José Andrés, your wife is right: the traditional (tomato) gazpacho is made with no bread. In salmorejo, the bread serves two purposes: to recycle dry bread and to make the dish heavier, thicker, more filling and rich in calories. But gazpacho is a drink, meant to provide workers with water and mineral salts that they lose in the work under the harsh sun of Andalusia. That's why you add water to the gazpacho and you definetely do not add any bread. Of course, you are free to introduce any change you wish to, but then it is no longer a traditional gazpacho. All the best from Córdoba.
I am from Sevilla and most people I know add a bit (a lot less than when you make salmorejo) of bread to gazpacho
And... gazpacho is a cold soup... you can drink it (on a deep plate like you will do with any hot soup) but you can add solid toppings and eat it... it is what we call “sopeao”
Gazpacho it is a traditional dish with so many ways to make it and to eat it as number of families there are
In my family gazpacho is always without bread and we drink it from a glass. No soup, it's a drink. With ice cubes if possible. It's meant to be refreshing. I know it's made in a lot of different ways, but in my opinion it kinda makes no sense to add bread. It just becomes a soup indeed
In Cordoba I ate the best Gazpacho but it was thick not thin like a drink. It also is traditionally served with jamon and cheese as far as I know. Tradition may change with time
@@papakabanpur395 Everyone here has his/her own way of making it, but if you ate it in a restaurant chances are that you ate salmorejo, not gazpacho. As for the cheese, I have never seen it (I have lived in Córdoba for 45 years), but of course there is no law about it, I am glad you enjoyed it!
Jose, I could literally watch you cook forever. Thank you for everything you do for people and for your craft.
Love it. He’s wonderfully bonkers! You can tell he has a lot of passion for what he does.
He talks to his ingredients just like Bob from Bob’s Burgers 😂

I love him, and his enthusiasm!!
Easily the best recipe video I have ever seen
This is my fourth time watching . His storytelling through food is exquisite
Absolutely Yes!
Everyone here is saying how humourous the chef is, but what I see is the chef using fleur de sel in his dish, which only shows that he is passionate and serious about cooking and his dish ;using the finest ingredient
im in love with this guy. que hombre
I couldn’t love him more!💗
This guy rocks my world! Great cooking, great storytelling! So much inspiration.
One of the best chefs and human beings in the world!!!
I love this guy. Absolute beautiful soul! Thank you kind sir. I have to make this!
I could watch this guy for hours.
Amazing.
I used to teach this to my students. Most fruits & veggies Already have marks on them where you need to cut
Please give me a hint for watermelon for finding the seed lines. I wonder if there's another way without carving out the center of a half to figure out where those seeds are. Or maybe there's a even a completely different method to cut a watermelon.
Jesus I almost cried no bs during the tomato heart scene this chef needs a Disney movie
I just told my husband that when I leave him for a chef, it won't be Ramsay! Definitely José!
Hell yeah
We need more people like this guy in the world. What a dude!
I love your direct unfiltered commentary and recipe.

Brilliant man!
Mad love for Jose Andres ! He is the real deal chef and human being. Hope to see more of him on this channel. Cheers!! 👏
Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's about time you had Chef Jose Andres on your show. It is long over due.
U really like him guys, im so glad. Some olive oil is the key for everything really... If u cannot afford it just treasure the bottle for seasoning and fry with sunflower. (U can reuse the olive oil for frying many times if u dont burn bit, no color change allowed)
For real, don't throw away the tomato seeds. They are like vegan caviar. Some salt, some olive oil and they are great.
try with a teeny drop of soy sauce, let the salt diffuse in, it's like a double whammy of umami, with fresh and slight tangy taste. Really good. Please try it :)
who the fuck throws away tomato seeds
The Code Provider Its like the best part
This guy is a Spanish national treasure.
Chef José Andrés is the best!!!
This is the passion that you love in a chef
I love José! Awesome chef! Even better humanitarian!
Thank you Jose Andres, this recipe is fabulous. I am an admirer of your cooking and of your great causes! ❤
Hi
This is the BEST video I have ever seen on Munchies! So funny, so informative and even a bit philosophical :) I was never a fan of gazpacho, but chef Andres has convinced me to give it another shot - especially with those little tomato seed caviar things! Describing it as a liquid salad instead of a cold soup is a good idea.
Jose Andres is my kitchen Spirit Guide
You have a beautiful
This is the BEST episode I have evere seen! Thanks a lot! :))
A true artist. It was a pleasure watching.
Nice! I love how there are actually so many variations of Gazpachos. I put bell peppers, onion and cilantro in mine, it's a whole new level but have some gum ready cuz it's gonna be strong.
Jose' you are my spirit animal and thank you for this birthday present!
I love this man! more of hime please!
José andrès everything he do he's telling a story through food!
Esto se llama amor al arte. We love you Chef!
Love this guy.

I was a bit suspicious of this recipe, then I discovered "World Central Kitchen" when I was checking your credentials. I hadn't heard of you before.
Tomorrow, I will be watching "We Feed People" with my family.
So, I will be making a donation, and I'll try your Gazpacho on Sunday!
Dios los bendiga
