    Nice physical/mental image to have as a player. Back when I was a player, every warm-up every day, included a focus of the air starting the sound on the lips. Never thought of a buzz-forward image...it might have helped me more. Good video!

    i dig this, matt vaughn of the philadelphia orchestra kind of describes it as throwing a baseball. instead of trying to control the sound you just let it go.

    I think this is similar to Charlie Porter's idea of not playing on the 'red' which helps with endurance, high notes, flexibility, and sound.

    What are your thoughts about mpc buzzing for practice? Yay or nay?

      I don't do it much myself at the moment. I come back to it every once in a while
