So good to see Soumah and Giant Steps still producing great wines. We visited from the US in 2018 and totally enjoyed visiting several of the Yarra Valley producers. Especially recall the Giant Steps Applejack Vineyard Pinot Noir--- most amazing aroma with notes of forest floor and oolong tea. Thanks for posting your video.

Happy you liked the video. Yes, those two are very consistent in terms of quality. We also love trying their more unusual blends.

Kindly like to ask if you need to make a booking for the wine tasting in advance? Or just walk in?

We didn’t prebook any of the tastings however, we went during off season. I know Soumah is walk in only but the others can be booked in advance.

We're headed there next month and I'd love to try out that cheese. Do you remember the name of the Fromagerie? The only one I'm finding on google in Healesville is called Cheesemonger Sophie. Does that sound right?

It’s simply called Fromagerie. I am not sure why they are not listed on google but they are right beside Barrique Wine Store.

Have to mention, you avoided 3 locations, however you went to DeBortoli, one of the most tourist trap winerys in Yarra Valley. You need to research better. DeBortoli is known for mass produced low value wine and their restaurant is very low quality. If you are genuine about helping tourists, you can do much better.

Thank you for taking time to leave a comment. Have you actually watched the video? Did we recommend de bortoli wines or their restaurant? We wanted our viewers to try the Noble one tasting because where else can you try botrytis wine at different vintages for that price? And please feel free to make your own video about the Yarra Valley. I’m sure more people will benefit from your expertise that way rather than just the comments section.
