He doesn't have the damage accumulated from fights and weightcuts + he is still training hard, stories of his sparring in gyms in the MMA community would lead you to believe he's still as good, if not better. Before Khabib came along, George was seen as the greatest MMA wrestler, even though his background is of a striker. GSP fans want this fight the most though as if GSP beats Khabib, he is undoubtedly the undisputed GOAT. It furthers Khabib's case and would probs be the biggest fight ever (possibly barring Conor v Khabib 2), but it doesn't make Khabib undisputed GOAT since people will George was out of his prime and retired.

And he might be out of his prime but his prime was so much better than everyone else that we don’t know how much he’s slipped. Also he’s coming from a higher weight class and has been known for shutting down great wrestlers. Wrestlers much bigger than Khabib. Also it would most likely be the last fight for both of them, so winner-take-all and retire as champ. It would be interesting to see if GSP could win a third title or if Khabib will go undefeated.

So here is my take on the GSP v Khabib match 1- did you all see GSP at middleweight? He had zero problems physically handling Bisping. And in the grappling aspect there was nothing to compare. 2-GSP was trained in boxing by Freddy Roach arguably on of the best teacher/coaches out there add that to a pedigree in kyokushin karate. 3- GSP is an super advanced grappler, perhaps the greatest to ever be in the octagon, he has trained with some of the highest level Olympic wrestlers and rolled with some of the best BJJ practitioners. He has had some amazing subs in the octagon (don’t take my word go check it out while you are on the tube. 4-The preparation and training regimens that he goes through are beyond any other fighter in UFC. With that an extremely high fight IQ and 2 coaches in Firas Zahabi and Greg Jackson that are quite often referred to as the best in the game and are in his corner. 5- Even at MW his cardio was pretty descent at WW there was never an issue with cardio, he out conditioned all his opponents, so at LW he will be able to throw an insurmountable pace that no opponent of Khabibs has ever been able to achieve. With all these factors considered you would have to believe that GSP could very well defeat Khabib and prove once and for all that he is the true GOAT.

I don't understand why everyone is saying that Khabib has only two more fights. Earlier this year just before Khabib vs Ferguson, Khabib said that he is in his prime and he is not retiring soon. He also said in a video that his father wants him to move to Welterweight. I can see him as two division champion.

Before Khabib came along, George was seen as the greatest MMA wrestler, even though his background is of a striker. GSP fans want this fight the most though as if GSP beats Khabib, he is undoubtedly the undisputed GOAT. It furthers Khabib's case and would probs be the biggest fight ever (possibly barring Conor v Khabib 2), but it doesn't make Khabib undisputed GOAT since people will George was out of his prime and retired.

So here is my take on the GSP v Khabib match
1- did you all see GSP at middleweight? He had zero problems physically handling Bisping. And in the grappling aspect there was nothing to compare.
2-GSP was trained in boxing by Freddy Roach arguably on of the best teacher/coaches out there add that to a pedigree in kyokushin karate.
3- GSP is an super advanced grappler, perhaps the greatest to ever be in the octagon, he has trained with some of the highest level Olympic wrestlers and rolled with some of the best BJJ practitioners. He has had some amazing subs in the octagon (don’t take my word go check it out while you are on the tube.
4-The preparation and training regimens that he goes through are beyond any other fighter in UFC. With that an extremely high fight IQ and 2 coaches in Firas Zahabi and Greg Jackson that are quite often referred to as the best in the game and are in his corner.
5- Even at MW his cardio was pretty descent at WW there was never an issue with cardio, he out conditioned all his opponents, so at LW he will be able to throw an insurmountable pace that no opponent of Khabibs has ever been able to achieve.
With all these factors considered you would have to believe that GSP could very well defeat Khabib and prove once and for all that he is the true GOAT.

Abdullah Khoirunizam khabib is not a legend lmao. He has only beat like 4 big name guys. Everyone else he fought were a bunch of nobody’s no one even knew who khabib was until he fought Conor lol. He dosent have a single knockout on his resume that is not legend status

Lilliam Pumpernickel an unpopular opinion is that Khabib isn’t the Goat and tbh I think that to he’s fought Conor someone who everyone says is trash, Dustin he’s good, Michael Johnson a gatekeeper, Prime RDA, Al Iquina a real a state agent who did MMA on his spare time on less than 2 weeks notice, and Edson Barboza he’s good.
