GSP beat 3 generations of welterweights, 5 former undisputed champs across 3 divisions, 4 former strikeforce/interim ufc champs, AND he avenged his only 2 losses by finishing both opponents. Oh, and he moved up a weight class and won that belt too. 🐐

Even if he won that second belt, it was against the worst middleweight champ in history. And he had one eye. Generations of welterweights means nothing, neither does all the other things you mentioned. Bottom line is Usman beat better fighters than GSP.

It's hard to compare them to Usyk, different times. Usyk represented Ukraine for the last ~10 years right now, the war years. And he's also such a decent, stand-up guy, sincere and a masterful boxer too. He's about to try to unify belts fighting Fury, and... Imagine how Canada would feel about GSP's career, if it would be happening during a great full scale war launched at you (god forbid, of course). That's how we feel. Lomachenko is also a great boxer, but unfortunately he appeared to be a half-way russian invasion apologist, maybe not quite, but sort of. Needless to say he's stigmatized by the vast majority of us now, that''s a shame, he's such a talent, but his family is just... whatever.
