What an AMAZING figure! I have the smaller Figma release and love it but this Max Factory figure is on a whole other level! Thank you for actually having the batteries to show us the light up features. Beautiful! I am definitely on team compound for the eyes. They help give Guyver a more insect like aesthetic which I think fits the character. As usual your photography and poses are on point! Thanks again for sharing and congrats!
I'm so glad Max both: loves Guyver and is good friends with Takaya, otherwise we would not be getting quality stuff like this. Awesome review, I picked up the figma earlier this year and I'm excited to see the newly revealed Guyver Gigantic figma they showed off a couple weeks ago being realized.
The Guyver, my all time favorite scifi anime ever. Fantastic work here, I was hoping for a better painting job. It looks like a single color spay job for his entire body.
This figure looks positively stunning. This is one of those releases that makes me really wish I had the space and money for 1/6th. Regardless, I hope this does really well because I just really want to see more Guyver stuff come out in general. Stellar review as always!
I love the shit out of Guyver and this figure really does look incredible. The fact they got yoshiki takaya involved with the figure and it being a passion project sounds like something special, even for a figure like that. The price is admittingly pretty high but given the value of what you’d I can see it being worth it for how incredibly accurate it looks and such.

It's an amazing looking figure! But i couldn't justify paying that much. I was kinda hoping Figma would carry on making more Guyver figures after that Ultimate Version release of the Guyver 1. Would still like to see them release the original Guyver 2.
At the INSANELY RIDICULOUS price point of this figure, I would expect NOT to see ANY peg holes or screws visible, but there they are on the toe joints and elbow joints... also fkin HATE that it has the SAME hindered articulation on the upper thighs preventing it from doing full splits that the smaller figures suffer from... and I hate the floaty neck piece thing, and again, at THIS price point, I would have expected the LEDs on the entire figure to be activated by magnets for ease... The INSANE price point I keep referring to was over $600 for this thing, and while I love Guyver, and this is certainly a solid example of a 1/6 scale Guyver figure, it should have been COMPLETELY PERFECT and devoid of ANY of the issues I stated above... especially when considering Hot Toys puts out amazingly lifelike 1/6 scale figures, most of which have soft goods clothing, and a TON of accessories, for a FRACTION of the cost of this Guyver... I get it's somewhat of a niche character compared to Anime/Manga like Dragon Ball or Naruto... etc, but it's not THAT niche... there's clearly a HUGE fan base that fondly remembers Guyver, considering how fast this thing sold out, so it's not like they're hurting for sales, nor what thing this made of full diecast or anything to warrant a $600+ pricetag... It's overpriced to hell, but they purposefully made it in limited quantities so that they could get it sold at the stupid pricepoint of $600+... when instead they should have just manufactured 5x as many for a more reasonable $250-300 price point and they all would have sold JUST FINE as well... but I guess Max Factory doesn't care about the fandom or inspiring more Guyver products, they just wanna juice the fandom for as much money as possible under the guise of this being a "niche" character, when it isn't... People have been clamoring for more Guyver media and merchandise for ages... everytime there's a new Mortal Kombat game people fantasize about how cool it would be for Guyver to be a guest fighter in the MK universe, or seeing the Guyver and Kamen Rider or Sentai(Power) Rangers mingle together somehow, even tho Guyver's hyper violence would have to take a back seat if he'd ever show up in either of those franchises in any official capacity... etc... People love Guyver, the license holders for some damn reason just continue to deny everyone more of it, and continue to make ridiculously priced niche merchandise like huge statues that cost thousands, or this figure with it's bloated ass $600+ pricetag... To the license holders and creator, MAKE MORE GUYVER, DON'T MAKE IT LIMITED, AND MAKE IT AFFORDABLE... Simple recipe for success and financial gain right there ^^^^
I'm not surprised for a figma with their half of the finger size figure already costing almost 200 bucks. If threezero makes this one, this will be around 250 or less, with probably on par quality
I like guyver, but not 545 dollars like. I think if we are being honest, there are hot toys that cost less and have leds, diecast, and a bunch of accessories for less. I'm just aaying at that price it's not for me, but heck, I did pay about 700 for the painted clear red gigantic shin. One thing I can say for certain is I didn't buy two of them.
🤣😂 it’s all good. The thing that sucks, I see people are already scalping this release. Hopefully it cools down and everyone is able to get one eventually.

You can slide the neck cable all the way up the sides of head, so the thinner part of the cable is hidden
