Testing the latest MAME-CMI2x build by Davide Ciraolo (audio-test)

If a millisecond is not exactly a millisecond, and 1db is not equal to 1db, then it has nothing in common with a real Fairlight CMI...
For this test, I used the same configuration file for both CMI2x builds. The audio recordings were created with the "-wavwrite" option of MAME with an output gain of 0 db ("-volume 0")

Yes Sven, finally someone has really managed to "optimize" the MAME-CMI2x so that it roars and booms like an arcade machine from 1981!!!
