- We got the car lowered on some coilovers, but the stock base model wheels just aren't cutting it! Good thing we got the perfect meaty setup! These Advan TCIIIs are absolutely stunning on the GR86 and while the fitment is tight, it looks so aggressive!

Hey! I run the same setup just +38. Definitely get adjustable LCA, Toe Arms, and Rear Endlinks! Helps with the ride as well!

If your still waiting on them my guess is you ordered a set of TWS Motorsport T66-Fs. The best wheel for the 86/BRZ platform. I plan on getting a set on my 2023 BRZ. I also wouldn’t be surprised if you ordered Desmond Regamasters.

I was going to get new wheels but I really love how the Premium GR86 wheels look so I'll keep them as is.

Its amazing how wheels and coilovers transform the look of a car, sadly in my country lowering it means that i will destroy my car in potholes. Some black or deep blue te37's would look incredible, they are my fave wheels

I run advan tc4's on my frs, so im kinda sad ur not sticking with the tc3's lol. Im guessing you will end up running a set of apex ec-7r or arc-8's to match your frs. Looking forward to seeing the final product!

Advan GT Beyond? Not sure though since the TC3s are similar looking.
Those wheels are insane -- nice. choice! I prefer 5 spoke wheels on cars that have a matching 5 bolt pattern (6 spokes look off). Those are way more aggressive than anything I would have considered, but after seeing them on the car... DAMN!

What size tire size can you upgrade from the stock premium 17s where you don’t have to do anything to the car and they will fit fine?

Hey Kevin.. would you recommend using lowering springs on these cars if I'm already happy with the stock suspension feel and just looking to lower the car a bit?
No bruh just go with coilovers and put them really high😭😓😂 and get some with adjustable dampers

Thinking about going with the same wheels. Where were you able to find these wheels? Or are they old wheels? Also surprised +45 didn't fit without rubbing. Think it would run okay with a 245 tire?
These were used wheels. I think it would fit just fine with a 245 and some camber.
Going with apex vs 5rs
If I go from the GR86 Premium stock 215/40/18(18x7.5,+45 offset?) to 245/35/18(18x8.5,+44 offset), which both almost have the same exact overall diameter and side wall do you think I need to adjust camber or toe if I want the tires to wear evenly or no rubbing issues for street driving only? The suspension and everything else is stock. Thanks.
Shouldn't need to mess with much camber. That's a pretty conservative setup.
Also that 18x9.5 looks fire do you recommend the same offset or should I get a different offset ?
I'd say this is the ideal offset. You could run a 245 instead of a 255 if you want to do less work to the rear.

BBK would look good. May not really need it but would definitely give a better look.

Looks sick AF. I've been looking for a 5-spoke black wheel so these just got added to my list. I'm thinking (hoping) you end up with some TE37's but IDK I feel that might be too normal/typical for you.

Knowing you like gold on red, my guess are some Enkeis. But you wouldn’t choose RPF1s like everyone else. I’ll guess Enkei TS-5s. Maybe TS-6s if you’re feeling spicy.

Most of the 86 come with matte black stock wheels which is why I prefer the 86 to the BRZ

Yes, the car is lowered on coilovers currently. The base model comes with the silver wheels and the premium comes with the black wheels.

245/35r18 but keep in mind not all tires are made equal. Some tires are wider than others even though they're the same "size".
