Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.
Great vid and thank you for it! Just a heads-up on using the Zep soap concentrate. You don't have to pre delute it. Just put in the tank full strength and the pressure washer automatically dilutes it 20:1.
@@xIRISHxSMOKEx Yes, I was thinking the same since it says "Automatic Dilution" on the front, but I wasn't sure since folks have been talking about diluting.
Lol sorry for the late reply.. im over here laughing that i over looked that.. i seen in the Manual the delution ratio and ran with it instead of fully reading it. Just goes to show im a regular dude trying to skip along lol
Thank you for your video ! You can pour your Zep soap directly into the Ryobi soap container. The power washer AUTOMATICALLY mixes your soap with water as you wash. The dilution is : 20/1 . Yes, this is an amazing little gasoline power washer ! ! Cheers from Canada, snow country.
Been home an hour with mine. Thought I'd look up some vids. The specific brand of cleaner (Zep) helps, the overall description of where everything is, your impressions of the unit, etc all helped. Didn't know about the 15-inch surface cleaner. Like you, I bought a Honda self-propelled mower my wife wanted. Not American but the quality is undeniable. Appreciate the video.
I live in Canada and I purchased a Honda lawnmower. My Honda lawnmower is MADE IN THE USA . I am extremely satisfied with my Honda lawnmower. Cheers from Canada .
Takes 10 minutes to clean the carb vs spending hundreds more on premium gas. Besides, as long as u don't let it sit with gas inside you're good, also this has a fuel shut off too. Look, don't get me wrong i use Rec 90 fuel on all my small engines but that's because i live 5 minutes from a gas station that carries it, not everyone has that luxury. Use regular, It's just about burning the fuel you put in there and using some stabilizer every now and then.
Just bought a 3200 PSi, excited to use it. Thanks for the tip for closing the fuel first. I am about to go unbox it ;). Also own a Honda engine (MY CAR) 200K miles on it. They built to last
Yes i am seeing many comments to see it actually running and I’m sorry I didn’t get that filming done for this video. Next time i have to use it ill make a video and tag it to this one
Bought the 2900psi ryobi, still haven’t unboxed. Not a Honda motor. In your opinion should I exchange for the 3000psi? Only using it for around the house stuff.
Honestly for a 100 psi I wouldn’t go through the hassle of returning it. You probably wouldn’t even tell the difference if you had them side by side. It would come down to preference and what you like about 1 vs the other and I doubt 100 psi (performance) would even be a factor or at least you wouldn’t think it will... hope this helps you
I'd return it, I've owned a Honda lawnmower with the same exact gasoline engine and it's extremely reliable. My Honda lasted for 5 years counting and it is still going strong even after all the abuse I've thrown its way.
Update: I bought the Ryobi 3000 psi pressure washer and have used it. I can confirm this is another great tool made with Honda's reliable small motor 😁👍🏻
Hello! Just bought this and I already made my first boo boo. I put what I thoug was pure unleaded gas in the tank as it was labeled as such but my husband told me it was mixed with oil for the weed eater. We poured the gas out and put fresh gas in. It starts fine but the moment the choke is pushed back in to run its turns off. Did I ruin it forever?
You can run a 4 stroke motor with fuel youve mixed for a 2 stroke. You may have oil smoke from the exhaust or foul plugs over some time, but it wont hurt the engine. With that being said still empty and run it with fresh gas. Ive notice mine you cant just throw the choke from start to run. Ease it in the the run position and dont push the choke all the way. Stop a little before it hits the barrier. Hope this helps!!
Crystal Nhim yea mybad im not a youtuber just had my phone to record with and thought i could throw this up so people could see an authentic none sponsor vid.. sorry bout the dizziness..
Purchased the Ryobi from Home Depot to replace a Husky 1550 that I had for about 15 years🌼 allabout.wiki/RY141900 I've only used the Ryobi once so far, but it works as advertised. There's a big difference in cleaning ability between the 1550psi and the 1600psi.

I really appreciate this video...because if I’m going to spend 300$ for it I needed to know more about it! THANK YOU

Ive been using pressure washers all my life and this is great for the price. Definitely recommend
Great pressure washer where did you buy that hose and how many feets long
Use NON ethanol fuel for anyone who doesn’t know. It will not gum up the carburetor

Thanks for the review! Just bought one!
Just got one.. thanks for the video you were a big help
How much?
just bought same thing,,,but had a honda powered troy bilt for 13 years,,,ran great,,but used mobil one oil always,,,and 91 non eth gas,,run forever
Would have liked to see that floor attachment in action.
You can see the Surface Cleaner Ryobi in action on RUclips. It is Awesome on cement.
I bought the 300 psi electric ryobi. Love it. Tiered of cleaning carburetors every year. Stupid ethanol
I've misplaced the owners Manuel for mine do you know where I can find it online? I need to know what oil to fill it up with.
Don't delute your soap because your power washer will do it for you 20/1. It will tell you that on you soap holder on your washer.
And a tip of advice, use only the low pressure/black nozzle if cleaning fabric or something around that.
I was hoping to see it in action but nice review 🙏🏽

Mine is not releasing any soap, do u know what the problem is
Is there any way to adjust the pressure?
Good review!

@@xIRISHxSMOKEx That woukd be 1000 psi difference, not 100. Try that math again
MIchael Plante hmm 3000- 2,900 sounds like 100 bud why don’t you try again 😂

How has the machine been holding up so far? You said you had a hard time restarting in after a run?
If you fill the soap tank is there a way to switch back and forth between clean water and soapy water?
Yes, just switch from the soap nozzle and the regular nozzle. Only when you switch to the soap nozzle will it actually use the soapy water
Mine started leaking gas from carbohydrater I need any help I can get.what to do
Would have been nice to see it actually working!!!
How long does it run on a full tank of fuel?

Kim Patrick try emptying the tank , and run it till the gas line burn gas out and shuts off automatically,Then pour clean gas.

Thanks for sharing 👍 but your video made me dizzy 😵 🤮 lol... i couldn't finish the whole thing.

Thanks for the info but stop the spinning of the camera. I got motion sickness watching this video. Lol
What gas do you use?
Its a 4 stroke so regular gas is all you need no oil needed..
$?
Can you use to clean 🧽 cars or trucks?
You should use non-ethanol fuel on these small engines, you can get it at Home Depot if you need.
