I remember the days of being young, in love and passionate about building a home we both loved. Even tho you both OBVIOUSLY work SO hard, take time to enjoy each other too. And remember what it is that you love about each other. When the baby permits of course haha.
I really appreciate how consistently you guys have uploaded even with a new baby! I’m sure it takes a lot of effort to plan your schedule so far ahead.
I would like a rustic Christmas table centrepiece that can be used over and over again with changes each year. I know it’s early for Christmas but we may need to collect things to make it.
It’s never to early for Christmas!! That might be a real challenge as this year we are planning Christmas in Spain and we have a lot less options there (specially as I love to use dried foliage that I find) but I am going to give it some thought!
Loved the candles, but loved the drawer linings task with your Mum ♥️♥️ memories made right there, but # 1 has to be the laundry for me, the fact that the washing machine and dryer are elevated and the doors are perfect + love the paint colour … wow guys no wonder we all look forward to your next projects…big hugs for Danteo and you two …from Australia 🇦🇺 with ♥️
Thank you guys!!! ❤😊 Every single detail in that place holds a memory of you two. (not to mention the videos) My mother and last parent left to me died in 2017. I decided to go to Puerto Rico after her passing for my nephew's wedding and some time for a nostalgic memory lane field day. I have been in the United States since 1981 to go to school (University of Florida) and decided to stay in the mainland since. Anyway, in that memory lane tour, i decided to visit the home of my childhood. The current owners allowed me to come in and enjoy a nice tour. When I walked outside to the patio balcony, i saw a project that my father and I did together. We installed a terracotta floor there. I almost fainted. I was surprised that the floor that my father and I enjoyed installing was still there. Lol,!!! All this to say that in the future you will have many moments like this. God willing Danteo one day will know the stories of every corner worked on that property and go through the same memory adventure i went through that nostalgic day. He will remember his lovely adventures with you two with a smile and maybe a tear ln his face like mine. Cheers guys! ❤ The best is yet to come!!!😊👌
You two crack me up! I enjoy your back-and-forth banter as much as your DIY endevours from start to finish. The funnest piece of this video for me was your animated discussion over the idea for the fabric-covered cardboard as a drawer lining. I’m wondering if Dean’s claim of 20% credit for the cardboard part would be considered about right, too low or too high? Anyway, I think everyone had a good laugh about it and kidding aside, the lining turned out really nice.
You should maybe line the trough with heavy plastic (the bottom and 1/2 way up the sides) to retain the water but, more importantly, to save it from rotting out too quickly 😮😢😢❤
The part of the original new candle holder that was left over from the parts you put in stone, can be turned upside down, drill holes across the tips and string ( or wire) larger vintage or antique crystals from them. Making it into a wind chime... ❤ A great place to hang it would be just inside the window in the laundryroom or a bedroom. The light will hit the crystals, and when there is airflow, when the window is open, it will make the sound of clinking champagne glasses. Older heavy crystals don't break easily. ...❤
You guys are so clever and resourceful, finding furniture pieces that could end up in a tip and making then look like a million dollars or should I say pounds or quid. And especially recycling old bit and bobs and turning them in to something new. Ps love the glimpse of the tiles in the hot house. A labour of love that will outlast all of us and bring joy to all.
Um, my tool box consists of 2 screwdrivers, a hammer, rawlplugs and a limp week drill which probably needs to be retired to the skip....so i'll live vicariously through you guys who not only have the vision and creativity but also the tools. Keep showing them though as you never know, I might expand my tool collection someday.
"Trust me! Who found this vanity? Who found this everything? That's my idea. You're gonna have to go with me." Sounds like every DIY project in my marriage.
And Borja that is So, So, Sweet that your Mom is there Helping you Borja and is Dean holding the Camera helping that way.Well I am Happy Dean that Borja Mom is there because I know she Loves you Dean and her Son and your Beautiful baby.❤
You two make me laugh! Your “arguments” and some of the looks Borja gives you Dean 😂 I love the custom vanity so much! Your tips for the cupboards in the laundry will be so helpful when we get to building some in our laundry thank you. The inserts for the drawers is such a good idea. Not going to lie though I am a little excited to see the fails too
My challenge is to do something that looks great - lots of impact - and is well made but doesn't need lots of fancy equipment. No routers or masonry drills. Something a beginner DIY person could do but that looks really top notch. ❤😊
Oh totally well that’s where we started the planting trough is a great one as most DIY stores will also cut it for you so you only have to screw it together
I think the two of you are amazing, even when you sound like two little boys having a really nice, polite bicker, not wanting to hurt each others feelings. Your ideas are really good and something to be proud of. Thank you. ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉😊
That wallpaper that is hanging off the wall in the room where you do your sit-down talks is driving me nuts. I have half a mind to hop on a plane and cross the pond and tear it all off myself - FOR FREE. (If this is part of some evil plan to recruit free labour around the estate, it's working...)🤪🤪🤪 Aside from that, I love that you create things for your estate that only exist because you made them yourselves - and do it beautifully.♥♥♥
Aha… Welcome to the “highlights” package, or is it part of the “best of” series? Fear not. Whichever it may be, I can never get enough of you guys. Keep up the good work as well as getting enough rest in between. From autumnal Dubrovnik Zoltán
Hi Dean, Borja.I Pray all three of you are doing Well. And thank you 💕 for Showing all of Us what how to D.I.Y how you guys Use thing's you had around your Home❤ all three of you.❤ Raquel.
The vignette that you have created in the “interview room” is so interesting: A few bricks, some torn wallpaper, some old leather suitcases with books on top. Oh and an old radiator. There also used to be a picture on the wall which appears to have been repurposed elsewhere. Nice!
I can't tell you two How much I love watching you!! Now Like you said - "Let's Elevate Something From Nothing" ! Spend maybe 20 pounds and Transform from Fugly to Fabulous!! LOL The Challenge is On Guys!! ♥♥
We're on holiday, in Kos, at the moment. But, weve looked at your website and definitely want to stay in your beautiful home, which Ive enjoyed watching your artistry, and love for the place transform each building. You both have great style and vision. Look forward to meeting you both.😊
Try that rock idea with 5ft and slightly less lengths of 1/4 inch aluminium rod. Drill length wise holes in 1 inch dowel that is cut 6inches long and round off ends to look like reeds then stain with wood stain . Slide down onto rod leaving a couple inches at end and glue into place. Drill holes in rock and put reeds into rock (don't glue in) then place near a water feature in garden, bend rod in an arch in different directions .

You should maybe line the trough with heavy plastic (the bottom and 1/2 way up the sides) to retain the water but, more importantly, to save it from rotting out too quickly 😮😢😢❤
I agree. This is what I was going to say. A wooden planter doesn’t last long. It will leak underneath and rot quickly.
That’s what I was thinking too.
As soon as we switched out the daffodils we put a plastic liner in after a few people suggested it 🥰🥰
I look forward to seeing your videos every week - I love your enthusiasm and the fun you have together . These look fantastic . Thank you both !
Glad you like them! 😊
Every time I think it can't get any better, you come up with a new project. I love your beautiful bathroom vanity.

DIY Drawer Liner - suggestion - fold fabric in at the corners first, then each side to create a mirtred corner finish.
Ahh good one!!
